We had such a wonderful experience at Altisima Winery this past Thursday! Courtney took amazing care of us and truly made our visit special. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the Optimista along with the calamari, and both were fantastic. The wine was delicious, the calamari was perfectly prepared, and the beautiful atmosphere made it even better. Courtney really stood out and was a huge part of why we had such a great time. Excellent service can completely elevate an experience, and she absolutely did that for us. We left already looking forward to coming back! We had a delicious lunch at the restaurant and Courtney our waitress did a fabulous job. When we were getting ready to leave Jared, check several pictures for our party. He was such a professional and very personable. We are surprised when we read his name tag, and it had a temporary sticker with his name typed on it. We had asked him how long he had been with the winery and he had said two years. He definitely deserves at the very least a proper name tag. We are hoping that he gets a promotion soon to be a waiter. He is a great asset to this winery and made our experience memorable. read more

1st time here on Sunday July 26, 2026. I'm not a wine drinker but my friends are. Therefore I'm the designated driver for my friends. We arrived around 1:30pm. There's plenty of parking. If you park at the overflow parking area there is a driver with his golf cart that will drop you off at the entrance. The place was pretty packed. My friends went to the tasting area and was greeted my Sara. Sara made great suggestions which my friends enjoyed all of them. I ordered the charcuterie board which was $52.00. Charcuterie board with cheese, almonds, candied pecans, slices of meat, peaches, grapes, strawberries, fig jam was delicious, but $52.00 is ridiculously expensive. We had reservations for 2:30pm for the on ground restaurant Gaspar's. The outside patio area was nice but it was a hot day. Thank goodness there were huge umbrella coverings for the seating area. We sat there listening to live music which was nice. I did bring my hand held portable fan which came in handy. We all really enjoyed this winery as most definitely will be back. read more

His knowledge of the wines was impressive, and he took the time to explain each pour without ever making it feel overwhelming. You can tell he's genuinely passionate about what he does. A time was had. This was my first ever winery experience and it was to celebrate my friends Isabel Irma's birthday. She had made the reservation for us, she's a Temecula girly so we drove up from San Diego and again, a time was had. There is ample parking so don't be worried if you come and the scene here is just stunning. We were a little early waiting for the birthday girl so we checked in and roamed around the restaurant, it's is just so beautiful. Once we all arrived we were sat outside which I was a little nervous for, considering the temperature, but they started misting and everything cooled down. For drinks, I ordered the pina colada while my friends ordered the mango froze, guava froze and sangria. We opted for appetizers instead of meals since we were going to be having a big meal later that day. Our drinks were strong, since I was driving I opted to drink half of my cocktail and give the rest to the birthday girl. Out of the drinks I would definitely say the guava was my favorite, it was perfectly sweet and if I wasn't driving I would have drank my first and ordered the other. We ordered the potatoes bravas, calamari and empenadas, the food came out so quickly and between the four of us we devoured it. The calamari were my favorites and especially loved the fried peppers! The wine was excellent, and the live music added a mellow, enjoyable vibe that made the experience even better. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, going on a date, or simply spending time with friends, this is a wonderful spot to visit. I'll definitely be back! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I think the patio could use more umbrellas. During the summer in Temecula, the California sun can be intense, and there are only a few shaded tables in what is otherwise a fantastic outdoor seating area. We really enjoyed our experience at Altisima. Our initial impression was a bit daunting, as we walked in and saw so many people tasting. This is a VERY BUSY winery. After checking in for our scheduled reservation (which I highly suggest), things started to improve. We were greeted by our amazing tour guide, Connor. Not only was Connor attentive and friendly, but he was also full of great information and education about the property, the winemaking process, and the wines in particular. He, along with Zach, really seemed not only to have a wealth of knowledge but also to be enjoying what they were sharing with us, which just seemed to elevate the whole experience. After our tour, Connor also led us through our tasting, which was fun, along with some marvelous cheeses. Came to visit the winery on a Sunday morning to celebrate some birthdays, and we went upstairs to have glasses of champagne and enjoy the views. We had previously had lunch and drinks during the weekend and so we decided to just out for drinks upstairs in the members lounge, although we would've liked to have had food served upstairs. Our overall experience with the winery has always been plentiful and joyous with the memories we have with family and friends. Went to Temecula for a day trip with the girls. Altisima was our first stop. We had reservations at 1130 for brunch on a Saturday. The place was decent, got sat right away, and took our time ordering food and drinks. 4 drinks, 4 entrees, and 2 appetizers to share came out to about 85$ a person including tip. The food wasn't amazing, but rather decent. Some of us liked the calamari, but I didn't like it as much. I should have tried their ceviche. I ordered their tomato pasta with salmon. The salmon was way overcooked and dry. Wasn't worth what I paid for it. Eventually a live ban started playing. Lots of outdoor seating and spots to take pictures. Staff members were nice and place was clean. We were celebrating belated birthdays so they gave us churros which were good and came in perfect bite size. read more

The environment here is great. The location is picturesque. There are so many reasons to visit here. The location, the wine of course, the decor and set up. Just beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect for day drinking. My friend has a membership, so we were able to be seated upstairs on the 2nd level in the members' lounge. It felt like VIP getting in that elevator. I love the view from up there. I did not drink the wine but from what I saw, the pours were very generous. The property is well kept. It is beautiful and modern with an extremely accommodating staff. When we first pulled in I felt a bit like we were in Napa. Very modern building that is more restaurant than tasting room. The place was packed with wall-to-wall people at 3pm on a Saturday. Outdoors was packed as well, we stood out there and drank a glass. Not a lot of shade. Our friends are members so we were able to go up to the members lounge after a one hour wait. Much more chill up there. On to the wines: Luna Mia was an outstanding, crisp white blend with a bit of body. Perfect for a hot day. Burlington Elegante is an interesting red blend that's mostly montepulciano. It was bold and interesting yet drinkable without much fuss. Food: Spanish meat flatbread was on point topped with spicy sausage. Empanadas were surprisingly delicious. All in a fun outing. Parking sucks, be prepared for dirt/gravel and a bit of walking. read more

I've been to a handful of wineries in Temecula and this ranks amongst my favorites! It was super busy on Memorial Day Weekend and they had no availability at the restaurant. We were lucky to snag a spot in the grass area right as someone was leaving. There was live music and the vibes were good. I don't usually drive all the way up here, but for this view and wine tasting experience, it makes the drive worth it. Place is huge and very pretty with plenty of seats. As soon as you walked in, there is an elevator to the left, which would take you to the second floor, for the members lounge only. It is a really beautiful lounge but make sure to bring a sweater because it gets chilly later in the afternoon. We were finishing up around 6:40 PM when we notice a bunch of people with their blankets and thick jackets walking towards the projector screen at the first floor getting ready for an outdoor free movie night, that was really cool. If we came prepared with our blankets too to keep us warm we would've stayed longer and watched too. Wines are very nice however it is a little pricey starting from $15 a glass for a Chardonnay and price ranges from $23 and up per glass for the Reds. read more

Beautiful venue but the service was left much to be desired. Four of us decided to come here for wine tasting. It was quiet when we arrived to the tasting room and there were two staff behind the bar. They saw us walking towards them but didn't greet or acknowledge us. We got to the bar and the staff had their backs turned. We waited thinking that they were perhaps busy. But then they went over to other customers standing further away and spoke with them and continued to ignore our group. At one point we even left the bar to see if someone else could serve us. Our must haves are as follows...bold reds, good social events and overall a place that values and appreciates their members! Well all three boxes were checked! We enjoyed the tasting and Connor was exceptional at his wine knowledge and overall appreciation for transparency about what is offered in coordination with what we looking for as potential members. They have 2 tiers of membership. Both a great value so we look forward to finding out more details. We don't get to try the food but the service and ambiance was quite exceptional! Went to Altisma today with a member for a nice birthday lunch. I ordered the $32 mimosa flight, and it was four somewhat large jars of warm fruit juice, with basically undetectable sparkling wine. I had a conversation with the server, and she was not helpful at all. Basically asked me if I wanted to order something else. Did not offer to fix it. I wanted the mimosa flight that I've been looking forward to. I ended up ordering TWO MORE glasses of sparkling wine (one of which was totally flat) to try to make mimosas, and I still had flat juice with a mild wine taste. What kind of winery does not know how to mix a mimosa? That was annoying, but then we got our food. The "tomato soup" tasted like very thick (the spoon stands up in it) pasta sauce that was uncomfortably spicy. No difference between the tomato soup and pasta sauce I had on my seafood pasta. My dad, who never complains about anything, said his tomato soup was too spicy to eat. We asked the server to bring us some cream or something to cut the soup, and she did so, which was helpful. I poured the leftovers on my pasta to eat later. The fish of the day, seabass, was overcooked, but the risotto was decent. All this to say, when you pay a little extra, you expect decent quality. Altisima does not seem to care. If it weren't for my friend's membership, I would never go to Altisima again. read more

Amazing service as 12 of us arrive an hour later than our reservation and they still had the ability to drive service and wine to everybody satisfaction. The many settings that provide is awesome. We started in the private members lounge conference room to the outside shaded umbrella area with the mountains in the background and ended back in the members location.
