I cannot say enough about Chris and Al. These are men of absolute and utmost integrity. A couple of months ago, their garage was burglarized and among the motorcycles that were stolen was my sons 2017 110cc KLX. I would say we were devastated, however the response from Chris and Al at DTMoto was so swift and so huge that we didn't have time to be. In less than 24hrs, Chris pulled some strings with a dealership and replaced the motorcycle (which was a used 2017 model) with a brand new 2025. We were absolutely shocked! We couldn't believe anyone who had been the direct victim of a crime could and would turn around so quickly to replace this motorcycle and then go above and beyond with a brand new one. My son, who is 10yrs old, was deeply impressed by this gesture and to this day keeps repeating something he heard Chris say: "dad, he said kids go first". Chris had several calls to make that day, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of motorcycles to think about, but he spent his first 24hrs thinking about my son. I will never forget this significant act of generosity, and I will continue to share the story to anyone who will listen. So, if you came here looking for a review about DT Moto, just know that these guys are the most honest, hard working and real people in the business. You can trust them with your motorcycles, they will not waste your time, they will not lie to you. They are straight shooters. Chris is the only mechanic I trust with my motorcycles. He has never once steered me wrong and has meticulous attention to detail. Chris recently serviced my Harley super glide and the difference was night and day. My Harley Softail Fat Boy was running terribly. I took it to several Harley dealers, independent garages, and all the others. No one could figure out the problem, but that didn't stop them from charging me a lot of dough. I love the bike, but was going to sell it out of frustration. Thank God I called Chris. He saw me the same day I called, and just a few hours later called me to tell me he found the problem. He is polite, intelligent, does not have an attitude, and had the bike fixed in a week. Amazing transformation, and the fees were very fair. He even cleaned the bike and detailed it for me at no charge. The bike has never run or looked this good. I am so satisfied! If you knew how many years and dollars I spent crossing state lines trying to get this problem resolved, and here I found the best damn motorcycle mechanic right here in my hometown. Had the pleasure to deal with Chris and Dan. They worked on my street triple on short notice in busy season. Not only were their prices very reasonable but Chris called me to follow up and appease some questions I'm glad he asked. They were extremely friendly, humble, and professional. I had a complete engine software tune done, a full service, integrated tail lights installed and fixed an electrical issue. On top of that, my bike had a complete detail done. All for 1/3rd of what a dealer would have charged me. It's safe to say that I will be going there from now on and nowhere else. These guys have a good business model, customer is first, they care. These guys are great! I bought a used 1995 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 off of Craigs list for $1300.00 that was running on one cylinder. Chris and Kevin tuned it up and detailed it till it ran smooth as if it was new and looked pretty decent for an old bike. Unfortunately the gear shift broke as it was an old bike after less than 300 miles. It broke down in New Canaan and these guys came from Stamford to pick me and my dead bike up, towed me home and told me not to waste any cash fixing up the bike. They could have made a mint off of me by lying but they didn't. Great mechanics and honest as the day is long. You can trust them for any repairs, oil changes etc. Tell them i sent you. read more
