I also noticed him visiting other tables, which was a nice touch and showed good customer service. We originally wanted to sit outside because the view and setting are beautiful, but the Steinhatchee gnats were definitely out that evening. Unfortunately, I forgot our gnat spray -- and around here you know that's almost mandatory! We started with the conch fritters, and those were a hit with both of us. Very flavorful and definitely something I'd order again. I ordered the scallops, which were tasty, although they weren't served very hot and the breading was falling off a bit. My husband had the shrimp dinner and enjoyed his meal as well. The salad bar was fresh and nicely stocked, which we appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would return, especially for the atmosphere, friendly service, and conch fritters.

Everything was very good, and the biscuit was especially outstanding--one of the best biscuits I've had in a long time. The owner even came out to check on us and make sure everything was good, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place.
