This was an unexpected find, and in a very out-of-the-way spot in Woodland, California. This is not an area that I travel to with any frequency, but when I found myself here, it was the perfect opportunity to check out Doggeros, a place that I heard about eons ago, and now I had my opportunity! What made this even better, is that one of my best friends was with me,, and we were both ready for a new food experience. I had been told that the birria tacos are a must, and must we did. We ordered birria tacos, a hotdog wrapped in bacon with cheese, the elote in a cup, and two drinks. ( a jarritos & a horchata) The hotdog by itself was tasty. The bun, cheese, and bacon, not so much. The horchata was watered down, and not great. The jarritos is always a tasty bottles. The elote in a cup. It's ok. The cheese was piled on top, and outside of needing to be mixed together, it wasn't very good. The birria tacos... we didn't order the consume, and frankly, the tacos on their own were pretty tasty. Filled with perfectly seasoned meat, slightly crispy taco shell, and a smattering of cheese. More cheese please on the next tacos! Outdoor seating is first come, first serve. Orders can be to go, or dine outside. Orders are placed at a window, and picked up from a window. Service is quick, and the price point is what you'll find everywhere. Go for the Birria tacos! It's a must try.

I had doggeros on my list for a long time and finally stopped by while going through Woodland. Papi chulo super doggo: B+ This was a very tasty dog. It's loaded up with smoked bacon, mozzarella, chorizo, grilled onion, mayo and avocado sauces. It's like a street cart dog that has been loaded to the max. The bacon and the sauces make this very savory. Overall it was a good hot dog but a bit of a mess to eat. Fair prices for the hot dogs imo. If you're looking for a quick bite in woodland I would come here.

This is exactly what I want in a hot dog . Oh my goodness. I got the Chori Doggo, which has chorizo, onions, tomatoes, chipotle mayo, avocado sauce, and mozzarella cheese. I was honestly a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure how it would pair all together with a hot dog, but IT WAS PERFECT!! Every topping is so necessary and provides something a little different. The toppings definitely made for something so uniquely yummy, but the base itself is what made me SO HAPPY. The dog is so warm and meaty and juicy. The BUN!! MY FAVORITE! The bun is a perfect mix of thick and soft yet also crispy and the way that the chipotle mayo seeped into it a bit and made it even more flavorful...... This is the perfect hot dog base to me . THANK YOU! I also tried a bit of the Papi Chulo Super Doggo, but it wasn't really my preference. I do appreciate how different it tastes though! Usually I don't like to review a place until I've tried more of their items, but I just had to speak about this hot dog experience ... Thank u Doggeros.

I ordered the super bacon burger online after reading the reviews. It wasn't bad, actually it was seasoned well. I don't know where the super bacon part comes in because I got what looked to be 1 piece cut in half. Burger was on the smaller side but was ok. I would give them another try for sure, they seem to have a pretty diverse menu.

Saw that they had good reviews on yelp so we decided to try it. We ordered via uber eats. The food was ok and I'm not sure if delivery had something to do with it but it wasn't as fresh as it could be. Grilled jalapenos were good. I had the asada tacos and my friend had the hot dogs. I'm not a fan.

We had driven into town specifically to try a place that may very well be the oldest continuously operated Chinese Restaurant in the United States. Unfortunately, they were closed. LOL. They're scheduled to re-open on May 24th, so we'll have to make the trek again. So we had lunch nearby on First Street. Because we had The Beast with us, we needed someplace with outside seating. Where we ended up at, the entire time, we were watching the foot traffic across the street at Doggeros. Then we looked them up on yelp.com. Quesabirria Tacos with Consomme. We made sure that we left enough room in our tummies to have a taco. We packed up our leftovers and crossed the street. We ordered: 3 Quesabirria Tacos - 5 - Super tasty and tender meat. Came with a little container of onions and cilantro and another of hot sauce that was too hot for us. 1 Consomme - 5 - The perfect dipping sauce for the tacos. We only ate one on the road and I ate the rest the next day. Super yummy. 1 Elote in a Cup - 4 - I think we prefer our corn on the cob. It was good but just not quite there. Service was excellent. Personnel were friendly and efficient. We would definitely go out of our way to stop by here again. We noticed a seating area in the shade to the left of where we placed our order. There were several people sitting there so we didn't look at it closely since we had The Beast with us.

First time here, food was good! Along with their service. All the meats were tender and flavorful, just the prefect amount of everything. I didn't care much for the type of cheese on the super fries, it's not a good meeting cheese, didn't melt into the fries, it just clumped up together. But we definitely will be back to try other things.

Went a lavender farm before going to this place. It was different from what I'm used to eating. The service was helpful. The seating is outside. It reminded me of somewhere in Oahu.

The parking lot on a mild Friday evening was also nearly empty, which is why, after the experience I had, I'm hoping this 5 star review catches someone's eye to drum up a little more business for this humble eatery. Judy's has been around since before I was born. When I was a kid I remember visiting a few times with my dad to get burgers and shakes (I seem to recall waiting for food on an old car seat? Maybe other people remember that). About 12 years ago, I worked in the office building just behind it, and would visit for lunch at least once a week--I remember the BLT being very good. This place has always been a dive, as far back as my memory goes. So don't expect a clinically clean interior. Everything is showing its age, including the massive menu covering the gamut: teriyaki, cheesesteaks, gyros, and of course the greasy spoon mainstays of burgers and hot dogs. After I got a new job, I didn't have much occasion to visit Judy's. They also don't exactly serve up the kind food you want to be eating every day. But I happened to find myself on the west side of town and was craving fish and chips, and could only think of one place to visit. I ordered online through their website, which was very easy, and they offer lots of options for customization. I really appreciated they had a 1-piece fish and chips, because, as I suspected, the portions are really large. I arrived about 5 min before my estimated pick-up time, and after a short wait the woman running the whole show came out and my food was already ready. She was so sweet, that on impulse I decided to get a shake as well. I wonder if the business changed management since I used to frequent a lot, because I don't remember this woman at all, but she was very kind. I discovered just how kind once I got home: not only did I have a generous portion of crispy fish and chips, but a bonus fried zucchini and what I think was a sweet potato plank. They really didn't have to do that, but I so appreciated it. Word to the wise: they leave you to salt your food, so if you are taking to go and don't have access to a salt shaker, perhaps borrow one from a vacant table to shake in your bag before you leave. As previously mentioned, the fish--which had something like a beer batter or tempura batter--was crunchy and delicious. The filet itself wasn't super thick, but the fish has a mild taste and was cooked perfectly. The fried veggies were also super good, and I LOVED their tartar sauce: so herbaceous. The fries are exactly the kind I like in this application: English style thick-cut chips. Predictably, the milkshake was also delicious (peanut butter and chocolate, so how could it not be?) So Judy's isn't much to look at from the outside, but it has real heart. Even though it isn't my style of food and is a bit out of the way for me, I want to continue supporting this business. They deserve it, and you deserve some delicious fish and chips.
