Awesome, awesome experience for me and my dog Big Daddy…read more my big, 2.5 yr old boy was going crazy when new people came around. He was jumpy, it was hard for me to control him and it was offensive to others because he weighs 65 lbs. i like fixing things, so we put ourselves through training with Mike & Champion Dog Training. At the first lesson i was excited and felt great leaving, but during the first week i was scared to enforce because doggie was sensitive to the collar. Mike gave me a little pep talk over the phone and we made it to our 2nd lesson. I cannot get him into a down/stay using force, Mike says Im soft on him, but he's doing great with everything else we learned. Stay, Stand, Sit, Heel, he's a very smart boy & im very proud. We have continued practicing even after completing the 4 week course. I now feel confident I can control him and there has been a shift in Big D., like he knows I expect more and is waiting on my que. Even his dog walker said he has really improved and she did not know he was training.

I would strongly advise anyone considering AYP Training to think twice before sending their dog…read morethere. After having our dog for 24 days, it became very clear there was a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and understanding of our living situation. We live in a high-rise condo, yet somehow they spent weeks training our dog to go outside in a backyard setting -- something that does not apply to our home at all. How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Save your money and do your research before trusting this company with your pet.

Dee came out to our house to give initial obedience lessons (actually, to train us!), and we followed up with group lessons at their facility. It's a great opportunity to drill in the basics, learn strategies to get your dog paying attention to you, heel, walk on a leash without pulling, follow basic commands. Attending the group sessions is also wonderful for socializing your dog. Beyond the basics they have agility training and other advanced classes. AYP also has excursions like a beach day... we're hoping to catch that with our current foster dog Velcro!

Open biohazard container present, dangerous. Open trash can without lid present, also dangerous. Glade lavender plug-in on, often harmful, especially for cats. No one washed their hands in front of me, but this does not necessarily mean that they are not doing it when they should, as there are several other rooms in the facility and I did not have two pets with me. Attitude towards humans: 8/10 - Overall, personally, I got very good service. I was not greeted upon arrival or for several minutes, despite no other person being in front of them. They answered all my questions, and were attentive. I observed a significantly different attitude towards another woman, but I am not aware of the entire conversation, so there is no telling why there was a different attitude, and perhaps there was a reason. I had a very appropriate and warm goodbye from every single staff member. Attitude towards pets: 8/10 - once again, personally, my baby received amazing treatment. Overall used caring hands, petting, and a nice tone. I overheard a different situation towards another pet who was in distress. The staff member did not use a calming voice or reassuring tone towards the very clearly desperate dog. However, I was not present in the room, and therefore cannot speak to the level of distress the staff member herself might have been experiencing, or the handling of the animal.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this is hands down the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to…read more They've always provided exceptional care for my dogs. Recently, one of my pups was experiencing bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Despite being fully booked, they were kind enough to squeeze me in. After receiving an IV injection and being prescribed two medications along with a food additive, my dog showed immediate improvement. What I truly appreciate is that they don't try to upsell or recommend unnecessary treatments--they genuinely care about your pet's well-being. I highly recommend this place. A big thank you to the doctor for her expert care and for prescribing only what was truly needed. Thank you, you guys are the best.
