Many come with the intention of getting a TJ Dog, many get talked into it by those selling it, and many succumbed to the munchies. No matter the reason, they're more tasty than they smell (if that's possible). Many have some hot dogs in all stages of their cook state (cooked enough, some char, lots of char, almost overcooked). A lot of the hot dog vendors have their PayPal/Venmo QR codes taped onto their cart. You can't tell the difference between the TJ dogs sold here and the ones in Tijuana. I've personally never gotten sick after eating these. Service is quick, there may be a bit of a language barrier, but not enough to prevent your purchase of a hot tasty TJ dog.

Some of the items my not-so-sober friends and I got to try: Brat Jovi: This is an "aged cheddar cheese infused bratwurst topped with peppers. It was so good that I nearly face my nearby dining companions a cheese facial from the juiciness of the first bite. The peppers provided a nice zing to the already very savory bratwurst. The Bomb Dog: It was incredibly messy. That's to be expected when the hot dog is wrapped with bacon covered with mustard, grilled onions, a pile of chili and cheese, and slice of pickle to boot. It was also incredibly good. How U Doin Dog: This was forced upon me after some heckling from my Cali buddies hoping to showcase some kind of east coast sounding hot dog ... but this chicken apple sausage topped with bbq sauce and onions while wrapped in bacon was a surprise. It was really good. The onions were a little excessive but I didn't realize how good bacon and *chicken* sausage would taste together. Bravo. Hippie Dog: Had a bite of this soy based hot dog and was not thrilled. I'm not saying a vegetarian version of a hot dog isn't quality, but I think the combination of me being almost full as well as eating the other hot dogs meant that this one really stood out for the wrong reasons. We also scored fries and chips, which were nominal at best. They made for nice side pieces for the hot dogs, which were clearly the star of the show. They also have salads as well for the health conscious, but we weren't about that life that night. The lemonade is super fresh, I recommend that as the drink of choice over anything else they offer. Lastly, the guys in the truck were professionals all the way. They were kind enough to explain all of their menu items and dealt with the more unruly guests by offering more food. They were just the right presence for a fun evening and I wouldn't hesitate to stop by their truck (or their San Luis Obispo location) for any and all hot dog related cravings.

Delicious Dogs serves a truly delicious hot dog, wrapped in bacon, and grilled to perfection. How often do you find bacon wrapped hot dogs in Northern California? Bacon wrapped hot dogs are a "thing" of Mexico, as you'll find street vendors everywhere selling this fine cuisine. But in NorCal? Delicious Dogs sells hot dogs, on Vernon Street in downtown Roseville, worthy of any bacon wrapped hot dog that I've enjoyed during my countless trips to Mexico. The hot dog starts with a large quarter-pound dog, thanks to Meadow Farms Sausage Company, and the vendors grill the dog to perfection, outdoor, using a propane fired griddle on a push cart. The "dog" is grilled on the street, just like hot dogs are cooked on the streets of nearly every city or town in Mexico. Oh... did I mention the "dog" is natural, and snaps when you bite into it? You get your dog perfectly grilled on a portable, mobile, propane fired griddle, and you get your sausage cooked YOUR WAY, with YOUR choice of condiments. The "kid" in me came out, as when I was asked what I wanted on my dog, I said "EVERYTHING" and that included ketchup, which I normally avoid. Whatever... I simply "went with it" and when I was asked what I wanted for my dog, I said "everything." Ketchup was included... The bacon wrapped hot dog was simply amazing, and reminded me of countless "dogs" I'd enjoyed during trips to Mexico. The large bacon wrapped dog was placed on a fresh hot dog bun, and covered with grilled onion and chili pepper - at my request - with a friendly nod from my hostess. As I requested "everything," my bacon wrapped dog was dressed in mayonaisse, ketchup and mustard. Everything... Such a delicious hot dog in every way! The large hot dog, along with the bacon were grilled to perfection, along with the onion and chili pepper. My hostess was simply amazing... too bad during the frenzy of the 2022 Holiday Parade in Roseville that I didn't get her name... But, any way you look at it, this was great food! These are not scrawny little dogs you find on the coaches nor are they made on a fly-by-night cart that scoffs at health codes. These hot dogs are JUMBO SIZE, HOT & STEAMY, and the different gourmet flavors are TASTY and make a great meal. The dogs are priced $3.50 to $4, so it really is a GOOD DEAL when compared to the smaller food items you get in the area for the same price range. I go there because I'm always FULL after a meal! They also have GREAT VEGGIE DOGS that are FULL of REAL FLAVOR. The service is FRIENDLY & EXCELLENT! It's a great place to get a quick meal TO-GO or you can sit and RELAX at a quiet clean table in a very popular spot for movie and tv scenes. If you work within a 3 block radius, it is truly worth making a stop at the cart, though they are only there usually around lunchtime (about noon) until about 3, monday-friday. They are new to the area, but I go there often, as it's an easy walk and a pleasant experience, and a chance to get fresh air and feel like I'm at the park and not at work! I also see a lot of attractive office ladies when I'm there, so if you're looking to meet some pretty women, I'd say this might be a good opportunity!
