We have used Dodge Electrics since 2010. Every time we have contracted with them, the service and quality always exceeds my expectations. I am a VERY picky customer (a micromanager of sorts) and I am always so pleased with every job their workers have performed. The quality and showmanship of all of their staff is very consistent. The last job we did (our house is under contract for sale) Mike spent over 45 minutes with me on the phone answering all of my questions about each item on the quote and comparing them to my inspection. He answered questions in such a patient and professional manner and even educated me along the way. I was blown away by the time he took to speak with me. We will never go with another company. In addition to the professionalism, customer service and quality of their work, they are SUPER honest fair with their pricing and invoicing structure. I am a paranoid customer who has been taken advantage of in the past, and I feel so secure knowing that not only are the team members performing the job are being honest in their work but that the management is as well. Their pricing is beyond fair for the quality! I am always impressed when I ask for a quote and I can actually afford it on my tight budget. I had to turn off the main power at my breaker and when I flipped the main switch, it broke and would not turn back on. This was a Sunday around 3pm. I called my home warranty company and they couldn't get anyone out until Tuesday but told me I could find someone on my own and they would reimburse me. This was awhile ago and I can't remember how I found Dodge but I'm glad I did. Preston was at my house within half an hour and confirmed my breaker switch was shot. Apparently the switch my breaker uses is rare and hard to find, especially on a Sunday. With anyone else, I would have been without power until at least the next day but Preston was able to call a friend who owns a store that stocked the part I needed and he opened the store for him. Again, within 30 minutes, he was back at the house with the part and able to fix the problem. Preston was nice enough to describe the problem to the home warranty representative so I could get reimbursed even though most contractors hate dealing with them. Not only that, but he asked if he could keep the broken switch so he could show his team a switch they may not have seen before. I love that! I have recommended Dodge to a couple friends and they have been impressed as well. I generally don't write Yelp reviews but feel compelled to give Dodge Electric five stars. I called Dodge Electric when we blown the fuse in the electric panel by using two hair dryers in the upper and the lower bathroom, simultaneously. Obviously, self-test outlet was not working either. I found their name online, called and got an answer right away. I explained the situation and asked for an estimate over the phone. They were able to provide information about the chargers that may incur. Once I decided to receive their services,Mike called me with the scheduled appointment and asked me information about manufacturer of the electric panel so that the technician would bring the correct replacement part, not just any spare part. I was impressed with that. He explained where to find that information. The following day the technician arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He even called before, to let me know that he was on his way. He looked at the issue and fixed it in no time. He checked to see if everything was working properly. I am so very happy with the service I have received, I would not be able to take care of this issue by myself. Over this past weekend we had what we thought was a problem with our smoke detectors. Regular beeping started and continued. My first thought was that the batteries needed replacement but that proved to not be the issue. The detectors were 16 years old and needed to be replaced sooner than later so I replaced all five locations with new ones thinking that the problem would be solved. The beeping continued. After trying out different approaches with no luck we called Jim Taylor at Dodge Electric early on Monday morning. Jim was onsite in a very short period and was able to inform us that the real culprit was our carbon monoxide sensor and not the smoke detectors He was very knowledgeable about both systems and explained clearly what I was doing wrong and how to resolve the problem. As it turned out the resolution was a very short one with an easy fix. I was very thankful for the time and expense he saved us. I had some non-working outlets in my home and a few receptacles I wanted changed out due to color. Preston came out to look at the project and made sure I had thought through some easier possible fixes first. Then they emailed me an estimate a few days later. Jordan coordinated the appointment time and he was very conscientious about ensuring I received all messages and was clear about information they needed and the appointment time. Originally, the appointment was for 7:30-8:30 am but the day before Jordan left me an email and phone message that the technicians had to make a stop before my coming to my house that day. It was actually a better time for us so not a problem and I appreciated his efforts to ensure I had received the message. Chris and Tyler worked quickly, finding and fixing all my issues in 45 minutes! Kept Our Business Running We moved office locations last year. Dodge Electric helped make this transition smooth. We were extremely pleased with the experience from initial contact to completion of the project. They were easy to work with & very accommodating to our schedule. In our new office, we needed new phone lines wired and wiring for our computer network installed at 6 desk locations. Our phone company had given us a Sat appointment time to hook up our phones so Dodge Electric installed our wiring on Friday. Using Dodge Electric to install a combo bathroom exhaust fan/led light/ Bluetooth speaker as well as an 8 camera video surveillance system was an excellent decision. From the initial walk around and estimate with Preston to meeting with Chris and Tyler for the installation, Dodge Electric was spot on with setting proper expectations and backing it up with a job well done! Chris and Tyler were very conscientious of their cleanliness, fit and finish and communication of how the two jobs were progressing. I contacted Dodge Electric to have the junction box cover behind my oven put back on since it was loose. I really appreciated how considerate and convenient the company was. I used their website to request a quote late in the evening and in the morning got a call from Jordan. He was upfront about their rate and professional. I received a courtesy call the day before my appointment and even a disclaimer that there might be a job that required more time before mine. This allowed me to plan my morning better and get a good idea of when I would be able to get to the office. The service guys showed up in the time frame promised and even used the doormat to wipe their shoes before entering my house (something I have to remind my family to do)! Dodge Electric has some of the best customer service I have ever seen in a business. I requested a bid on installing some outlets in my garage. The gentlemen who provided the quote was very professional and walked me through why he suggested what he did. Right after I received my quote I purchased a large chandelier that I needed help hanging. I sent Dodge an email and they gave me the updated quote right then. They even worked with me to time their arrival to coincide with the chandelier shipment so they could install it as soon as it arrived! After this experience, I had an electrical problem and I sent an email on a Sunday requesting someone to come take a look and I got a response the same day! We needed some fixtures installed in our newly finished house. 7 ceiling fans, 3 pendant lights , a chandelier, and a couple of dimmers. Had a small issue with power in laundry room. Had an appt for service on Monday, but they had a snafu with their communication,and no one came or called, so i told them never mind. I thought that was the end of it, but i got the best email from Mike at Dodge. I could not believe they cared. I was so impressed that I cancelled the other company and called Mike to schedule and someone was out within hrs.on Tuesday. It took him 30 minutes to find the problem,(just a loose wire). Seth Storer was the tech and what a nice, personable young man. This is truly a great company. They sent me a coupon for a free hr of work for the mix up. No other company would have done that. I needed a ceiling fan installed Dodge Electric was the one company I just happened to pick. VERY glad I did. I needed it the same day (other install set up with large store was not communicated correctly) Not that Dodge would promise a same day installation, but I called, they said they would check and see - sure enough! I received a call back in a timely manner letting me know they had an opening in the afternoon. Preston arrived on time for my estimate and sent it in for pricing, they do take a little longer to get the estimate than other companies but its worth it because they have a very accurate way of giving you the estimate. I was on a tight schedule to fix my main breaker and as soon as I contacted Mike about my time frame he stayed in contact with me all day to figure out how to solve the problem ASAP. The part I needed was very hard to find and they went above and beyond to find the part but we could not find it. Mike let me know we could fix it a different way and the very next morning Jim came out on time and fixed the breaker and all this was done for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend these guys to anyone. We needed a new junction box and a ceiling fan installed on it. Mike came out and gave us an estimate; we got it by email within a couple of days; we scheduled the work for the next week. Two guys showed up; they were quick, efficient and neat; in and out in a couple of hours. I didn't even need to pay them; got an invoice in the mail a couple of weeks later. Three days later, the fan started to wobble. Called Mike, and free of charge, no less, he sent out someone who made a couple of adjustments and all has been fine since then. They're not expensive; they're quick, neat, they do high quality work and have great follow up. If there's anything more you can ask for, I don't know what it would be. read more

They called when they were on their way and arrived when they said they would. They installed my timers efficiently and cleaned up after. The electricians were knowledgeable and friendly. Thank goodness for people like Preston. I called on Saturday morning with a electrical problem. Within a half hour I received a response and Preston arrived in the next hour to check the situation out. After letting him know what was going on he got busy looking at the situation. After doing a complete examination he determined the problem may not be in our house but with the wiring of the electric company. He let me know what to do if the problem should continue. People like Preston need to be commended for their business ethics and customer service even when it does not benefit them economically. As always, they were on time (or early), did a fantastic job, took pains to listen to my concerns and addressed them, and cleaned up after themselves. The service provided to us during our home purchase was amazing. We had quite a bit of work that needed to be done in the new home. The technician came out before closing and did a thorough check and estimate of the all work needed. They were able to work with both myself and my realtor to provide all information needed to get the work completed at the close of escrow. The technicians that came out to perform the work were very polite and knowledgeable. The performed all work needed in a very timely matter and even explained what they were doing as it was done.
