I asked for a refund and she told there was no refund on saltwater fish. My point, however, is that the policy needs to be a little flexible in certain circumstances such a a fish dying in less than 12 hrs. I believe that I should of gotten a full refund or store credit. The manager would not agree to any reimbursement what so ever. That's gggreat customer service. Wont shop in that store anymore.

I would like to preface this by saying I love this store and the people there are GOOD people, but the bad review is about a product they carry. I purchased Dog Rocks to make my dogs' urine stop turning the grass yellow. These were heavily promoted by someone at the store as working, and they are not cheap. Well, they didn't work, and when I researched these online, not only did I find they are basically a huge scam, but I found that the reason for the discoloration on the lawn is caused by ammonia, which in turn is a result of NORMAL KIDNEY FUNCTION. So even if they worked, would I really want to give my dogs something that alters their kidney function just to make my grass look better? More research showed if they DO anything, they just filter the impurities from the water in the water dish, and do not change the ph level in my dogs' urine, which is determined by kidney function. I wish I had looked into this first and really thought it through before spending the money on them. And nice people at the store, please do your research. I know you care about animals and your customers, but I think someone pulled a fast one on you, and you should just stop selling these.

I admit I was a little nonplussed when I arrived at noon, which was when the staff member on the phone told me I should come, and the sign said the clinic didn't start until 1:00 p.m.. Staff members told us we could go ahead and get in line since the line tends to fill up early. We probably actually save time by arriving early, since we were out the door by 1:05 and there was a line wrapping all the way through the store. We realized it was probably a pretty smart idea for them to offer these services, because of course while we are waiting for our appointment, we took turns strolling around the store and picking up extras of some toys the dogs had really enjoyed and some extra treats. Tons of people - ourselves included - wanted to pet all the puppies in line. It's super important it was important to sanitize your hands between snuggles, however, since most of these puppies are not fully vaccinated yet and are vulnerable to communicable diseases. This is especially important currently as there have been outbreaks of both parvo and kennel cough in our region lately. The staff here is always super friendly to the four-legged customers!

The ladies at Geddes did a fine job handling him. Our other dog is a golden retriever named Gabe who I wanted to have groomed for bird hunting season, basically just taking off his burr-attracting feathering on his legs, belly and tail, and of course a toenail trim. I could not have been happier with the result. Although the groomer had not ever done this, she used resources that showed her a gun dog "sport cut," and nailed it. He looked great. She even pointed out a small yeast infection the old fellow had going on his chest and suggested how to get rid of it with cider vinegar. It worked! Am taking Gabe back for what might be his last bird hunting season as he's close to 11 years old now. He might be slower than he used to be in the woods, but he'll be looking better than ever.

We've bought squirrels and nuts and puppies and ice cream cones and I also bought a 'Corgi Cannoli' for my friend's dog - who is a Corgi mix. ;-P They also offer some grooming services. We have taken Artie in for nail trimmings in between his grooming appointments - a cheap and convenient service.
