YELP- DO NOT DELETE. Please contact me if asked to delete this post. I'm an actual previous customer and have documented proof. My wife posted a review and was removed. My wife and I also noticed that several negative reviews have also been removed. This is WRONG and may result in additional pets being injured. I left my Belgium Malinois (Buck) for boarding and training with Eli at Dogfit23 while my family went on vacation. I never would have expected to have to pickup my dog from a Vet hospital upon our return. Eli informed me that Buck had to be kept overnight for observation. Eli downplayed Bucks injuries stating that Buck only needed 1/2 stitch on his leg from a dog bite. He also failed to mention that my dog had neck, head and cheeks injuries due to leaving an e-collar on during hot days. When I saw Buck at the hospital he had stitches around the front of one of his legs and a draining tube sticking out. His neck, cheeks, top of his head and upper chest were shaved off. I could barely recognize him. He had to wear a Large dog cone. I had to nurse Buck for days putting in medicine in his draining tube daily. Prior to considering Dogfit23 for training, I called Eli. He made me feel good about choosing his training program. I trusted that Buck would be in good hands. I was Very Wrong.

I sent my female pitbull to train with Eli for a week and am beyond impressed and grateful for the work and effort he's put in with her. My dog is no walk in the park. She was female human reactive, female dog reactive, she would resource guard and was toy reactive. Walks were difficult most times because of all the leash pulling. And on top of it all, she's got alpha mentality. She was a hot mess and we weren't even aware we were enabling these behaviors. Eli's first update came with a short video and I was SHOCKED by the improvements she displayed in such a short amount of time. With each update, I was more and more assured that I had made the right call and selected the right program with the right person for the job. Eli not only trained my dog, but trained her humans too. We weren't aware of certain behaviors we were enabling and the coddling that created problems. He showed us how to correct bad behaviors, signs that a behavior may happen and taught us how to anticipate them so that we can correct them before they even happen. All in all, she's a much easier dog to manage and though we still have work to do and things to practice, I feel he gave us the knowledge and mental tools to continue correcting her behaviors and to succeed in training. I 1000% recommend Eli and his team for people seeking help training their dogs. Money well spent!

Very disappointed with the service, me and my husband wanted to train my Frenchie before my daughter was born. I contacted dogfit23 and first i gave him a list of the things my dog needed to be worked on priority #1 his aggressiveness and he said he could work on all except to train him on popping and pee outside of the house which we agreed. We were paying $700 a week and he said that he could work on my pet just one week, when the week was almost done he told me that he needed more time to work with my pet (more money) we left him 5 more days and agreed to pick him up at 6pm. He texted me saying he was running late so we waited, 4 HOURS!! because he had an incident with my dog, another dog bitted him, trainer said it was superficial and he took him to the vet and when he finally showed up, my dog had 4 stitches by his left ribs. My dog looked like he was starving so skinny and the trainer excused was that he was doing a lot exercise. Me 37 weeks pregnant was crying on our way home seeing the way my dog was even worse with the anesthesia. We ended up paying around $1200-$1300 for nothing. On the next day the trainer came to my house to show us how to keep training my dog and my dog even baked at him when he saw him (so training didn't work) the first days he was looking afraid, the trainer recommended us to buy an electric shock collar for us to keep training My dog. We did brought it and it worked for only walking. My dog still bites my brother and brother in law since day 1, and i told the trainer. Now i need to remove the stitches from my dog and i asked him (never reply) i also told him my complaint before posting it here to see if he could do something and left me seen as you can see on our conversation pics.

Is it possible to give 10 stars? Eli is the absolute best!!! A few months back I was able to adopt a German Shepherd puppy, my Tyson. As a family we do well walking him daily, however, we wanted Tyson to be friendly around other dogs as well as getting additional exercise. Eli, picks him up 3 times a week for group outings with other dogs (Tyson's friends). Tyson doesn't bark around other dogs and is very friendly. All of this is because of Eli, or as we call him "Uncle Eli." It's been months and Tyson gets excited every time Uncle Eli comes to pick him up. I must also mention DOGGY DAY CARE!!! I was in a pinch one Saturday for doggy day care services and called Eli. Tyson broke me heart when I dropped him off with Eli. He didn't even look around and just bolted to Eli and others to go play!!! He gave me video and photos of my pup! Not to mention Tyson having a great time. I never, EVER, have any worries when my baby boy Tyson is with Uncle Eli. He great hands.

This is what the cuts looked like after we picked her up.

I wanted to start my review with Eli was great at communicating with us prior to our booking. He answered all of my questions and reassured me that my dog would be in good hands. We boarded our dog the weekend before Christmas. Even when we met to drop off our dog we had a good feeling about leaving her with Eli at DogFit 23. Eli is very knowledgeable and his dogs are amazingly trained. Before boarding our dog, my main concern was that when dogs were being socialized, aka play time, that they are supervised. I even asked again when I dropped her off if dogs would be supervised while playing together and he said yes. I felt very comfortable leaving our dog in his care. There was some lack of communication with pick up, and had to wait over an hour. If pick up was the only issue I probably would have been a repeat customer. However, when we got home and I was giving our dog a bath, I noticed that she had multiple cuts all over her body. If our dog only had a couple scratches, then no big deal I know dogs can play rough with each other. Unfortunately, I found several all over her body, and a few reopened during her bath. My husband counted approximately 15 cuts on her body. This leads me to believe that some of the other dogs played a little too rough, and she was actually bleeding, and there was not enough supervision to prevent this. Our dog has very fine hair and it surprises me that nobody would have noticed that she was cut up and/or bleeding. Unfortunately, I will not be using his boarding services again. I cannot speak to his other services.

Very unprofessional, non communicative and shady business. Do your research before leaving your pet with any trainer or boarding facility.

She and Maritza actually have several clients in common through referrals. I've been sending Waffles for daycare at least twice a week for a year to Maritza and sometimes overnights and holidays if I'm leaving town. She is an amazing sitter- not just at being flexible with scheduling and communicative with pictures, videos and updates but goes above and beyond accommodating last-minute emergency situations and is so conscientious and aware of where every dog is at all times. All the dogs play well with each other and even have regular naptimes. She updates me on any possible behavioral/physical changes she notices and makes sure my pup is always safe and happy while staying with her. I have to book at least a month or two before the holidays come around because everyone is fighting for a slot to get their dog in with her. On a more personal note my Biscuit boy got run over in a hit and run two months after he first started going to her and I'll always be grateful to Maritza for making his last few months so joyful. He loved going to her place and she was one of the first people I called that day to come say goodbye to him. She even gifted a sweet memorial picture of him because she knew how hard it was for me to have such an unexpected sudden loss. I got Waffles the next month and Maritza has been a lifesaver in helping with her training. She really understands dogs and is a one in a million find since she does it full-time. Socialization and structure is SO important with puppies and I couldn't ask for a better more patient person to care for her through her puppyhood and now adolescent years. It was a happy accident that I found her but now I can't imagine sending my dog to anyone else. I have backups of course, but Waffs is the most tired and happy after a day at Maritza's! Highly recommend~

One rule was we were going to train her to be his service dog to help with mobility issues and we had to decide who to use to train her. We started off with the typical Petsmart training classes which were also great for what it was but knew we needed more. We called multiple trainers, had multiple consultations and no one we meshed with until we found Reymond. We started off with one class and even in the first class he gave us such amazing advice on training Hunny, techniques and was just a kind soul. We signed her up for private training lessons and he has helped Hunny to overcome some fears and training in real life vs a pet store. We were able to take her with us on a short Vegas trip where she was perfect. You tell me what young dog is able to lay down and settle at a Japanese Bbq place where all we are doing is grilling delicious meat and eating tons of food. So if you are wondering if you should hire Reymond and his company I am going to say yes, you won't regret it. A bonus is he also has group training classes that are very economical. With Reymond's help I know that Hunny will become an amazing service dog for my husband. Also, if ur lucky u get to pet his dog Pluto and give him some string cheese :)

We had used it before without issues, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Our dog stayed there from June 25 through July 9, 2026, with daycare twice a week. When we picked him up on July 9, we discovered a significant hole in his ear. No one had contacted us, and the receptionist said no injury was documented in his file. Staff could not explain what happened or identify which dog may have caused it. We were directed to the facility's veterinary hospital, where our dog had to be sedated, stitched, and treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. He also had to wear a cone for three weeks. We were charged for the medications and requested reimbursement from both the veterinary hospital and daycare and yes we were reimbursed. The daycare offered only 10% off a future boarding stay and two free daycare days. We have no interest in returning and no longer trust this facility with our dog's care. Accidents can happen, but an injury requiring sedation, stitches, medication, and three weeks in a cone should have been documented and reported immediately. Instead, our dog is now missing part of his ear. This experience revealed serious failures in supervision, communication, documentation, and accountability.
