Daffo is the Hard Rock of the Temecula wineries. They have two tasting areas. The first room is for lounging and is very similar vibe to other wineries in the area...beautiful fresh floral views and wine flowing at a fast pace. The second room is for rocking out. They have tons of motorcycles hanging from the walls, killer merch, and a mixture of high and low top tables. Very fun to check out, and totally unique to the other wineries in the area. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. They cater to the notion that it's about what you like and not necesarily what is liked by the general population...and I love that. The wines in my opinion are the best in temecula, although I have visited about 70% of the wineries so I'll keep you posted if I find a notable contender. You must try the Vermintino...it's worth the visit alone. They also have chimchurri and other items for sale which are quite good. Go check it out next time your in the area, you won't regret it.

If you're looking for exceptional reds in Temecula, Doffo Winery is a MUST visit! Doug was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us to the tastings that perfectly matched what we were looking for. I had the $32 MOTOROSSO and my husband enjoyed the $38 ROSSO, both were fantastic (we shared our tastings). Their reds are truly the best I've had in Temecula. By the end of our tastings, we already knew which ones were coming home with us: 2022 Syrah, 2021 Petite Sirah, and 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve....sooo GOOD! As for the atmosphere, very warm and very inviting. You can tell a lot of thought went into the space. The motorcycle collection is such a cool, unique touch and makes the whole experience feel that much more memorable. 100% Highly recommend making a stop here. We'll definitely be returning next time we're in Temecula!

We went to Temecula for the day to celebrate my birthday. We stopped by Doffo. Doffo is not where all the big wineries are. It's smaller and off the beaten path. We did a tasting and then we were given a private tour of the motorcycle museum which we did not expect so that was super cool. The owner of the winery collects vintage motorcycles and fixes them up. These were really neat to see. The oldest motorcycle was from 1947! Their wines are great too! My favorite was the sparkling one. The labels on their bottles are really neat! Go on a weekend. The museum is open then. We went on a weekday but our connoisseur was sweet to give us a tour! We will definitely be back! I need to pick up a bottle of their sparkling wine!

We had brunch here and the area was nice and shady! We tried the chimichurri fries and the sandwich. We like the fries more than the sandwich for sure. Small enough to enjoy as a meal!

Doffo Winery is one of the more popular wineries in Wine Country, Temecula, with numerous accolades under their belt. We wanted to try a wine tasting here in Southern California, so we stopped by in autumn of 2024. Prices are moderate, in the $30s for 4-6 wines depending on your course. We wanted to try the Rosso Tasting ($38) as our server recommended it for anyone starting their wine tasting journey: it featured their popular wines and balanced well with whites and reds. We really liked their 2021 Zinfandel, a well-crafted blend of rich fruit aromas (figs, cherries, plum) in an easy-to-drink red wine. Our server was also kind enough to allow us to try 2 drinks from the Misto tasting, since we did not want to double up on the same wine from doing 2 of the same tasting. Overall, the tasting was a pleasant and elevated experience. We liked being able to enjoy the outdoor patio, scenic views of the vineyard, while savoring the tastes of the various wines crafted at Doffo! I would definitely recommend this winery to anyone in the area.

We absolutely love this this winery and their family. They treat their members as royalty! Came here for a members seafood boil and it was magical. The service is top notch! The winery ambiance is best of Temecula in the barrel room. Best reds n zins in Temecula by far! Multiple award winner year after year!!! We love Doffo for life!!!!

This review is for the country music concert hosted at the winery, and perform by Vegas McGraw - Tim Mcgraw tribute band. Although I'm not a huge country music fan, I really enjoyed the concert. Vegas McGrath did A great job singing and interacting with the audience. The venue is pretty, sitting outdoors overlooking the vinyard, listening to the great music, sipping the wine and watching the sunset, it is really a perfect night. I also really like all the antique motorcycle collections at the winery. Since we are here mainly for the concert, I only tried one white and one red wines. Although I'm na, wowed, but they are easy to drink. We also order a Caesar's salad and a chicken sandwich to share from their restaurant. I thought the food was just okay, not really memorable. I definitely will recommend to look for an event to attend at the winery and I'm sure you will thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was our first stop for my birthday weekend and it was great! We were lucky enough to be served by Susan who was phenomenal! She taught us the 5 S's of wine tasting. She brought out other wines to taste according to our conversations we were having with her. My boyfriend loves cigars and she poured him a glass of Port that cigar aficionados like to dip their cigars in before smoking. Needless to say he loved it. She even went and picked fresh lavender for us to use while tasting one of the wines. The olive oil, balsamic and chimichurri dipping plate with crackers was so delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be back again before our weekend is over and fingers crossed Susan will be there.

Doffo is a great option when visiting wineries in Temecula! Great food options, lovely views, quality service and the wine selection is plentiful. I would definitely visit again!

This is the best winery in Temecula! Hands Down! Great staff, marvelous wines. The Zinfandel '22 was our favorite. Our server, Jacob "The Cowboy". Is Amazing! . Friendly, funny and personable, while being very knowledgeable on our wine tastings. Showed us the lunch menu that had some good choices so we took a bottle of wine onto their patio where we were able to try their chimicurri and balsamic vinegar on our sandwiches and salads. Overall we had a great time. As we were leaving Sue gave us some other wineries to visit that they both enjoyed but we stayed so long here we will have to visit them tomorrow.

We came to Doffo for the brunch and beefed up loving the wine, the staff and the atmosphere. I hadn't been to Doffo before this visit and we will definitely be back again. The food was delicious, the recommendations on the wine was great and made our experience and so much cool stuff to see.

Best wines we have found in Temecula to date! Every wine we had was just perfect. We did a tasting of the reds for $38 and everything was right on. Our favorites were the Salute, which was a blend, the Malbec and the Zinfandel. They also gave us a little homemade chimichurri and crackers to pair with the Malbec, and it was divine. We will absolutely be back on each trip to Temecula and totally recommend. Our server Jake was excellent and we met the nicest couple from Riverside who was standing next to us at the bar. They also have a pretty patio out back, where you can have tastings or order brunch or lunch. And you can check out their collection of vintage motorcycles.see you next time!

Our first club purchase. The Zin was our absolute favorite.

Susan is truly an industry leading hospitality professional. She made us feel so welcomed from the moment we stepped foot into the tasting room. Her vast knowledge of the product as well as the surrounding valley was such a delight. You never felt pressured into buying anything. It was such a lovely experience overall we ended up joining the wine club as my husband and I both agreed we would love to come back. Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal on the day that we were there, but it looked like they had a lovely outdoor patio to enjoy the wine on. We will definitely be back next month to enjoy all the perks of our new wine club status.

Ask the Community - Doffo Wines

    Is out side food welcome?

Rule of thumb is if a business is selling food, it's not as welcoming to bring some in . Might be health depth rule. So just call n ask.

    Are you kid friendly?

It's a winery. Nothing for kids to do or to roam around.

If I'm coming from Burbank ca and cannot drive what's the best travel to your location if I fly? I'm coming to an event at your location in April. Thank you in advance

If you insist on flying and not taking the train then Ontario or San Diego or OC would be your best best.

Do you have live music on Saturdays?

    Yes Saturdays and Sundays!

    Is the winery dog friendly?

    They now allow dogs 🐶

Do you allow dogs at the MotoGP viewings?

    Only service dogs are allowed.

What is the current tasting price at Doffo and for how many pours?

    25 for 6 (mixed), 35 for 7 reds

I see that the tasting room is open till 6pm, how late do they allow you to start a wine tasting?

    6pm

I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.

The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Every suggestion she offers feels thoughtful and perfectly suited to our preferences and wine choices. Her service is smooth--timing, presentation, and attention to detail are all impeccable. Chelsea works in the members' lounge at Bolero, and her professionalism and care shine through in every guest interaction. She is attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating our needs before we ask. Our glasses are never empty, and everything flows smoothly. She balances professionalism with personality--friendly, confident, and visibly passionate about her work. If you're fortunate enough to be served by Chelsea, you're guaranteed a top-tier experience. She truly enhances our evenings, transforming a good day into something exceptional. Highly recommended!
