My baby loved it here. The front assistant and the vet are both very polite and thorough. They offer a free exam coupon which was honored without issue. I came here with my 14 week old maltipoo for her first exam and updated vaccines. It's located right off of cemetery rd and is easy to get in and out. I have been a client of Hilliard Vet Hospital since 1989. This practice is by far the BEST practice I have ever trusted the lives of my furry babies. Dr. Djelmis is a perfect successor to George Kukor, and the fact that several of Dr. Kukor's staff have stayed with Dr. D says it all. I brought my cat Lucy into Dr. Zoltan Djelmis office and could NOT be happier with Dr. and his medical staff! I wanted a new veterinarian to care for Lucy my cat. I adopted her in September from Cols. Humane in Hilliard that had many medical issues that was discovered by his expertise as a veterinarian. Love the staff here and their willingness to help. My cat Jinks survived a horrific total loss house fire on 1/20/2020 and was found cold, wet and on shock under the stairs 17 hours after the ordeal began. Though he was not a patient at the facility they took him in and provided urgent care and kept him for my family. They notified me immediately of his needs and facilitated a transfer to OSU veterinary. Back now for follow up and can't be more pleased with the friendly, caring staff... Hilliard Veterinary Hospital is super clean to begin with, all the employees are friendly and helpful. If you want to make sure that your pet is healthy, this is the place to go, they don't skip corners and do whatever is necessary. Dr. Zoltan Djelmis operated on our dog, it was an emergency surgery, and without going into details I can say it went perfect! Recovery was amazingly smooth, stitches are done so nice and neat, we always felt cared for, because the staff checked on us often. I can't say enough wonderful things about this office. We have been taking our now 1 year old dog here since we got her, and every single person at Hilliard Veterinary Hospital has taken wonderful care of her (and me as well). This is a small and modest office with a big heart. Dr. Djelmis, Daniel, and everyone there always takes the time to make sure they have answered all of our questions, have explained everything thoroughly, and will talk me through anything I don't understand. We can call in with questions, and they have been able to get us in for appointments quickly. Even after small issues, they will call to check in and see if everything is going okay. Absolutely love Dr. D! Don't know what I'd do without him. They helped us through the life of our senior dog and even fixed all of his vomiting and diarrhea (which he'd had for a year at that point with no end in sight), which was such a relief because no other vet knew what to do. I would highly recommend Dr. Djelmis to anyone looking for a vet in the Hilliard area. We recently adopted a retired racing greyhound and I noticed on their web site that Dr. Djelmis had once owned a greyhound. I couldn't be happier so far with our decision to establish him as our regular vet. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the special needs that the greyhound breed has and he has a fantastic "bedside manner"! We also have two cats that we have been taking to Banfield hospital at Pet Smart and are currently in the middle of an annual program that I regret signing up for. We're not entirely unhappy with Banfield, but once our program runs out next March we are definitely switching our two cats over to HIlliard Veterinary as well. read more

We have been coming to this vet for 2.5 years now since our puppy came with a voucher for a free first check up. We love the staff and the doctor. Everyone is just super friendly and they were so supportive when we had to put down an older dog. They sent a sympathy card with her paw print and some of her fur. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Though it's a little out of our way to get to it is well worth it. we took out 3 month pup in for vaccines and a check up they gave her lots of love and reassured her multiple times through out the whole exam. the doctor was very knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. Price was good and there was never any pressure to buy or have anything done, they just mentioned some products they offer and the benefits to them and left it up to us. My husband had been bringing his pets here for 20 years so when I moved to Hilliard 6 years ago, I brought my pets here, too. Between us, we had 8 cats and 2 dogs; a blended family. We felt that we and our pets were well cared for up until the past year. The biggest issue was when our elderly cat was projectile vomiting almost daily for 3 months; we made numerous requests for stomach meds. Only when she was boarded there on-site was she given stomach meds, which alleviated the problem. (This after we spent almost two thousand dollars on her.) There were customer service issues as well. I had purchased Hills Science Diet from them April 2019 because my senior dog has to maintain his weight due to having invertabral disc disease; I was assured that I would be texted the correct feeding amounts. Days went by and I received nothing. Fast forward to June 2019 and I purchased a different formula that they recommended. I was again assured that they'd text me the correct feeding amounts but again, I received nothing. There were some minor customer service issues and favoritism on social media (#Best9) but they've all added up. I would also like to note that neither doctor has reached out to us and getting copies of our crew's medical records was like pulling teeth. After 20 years of loyalty and thousands (and thousands) of dollars spent without so much as a phone call or an apology, we're left with a very bad taste in our mouths. read more

My family and I have been taking our pets to this vet hospital since the 1970s or there about. Dr. Kukor was the only vet at the time and was excellent! When he retired he got Dr. Djamis to take over and he and the staff have kept up the great reputation. The service is very top notch and everyone there is always happy to help in any way. If want loving care given to your pet, this is the place to bring them. They are knowledgeable & explain what they need to do for your pet in a way you can understand. The bill is never a surprise as they let you know the cost & options for the care your pet will receive. One of our cats passed away recently. I have been taking my dogs to DR DJ for almost 16 years now. He is the best there is. he is a very concern Vet who will not let go until he finds their problem. I would recommed him to anyone. The whole staff is knowledgable and friendly and the facility is clean. Not only do they do cute things like send my dog birthday cards, but they also took my dog in when they were completely booked for the day. They checked her out in between appointments and called me with updates and price estimates. They won't do any procedure before showing you the price and having your consent to move forward.
