Fun place to hang out on Friday and Saturday especially in the summer. Scenic view of the lake. Music bingo and other game nights. Best burger in the area but other food is good too. Stayed nearby and a local recommended we stop in here for a drink. The place is a little bit of a "dive" but not in a bad way. It has character and sits right on the lake. We were hungry and noticed lots of folks eating, so we ordered food as well. Glad we did! The pizza was tasty and large for the price. Stopped in around 7 on a Sunday night with my husband and parents. Our server, Jackson was very attentive and took great care of us. The candied brussel sprouts were delicious. I had the lake perch, my parents both had the dockside chicken wrap, and my husband had the quesadilla burger. Our food was all amazing and the portions were huge. Great food and beautiful view of Round lake. We came twice and had perch, shrimp tacos, Reuben and salmon. Loved it.

I've had bad service but this place took it to a whole new level. We sat waiting for our food for an hour and then the waitress realized she had forgot to put the order in. The waitress didn't charge us for dinner after one of us turned into Betty White. Much rather have paid and been in and out, in under 2 hours. Food was very good but it could have been that they starved us first. Beer selection was mostly domestic and only offered 3 beers on draft and 1 of those was sold out. Management needs to rethink how they staff the place and maybe trim back the menu to something that can be managed more efficiently until they can get enough help. read more

This is my favorite place in the area. Dan must have worked for Avis at some. Point because this place always tries harder. Number 1 SERVICE They actually serve you here (down the road they don't do that). Wait staff has always been a strength. They're good salt of the earth of people. They're honest and genuine. You feel like they enjoy your presence. Number 2 FOOD. Is it gourmet? No. Do I want gourmet when I come here? No. So it's really good Pub/Bar food. They know how to cook a burger here. Enough said. My favorites are the Blue Sky Burger and Fish tacos. Number 3 ATMOSPHERE. grab a seat on the deck and sit ON the water not across the street from the water. Want some.fire? So yeah it's a little road house but I think he's ok with that. Overall we've been coming here for years. Dan is almost always present checking in on EVERYONE not just his friends. The food is good, service is great and ATMOSPHERE is fun and genuine. First time here and it was great! Atmosphere and the view of the lake is something you can't beat. We ordered the pickle chips with the BBQ and buffalo wings for appetizers. Please read this all the way through! I am only reviewing this based on the food, and staff friendliness, live music and atmosphere. NOT based on COVID-19 safety protocols. The Covid-19 safety wasn't terrible but if you are a worrier or immunocompromised I would be cautious. Most of the staff wore masks but our server did not which made me a little nervous we sat outside, but we were not wearing them at our table so I guess she could have argument, I was a little uneasy but I think she sensed this so she tried her best to keep her distance which was very sweet, she was very sweet! The food was wonderful, the view was beautiful as it's right on the lake. My husband ordered fish and chips and was shocked when she brought his food and he asked what type of fish it was, it was Grouper! This is probably the only restaurant in West Michigan with Grouper...he said it tasted fresh and it was wonderful!!!!! I had the Chicken Caprese sandwich, it was very good. I was definitely regretting not ordering the Prime Rib special, we saw someone else ordered it and it looked delicious! My Bloody Marry was great! The owner came around and made sure we were happy and if we needed everything, they did space the tables apart nicely and had a lot of outside tables. The issue the was alarming happened when we went inside to use the bathroom, it was jam packed around the bar and no one except the employees behind the bar were wearing masks. Needless to say we didn't go back inside the bar! I will not go back until the weather warms up and we can sit outside again. read more

The staff was very attentive, even other waitresses and whom I assume was the owner stopped by. Go earlier if you want a quieter atmosphere as it seems to be very popular with the locals. First place we tried on vacation. Beautiful views but service was not good. Our party of 3 adults and 2 teenagers arrived at 8:45 on Saturday night. I wasn't sure if it was a bar atmosphere but an employee out front let us know kids are welcomed. We were sat outside on the small deck by the hostess. She said it is only a limited bar menu after 9pm. This is where the problem began. She walked away and we sat watching the sole patio waitress serve the crowd around us. I thought maybe she was waiting until 9pm for the bar menu but she never even took drink orders or came by. Finally after 30 minutes my husband asked and her reply was "What does your waitress look like?" Umm, are you kidding? She was the only waitress out there! You're our waitress! She took our order, brought our food, then told us she was leaving at 10pm. That made me think she just didn't want to take on our table. Food was ok. Cocktail menu was small and disappointing. They do not have the cocktails featured on their IG account. Disappointing that they let the bar crowd spill out onto the small patio to drink and smoke while we were eating dinner, blocking our sunset view. They seem to know the hours to be open for the town and a lot of times they are the only place that is open when the other restaurants are closed. This was our first try trying this restaurant and our last. One of our children has a dairy allergy and they struggled to accommodate for that. The server didn't know what contained dairy and what didn't. Even their spaghetti sauce contained dairy. We thought ordering pasta with tomato sauce would be safe but alas. The atmosphere is great. You're right on the water. The food took a little long but was delicious. The highlight of the evening was the waiter/bartender. We actually thought he owned the place because of the way he made sure everyone was happy in the whole place. Great guy, very knowledgeable, and personable. My wife had just recovered from cancer and it was our anniversary. It was the first time i had seen her smile since she was diagnosed. The guy really had us going. Cool location, absolutely horrendous cooks. Wings are just frozen then flash fried. I know cause mine were still frozen in the middle. Doesn't follow covid regulation. Burgers are also frozen patties. There were like 3 parties total (very slow day) and they still forgot all of the toppings on my burger. Waste of launch and access space. Just demo it. Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. My family and I came in when there were very few people in. After we got appetizers, we were forgotten about for over an hour. I got a single refill and she never collected our obviously empty plates. Multiples tables who came in after us had come and gone. It took almost an hour and a half for her to tell us that it'd be another ten minutes for food, and they didn't have what my mother ordered. She tried to get us to pay for the food they clearly hadn't started. Even after all of that, she threw the check onto the table and walked away. I'm understanding of being short staffed, but this was ridiculous. No apology, no updates, no service. read more

We never really got to eat there, because our party of 6 adults and 3 children exceeded what they could handle that night. It was a Monday, and the outdoor dining was closed, but definitely had a great lake view. It was not overly crowded inside, and we had called prior to driving over, and was not told at that time that our party of 9 was to big. Disappointed, because we really wanted to try the place. We had heard a lot of good things about it. However, a very friendly customer told us of another restaurant nearby with outdoor seating and good food. They were absolutely right. So obviously they have great patrons who understand the difficulties of families unfamiliar with an area on vacation. Still want to try the place, but maybe next year, and not on a Monday. We last visited about 2 years ago. Typical bar food with horrible service. Tried again tonight because of hearing several people had recent positive experience. I didn't think it could get worse. If I could give zero stars I would. It took an hour and 45 minutes on a Monday night that wasn't very busy to get our food. When the order finally came several things were not as ordered.
