Instead? Total professionals. Check-in was smoother than a cat sliding off a countertop. The exam was quick, painless (for everyone involved), and they even managed to draw blood without summoning a demon. Impressive. And the mani/pedi? Let's just say the world is a safer place now that her murder claws have been filed down. She strutted out like she just left a feline day spa, not a horror movie set. I took my dog in for a teeth cleaning, but she ended up having nearly $2,000 in surgery to remove all of her teeth instead. It was the right thing to do, but as you can imagine, it was extremely distressful. Afterwards I received the bill, which STILL included the cost of a "cleaning, polishing and fluoride treatment." I politely asked that the charge be removed, since her teeth were actually removed and never cleaned. Initially, they refused, saying I still owed them nearly $150 for the cleaning. I then wrote the office manager an email explaining the situation and expressing my disappointment. To her credit, she finally refunded the charge. However, during a follow up appointment, Dr. Todd Kyle had the audacity to tell me he didn't appreciate my email or my tone and abruptly tried to walk out of the exam. He didn't know the whole situation, clearly, nor had he given me the opportunity to explain my perspective. He was rude, dismissive and disrespectful. Without talking to his own staff about the situation, he decided it was his place to admonish me and tell me how I should have reacted. I refuse to let him treat me like that and would never let him treat a pet of mine again. The previous owners NEVER would have let this happen. I loved them and was an ardent advocate for them for decades. Now I'm looking for a new vet.

This was only our second time taking our two Yorkies to a boarder. The first time at a different…read morekennel was terrible as they both were vomiting blood due to stress uclers when we picked them up. This time was the same length of stay, but they have shown no issues or illness several days after picking them up. The kennel let us tour in advance so we could see the set up and different areas. They had an area for big dogs, small dogs, and the frufru room for teacup dogs. The big and little sections had guillotine doors so they could go outside. The kennel sent us text and picture updates while we were on vacation so we had some peace of mind. The pups shared a kennel space in the small dog section and reportedly enjoyed barking and running along the fence with the neighbor schnauzer. We were able to send them with a mat, blanket, wet and dry food, as well as treats. Vaccines are required. The bedding also needs to be washable. Overall we will use them if we go away again.

The prices are reasonable and I appreciated that for the influenza boosters they had me see a tech so we didn't pay for the full veterinarian rate. Another positive note is that the establishment is always very clean and has a welcoming feel. Elton stayed overnight for boarding once and it was a great experience. They gave him a good amount of play time and there was also the option to add on different services, like a peanut butter filled Kong. Elton is never afraid when we pull up here but always excited to see his friends.
