Recently tried two new ones... Back to back dog: two 9 inch dogs with pastrami and nacho cheese. This was incredible. May fav so far. Believe this one is dedicated to LA Dodger Ohtani. LA street dog: one 9 inch dog with bacon, grilled peppers/onions, jalapeños, and mayo/ketchup. Very good too So many different hot dog flavors to choose from. August 26, 2026 Haven't stopped through Pink's in a while and chose to do so because the girl I'm seeing hasn't had their chili dogs... I know, sacrilege. We each get the classic chili dog, hers without onions because she's tragic, and a sour kraut dog with mustard (and again no onions because we are going to share it... huge sigh). The chili is as good as I remember it being... that mealy toothpaste texture with a slick rivulet of oil forming atop it, it just coats your mouth after you snap-bite through that warm soft bun and through the Hoffy dog consisting of Pink's proprietary blend of meats-- too good. It's a signature flavor from my past that I just love to this day. The kraut dog is great too but needs onions. Not to be forgotten in this review, we enjoyed a side order of onion rings. Surprisingly well cooked, they are crunchy and not oily at all; they were quite good. Could've used some salt in hindsight, but still quite good. The family that owns and runs Pink's have this down to a well oiled machine and the folks behind the counter who run the show in the daily? Couldn't be cooler. Efficiently run, food coming to you quickly, a clean and enjoyable set of tables and umbrellas out back to sit under and enjoy the breeze while you people-watch and chow down... what more could you ask for out of a hot dog stand? read more

I am Glizzy Girly and when my husband had a random weekend off he decided he'd take me on an adventure to LA. After we did some shopping, we needed some lunch and what better place than Pinks. Coming from San Diego, I have had Pink's Hot Dogs at the Del Mar Fair, but never at the actual restaurant. This was such a fun surprise, we found parking right away which was great because you never know with LA. The humidity was horrible and it was so hot, but the line was actually pretty fast. I was having a hard time choosing what to get but I ultimately chose the Shaq hot dog, which has a 9 inch hot dog, chili, nacho cheese and crispy onion rings, my husband ordered their "Jaws" burger which has polish hot dog, chili cheese burger and bacon. He also got a chili tamale and we shared the chili cheese fries with shredded cheese instead of nacho cheese. I think our total with drinks came out to $50? Which I thought was pretty fair for the amount of food we got. The restaurant is so cool with photos of actors on the wall with either the owner or a hotdog and they even had the cutest hotdog purse. We got our food to go, so we could eat in our car, it was too hot to be sitting outside. I shared my hot dog pieces with our dog, he loved it. We loved our food too, the chili is so good and it wasn't at all messy. That polish hotdog was spicy and when they saw Jaws they really want you to open wide because it's huge. It's been 12 years since my last visit to Pinks. My daughter and I are back after a visit to see the Marilyn Monroe exhibit at Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures. Today's visit to Pink's was just like the last we pulled up to an extremely long line that was down the block and we were all in. The wait time was 45 minutes. Pink's is old school legendary restaurant that I have eaten at for several decades the memories come back the second I hit this block. The staff work extremely fast getting those orders out, the pics, crowds and vibe are exactly the same fast and wild. And you better know what you want the head cashier is no joke she can get quite testy if you take too long placing your order. My daughter is vegan and while they do have vegan hotdogs she refuses to eat anything at Pink's because she doesn't want to risk grill/cross contamination with any meat and dairy products. She orders her fiancé a cheeseburger with everything minus the mayo or any sauce. 10/10 Polish Dog With mustard and onions. 8/10 Chili Cheese Fries 10/10 My order Pink's Famous Chili Dog with onions and mustard. 10/10 It was soo good I love the snap on these delicious hot dogs. I first heard of Pink's when it appeared in a 90210 episode, and I bookmarked it so that I can try one day. My boyfriend raved about this place so we went for lunch while we were vacationing in SoCal back in May. There was a long line, but it seemed to move pretty quickly. I looked at the menu and picked what I wanted. Then I went to go find a table while he waited in line. I found an open table immediately in front of a mural, and it was cute for photo-ops. I got the Philly Cheesesteak Dog and a Coke while my boyfriend got the Brando Dog and a YooHoo. Both were delicious! :) I saw an older lady who had a hot dog phone case, which I thought it was very cute. Then I realize that she's probably one of the owners of the place, which makes sense. Hahaha.. We found a parking spot on the street across from Pink's. Metered parking. They have a restroom there, and it seems clean. Yep, it's FYC - For Your Consideration - time, so CBS is hyping this fun show for the Emmys. Since Elsbeth wears a lot of pink on the TV series, this is a cute fit. Upon arriving, there is a small private lot and street parking to choose from. The street parking is metered. I must have gone during an off time because there was no wait, even though it was a Sunday evening. I ordered the Spicy Chicago Polish dog, a chili cheese, dog, and chili cheese fries. I had a few bites of the chili cheese fries there and took the rest to go. I really enjoyed the chili cheese fries. Both hotdog dogs were okay. I've had better. The spicy Chicago Polish was not at all spicy. Sodas are bottled and not in a cup. Service was pretty quick. If you plan on eating there, most of the seating is outdoors but under umbrellas. I decided I would order a Betty White hot dog, nothing on it. I did end up adding mustard and relish. The hot dog was delicious. The fries were given as a huge portion. Luckily, we only ordered one serving. I enjoyed the fries. They had just the right amount of crispiness. There are dozens of types of hot dogs here. Well known place for a dog in LA. Its good, their menu is very expansive with different hot dog combinations, burgers, and they have fries and onion rings. The hot dogs themselves are good! Not perfect, but good. The hot dogs meat is good, regular hot dogs, I prefer when theres a little burst to the meat, these dont really have that. The sauerkraut is fine, a little on the sweet side for sauerkraut. The chili is very good imo! Nice amount of onions. The service is rushed and hectic, verges on rude. We went right before a rush and even then it wasn't the best service. I get it though, Its a busy popular place. The inside is small but they have a nice outdoor patio, very retro vibes. Its cute. This place is definitely a local favorite! It's very small inside, but they have a great outdoor patio area that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your food. The surrounding area is super cute too, with lots of Instagram-worthy spots. The menu is surprisingly large. I originally thought they only served hot dogs, but they also have burgers and sides to choose from. The hot dogs were so good. I usually say you can't really mess up a hot dog... but I've definitely had some I didn't love before. This one was super tasty, not rubbery at all, and the bun was soft and fresh. You can tell there's quality there. They also sell really cute merch, though it is a bit pricey. I don't know if it's (stale bread, no snap to the dogs, etc) because I went later in the day but thankful for no line. SERVICE: Lots of espanol utilized in the open kitchen. Quick in and out. Service staff seemed jaded in the sense they knew every one there were tourists. I love the overall pink aesthetic with all the memorable photos with key celebrities such as Betty White, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Kimmel, and even kpop stars such as BabyMonster and Yook Sung Jae of BtoB. Props to Suho of EXO for mentioning Pink's at their concert in LA in 2016. I ordered their Turkey Burger (without tomato), Turkey Dog with relish and fries. The lady who took my order immediately memorized it and it came as is once I was ready to pay. The wait was less than 7 minutes and the price was not bad for under $21 for all three items. I am glad I arrived here before the lunch rush as there was plenty of seating at their outdoor patio. The turkey dog did not taste overly processed and it tasted perfectly juicy with their relish. The fries were crispy and not greasy at all! The turkey burger was juicy, tasty and almost identical to a charbroiled beef burger. Pinks is best enjoyed at night, when you're in the right headspace, and the line isn't too long. The food isn't anything spectacular, it's greasy, old-style fast food. Onion rings - exactly what I expected, slightly too heavy on the breading and light on the onion for my taste. This applies to all onion rings, but especially these must be eaten immediately, they're pretty bad cold... Fair sized order for $6. Chili cheese fries - also average, my friend and I agreed we prefer chili cheese fries from Tommy's, but it was fine. When compared to the Amboy chili cheese fries we had recently, this is pretty disappointing... Uninteresting chili on regular fries. Not much going on here, simple, but not particularly in a good way. Pastrami Polish dog - salty, enormous hot dog, small/medium serving of Pastrami. I thought there would be some special mustard served on the side rather than classic yellow considering it's both a polish and pastrami, both typical mustard foods, but there was nothing. This was probably my favourite item from the meal, and the one I would be most likely to return to. bacon burrito dog - absurd idea, decent execution. Tastes pretty much like what you'd expect. Contains 2 dogs, bacon, chili, cheese, and onions. It's a lot of fun, I'd suggest splitting one with a friend for the novelty. Salty. Philly cheese steak dog - fine. I'd much rather have a Philly cheese steak. I appreciate that this is on the menu though. Pink's is worth visiting for the ambiance and the history, if that's in your budget and up your alley. The food is decent, salty fast food, on the expensive side. This meal, plus 2 bottle sodas, was $58. It felt fair for Hollywood. Such an iconic restaurant and always amazing staff. Pinks is one of our favorite places to stop for a semi late night bite when we are in the area. We've been going for years and have gotten our so e hooked on the LA dogs (his favorite after concert bite) and Pinks has the some of the best! Lines are usually long but they move really quickly. Was taking out of town guests around again and my niece loves food. So I had to take her to the iconic Pink's right? It's been so long since our last visit that I didn't want to get creative -- I ordered my go-to CHILI CHEESE FRIES and it was just as good as I remembered it. The STEAK-A-MOLE FRIES was delicious and filling. CHICAGO POLISH DOG was OK. The LORD OF THE RINGS DOG was OK. The hubby who loves onion rings loved it. The line to order on a Saturday night wasn't as long as I feared. There were plenty of chairs and tables in the back for us to park our behinds and eat our orders. CREDIT CARD accepted.
