My son had an event at his school with several food trucks, and as a hot dog lover, I had to try them, even though I'm not usually a fan of Korean Corn dogs. I ordered the combo with fries and spicy rice cakes. My wife loved the spicy rice cakes, finding them pleasantly spicy. The fries were unremarkable and a bit salty. They offer a variety of condiments, and we preferred the spicy mayo. The Korean Corn Dog had gooey cheese with a good pull, but the batter-to-sausage ratio was too much for me; the sausage seemed small. Overall, I'd rate it between 3.5 and 4.0, but I'm giving it a 4.0 because the service was friendly and helpful, despite a slight language barrier.

So yummy! Plus the owner Francisco is so nice and welcoming. He was so knowledgeable about his products and had no problem informing us what he thought we would like! Love this place and its vibes! 10/10 will come again ^.^

This place has become one of my favorite comfort food spots! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for the past two years, and it's brought us so many great memories together. The Korean hot dogs are always crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, and the instant noodles are the perfect comfort meal. Everything is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is friendly too. Every visit reminds us of all the fun times we've shared here. I definitely recommend stopping by!

Located in the Glendale Galleria, this korean street food inspired place definitely hit the spot for my partner and I! There are many options to choose from for the korean style hot dogs and instant noodles. I always loved the cool new concept of making your own instant noodle meal at a restaurant - it seems so simple but it's so fun! For the hot dog, I got a large snow dog (super cheesy and tasty, and a huge portion!). For the noodles, my partner got a "stir fried" type and I got an udon flavored instant noodle - we both added all of the free toppings and paid extra for cheese and egg. The employees were very kind to let us borrow the tray to bring to our table outside the store, as I was vendoring at an event in the galleria at the time. We are definitely coming back here to try more instant noodle types and hot dogs!

Fast service the suggestion where on point good price range portions are big and worth the price will be coming back again A+++

    Cheetos corn dog

Cheetos corn dog was delicious and the cheese was cheese-ing! The staff are friendly and helpful if don't know what to order.

Great flavor and wonderful customer service, made very quickly and was worth my money and time

Absolutely obsessed with these Korean corn dogs in Little Tokyo! I got the combo of minis and it was the perfect way to try a little of everything. Each one had its own vibe--crispy, cheesy, sweet, salty, spicy--you name it. The one coated in fries was wild (in the best way), and the Flamin' Hot-style one packed serious crunch and flavor. Even the classic ones hit different with that light, golden crust. My favorite was the mozzarella and sausage combo--the cheese pulls were unreal and so satisfying. Super gooey, super stretchy, and paired perfectly with the savory sausage. They also offer four sauces--ketchup, mustard, onion cream, and spicy mayo--which took everything to the next level. The onion cream and spicy mayo were definite standouts for me. Perfectly crispy on the outside, gooey and cheesy on the inside--every bite was ridiculously good. The size was also ideal for snacking or sharing. On top of that, the service was so kind and friendly--they took the time to explain the options and made sure everything was fresh and packed up nicely. If you're in Little Tokyo and want something fun, indulgent, and totally craveable--this is it.

    The noddle station

The service here was amazing! Not only that but the food as well. The manager Francisco helped us with the noodle and gave us good recommendations. We got hot dogs and the hot dogs are definitely worth it! They taste amazing with the sause they have to offer. This place is also very clean! They have hand sanitizers at every table for costumers to use before eating. This a place one must visit when in LTFM

It's just a little dirty but the customer service is really nice and I never have to wait too long for my food.

We came as a group of 9 and thankfully, they allow for reservations if you are a group of 8 or bigger. Take note! Especially in this LA peak heat. We checked in with the valet and they gave us menus as we waited about 15/20 minutes for the table to be ready. You will need to order before you are seated and you cannot order anymore food once you are seated, given how popular they are, this makes plenty sense. We were seated inside with cooling AC and the restaurant is quite large inside! It could certainly have several parties in there. Soon, our galbi kalguksu, XL chicken kalguksu, tteokbeokki and XL pork jowl and pork belly bossam showed up. Everything was extra delicious and fresh. The soups in both the galbi and chicken kalguksus were amazing and the hand pulled noodles were divine. We drank and ate everything up quickly. The tteokbeokki was delicious, but too spicy so the rest of the party was able to enjoy it. The bossam was all so tender and had just enough napa and garlic to go with it along with the many unique sauces we could dip all the meats in. Everyone left feeling happy and it satisfied everyone's palates.

It was one of my favorite spots for kalguksu, so I was excited to come back. We visited on a Saturday around 2:00 PM. The first thing that stood out was the wait. There was a line outside despite there being numerous vacant tables inside the restaurant. I'm not sure why customers were expected to wait outside, especially during the current LA heat wave, when seating appeared to be available. While waiting, we were given menus. The first thing I noticed was the price increase. The clam kalguksu is now $22.99, which felt quite expensive, even accounting for inflation. Once seated, we were served the rice with doenjang paste and the three varieties of kimchi. Unfortunately, I found almost all of the kimchi to be noticeably saltier than I remembered, with the exception of the radish kimchi, which was enjoyable. I honestly don't remember the kimchi tasting this salty in the past. It even made us wonder whether it was intended to discourage customers from requesting refills, though I hope that wasn't the case. We ordered the new beef rib kalguksu and the clam (bajirak) kalguksu. The beef rib broth was overwhelmingly salty for our taste, to the point that I mentioned it to our server. The hand-cut noodles themselves were still excellent, but I also noticed that the clam kalguksu contained significantly fewer clams than I remember from previous visits--roughly half the portion I used to receive years ago. The noodles remain well made, but it's difficult to justify the current price when the portions seem smaller and the broths are considerably saltier than before. What originally made this restaurant special to me was its fresh, clean-tasting broth, flavorful kimchi, and generous amount of clams. Unfortunately, my recent visit didn't live up to those memories. With so many excellent kalguksu restaurants in the area, I don't see myself returning. I understand that restaurants evolve and may adjust recipes to appeal to a broader customer base, especially since most of the diners during my visit appeared to be non-Korean. However, I genuinely miss the balanced flavors, generous portions, and value that made this restaurant stand out years ago.

We got to try a couple of things. The first thing we ate was their corn cheese roll. The waiter said this is new to the menu and I hope it stays. If you are a fan of Korean cheese corn, you are going to love this. It's corn and cheese wrapped up in an egg roll like wrapper. It was a great starter. Next, we got the endive salad! This salad was beautiful and fresh! Everything you want in a salad and more. I love the sweet corn in this salad too. Every ingredient balance each other so well. We also got the scallop pancake. This was the dish I always wanted to try here but after eating it, it felt a bit heavy compare to the other dishes. It was okay but the other dishes shined more. Lastly, we got the pork jowl, my favorite of the night. It came with a side of garlic rice! You dip the pork with the chili crisp and eat it with a scoop of rice, delicious!! Should've asked for extra samjang Steak: most of my groups favorite. Cooked incredibly well and the perilla leaf chimchurri was very unique. Might have to incorporate that myself when making chimichurri. They had Korean inspired drinks which were yummy. The injeolmi flavor in mine came through really strongly (good thing). If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
