No stars is how I would review their business practices. My Royal standard poodle has been here…read moretwice. Both times because my regular groomer was unavailable. First time was not a fantastic experience as my dog got bathroom sick right after returning home from being there. Second time now and my dog was completely sheered and choppy made to look like a rescue dog. I agree he had some matting but not to the extreme they took it too. No time was spent to comb out Matts or make him look like a poodle! His feet were atrocious and one foot bloody. His ears were radically cleaned and not dried which ended up with a bacterial infection and a vet bill of 100$. This business will not take any responsibility for the trauma my poor dog has endured.

I had a terrible experience with my Teddy Bear Poo at this place. I used their services to groom…read moremy fur baby and verbally told the trimmer not to trim inside of his ears and to not cut off his 3 inch eyes lashes. Well to my surprise they did everything I told her not too. When I asked Stacey, the owner why were his eyes lashes cut off.....she shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well, at least they will grow back". I was to stunned and speechless at her " not giving a crap" attitude. Yes, my dogs eyes lashes will grow back.......it will only take 1 year to 15 months to achieve that length. I asked for my money back and was told that is not an option and she has never in 30 years of grooming had anybody ask for their money back, ha! The total lack of caring and this from the owner of the small business is so disappointing.

I gave a 4-star review and Mary was not happy about it. She reached out to me inquiring why it was not 5. I was feeling bullied into giving a 5. I told her how my dogs love it there and I thought 4 was a good rating.... We had an exchange and I could go into details, but again, I won't. I don't feel the need to smear somebody and be petty online. I told her I was going to have to think about bringing them back because of how I was being treated but not that I wasn't going to. She basically referred me to other places and cancelled my info and will not allow me to log in. If anyone wants to reach out to me privately, feel free and I will explain further. This note has NOTHING to do with the staff. They were great. Owner was very unprofessional. I was extremely surprised at this. Thank you to all the staff who have loved on my babies. :)

Our dogs were kept in the basement where we were not allowed to go. Neither one of them ate while we were gone and we were not notified of this and they both had developed diarrhea. No one told us anything until we picked them up! So we went to pick them up after we got back from Texas and could see that something was very wrong. They each had lost 4 lbs!!! The older one was so weak that by the next day she could not stand. We took her to the emergency vet in Coon Rapids where they gave her some IV fluids and prescribed some medication. We were lucky that she made it. Our other dog pulled through okay. The Bed and Bone is not a good place for dogs and there is no communication about your dog. After this incident, I never boarded my dogs again but used Rover to have someone come to the house and stay with them. I highly recommend them. It might cost more but it's worth it, not just in price but in care, plus you're not paying an emergency vet bill. Its a bad bad bad place!
