I had taken my dog to a previous local groomer and after switching to 3-C's, we haven't looked back. It was a huge difference between how good her cuts are now compared to then and her behavior after being groomed. They really take their time to make sure their cut is perfect and they always give them a cute bow or bandana that perfects the look. They are also educational and will point you to the right products and tools for your pup. I always recommend them to everyone I know with dogs. You really get what you pay for and it is so worth it! Their pricing and policies are listed all at the front and they do ask you what you would like to be done, so there are no surprises. Every professional grooming place will have additional fees for matting, behavior etc. so that should not be a surprise either. I…read moretook my dog here last month for the first time and was charged a behavior charge. no biggie, assumed it was because my dog was new to the place. i still tipped, $125 for a groom. second time, today, they said my shih tzu/pomeranian was over 25lbs (additional $20) and that she was bad (additional $15) and they added on services i didn't even request for (teeth brushing $10) and my total was over $150 for a groom... all i'm saying is my dog has been groomed for the past 7 years, and another groomer in Lompoc never had an issue with her "behavior" and she has also been there twice and always said she was good. so i question, what are the groomers doing to make a non-reactive dog reactive??? save your money, save your dog, don't take your pet here.

I took him to shaggy dog in Grover back when Michelle was having her baby and enjoying her maternity leave and I will NOT ever take him back to them. When Michelle made time for Oliver she let me stay and watch the entire thing for comfort. Shaggy Dog pushes you out the door and says come back in 5-6 hours, while shoving your pup into a kennel for Lord knows how long .... not Michelle. She takes on one pup at a time so you know your baby is getting the perfect amount of attention and love. She comforts your pup and gives them treats! The fact that she lets me stay for mine and Oliver's comfort makes my heart so happy. She knows she's good at what she does and she isn't afraid to let you witness it yourself!
