The food is never hot. 2xs that I went there after a road trip, I got lucky when I actually saw the smoke coming out of the chimney and actually smell burgers in the air so I knew I will most likey get a fresh and hot whopper and I did. I don't know why we gave this place another chance. I thought, we're only getting drinks, it'll be OK. I ordered in the app - large frozen Coke and large sweet tea. At the drive thru menu, we ask them to make the ice tea half sweetened and half unsweetened. With an attitude like we are stupid, they say they don't have sweet tea. Ok, not sure why it's it's on the menu, but whatever. We get to the window and she hands us the iced tea and what looks like a medium frozen Coke. We asked if that was a large, she said yes. It's 22 Oz. Maybe that is their large. She asked if we wanted sugar packets and we said yes, 4 please, and a we drove away I saw she gave us 3. I've never had a good experience here. I know it's just fast food, but the fries and onion rings have always been stale and most of the time, the person helping us is either rude or just there, not rude but not polite either, they seem unhappy. I don't expect them to be like Dutch Bros employees, I get it, but rudeness will get you no customers. read more

Burger King is usually what we think of as "If McDonald's was good." The flame broiled burgers just taste better than McD's, they have a better selection and they have onion rings. We like Burger King. But this location sucks. Each of my last 2 visits I have been greeted in the drive thru by someone who is so obviously and completely uninterested in their job that by the time I get to the pay window I wonder if I won't somehow end up with a bag full of Carl's Jr. And each of my last 2 visits I have brought my order home only to then find that my order was short one of the burgers. In each case, interestingly, it was the "Bacon King" which was the most expensive burger in the order. Odd. Here's the thing BK people: Your job is easy. Put a burger in a bag. But here's another thing: When you fail, you cause a member of my family to go hungry and you are, in effect, stealing from me. On both occasions the "Whoppers" that we did actually receive looked like they were thrown together. It was bad. It was like they just put the ingredients into a foil wrapper in whatever order they happened to pick them up. They seem to have such disdain for their customers that I actually check my burger for loogies. And under no circumstances would I ever allow them to put mayonnaise on my burger (assuming they actually manage to deliver a burger that I already have paid for...twice). This location started off pretty good, but in the last few years I have seen police in this store with guns drawn (to be fair it was probably not their fault, unless some customer was so pissed off because they can't get an order correct), and now they can't seem to get an order right, and they treat you like crap while screwing up your dinner. Yeah, Burger King in West Woodland sucks. There is a Carl's Jr., Arby's, an independent place called Judy's Grinders, McDonald's, and even a Weinerschnitzel within a few blocks and each of them will treat you with more respect and not steal from you. Seriously - you should go anywhere other than this Burger King location. If you absolutely must have some BK, head over to the store in East Woodland next to the Home Depot. If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I wanted breakfast we pulled into the drive thru at 10:20am we pulled up to the speaker at about 10:22am we were asked to please wait. We waited until 10:30am when the screen changed from breakfast to lunch. At 10:31am someone takes our order luckily they said we can still order breakfast we ordered a mix of lunch and breakfast. We pulled up to the window and paid. We were told to please pull around to the front and wait for our food. We waited until 10:48am when I finally went inside to see what was going on. I see what I think is the manager just standing there wiping a knife and three others working. I did not get acknowledged until I finally asked to get my money back. Ever since it opened, the drive through and lobby have been nice. The open and free WiFi is also a plus. Their lobby is open until 10 pm most days, while their drive through is open 24 hours. The Whopper and fries were tasty and satisfying. The King hats are pre-made and ready to make you smile. read more

Despite my reservations my family and I went again to this location. I can now say with confidence that every experience at this location has been disappointing. No, actually appetite suppressing. The food is cold upon receipt not even after getting home and the presentation is awful. Every time. The flavor is lacklaster. It's clear that the cheapest products available are used. Burger King has achieved for my family in being the worst fast food restaurant we have ever been to. It's not cheap. It's not fast. It's not good. Burger King may want to rethink your marketing strategy or your price point. At a minimum, if this is a franchise, it needs to close. It is not serving your brand image well. I ordered the new crispy chicken sandwich and three bites in, I felt that the texture was strange, so I looked at the sandwich and realized it was still raw in the middle. I spit out the bit that was in my mouth and took the remaining sandwich to the counter to let them know it was still raw in the middle. They took it back and told the manager who then came over to my table, apologized and said that she "checked all the others, and it was the only raw one" and said they were making a fresh batch. I received my new sandwich but was grossed out and didn't eat it until about an hour later because I was still hungry. The chicken was about two shades darker than the original sandwich I received, which was a good indication that it would be cooked through. I cut it open, and it was, which is good. The bad thing is that it was dry and tough at that point. I think that they took a cooked piece of chicken and re-cooked it longer for me. There has to be a better way to make sure the chicken is cooked through. I'll be cutting my sandwiches in half from now on. I've had food poisoning from undercooked chicken before and was really worried I'd get sick from that sandwich, but luckily, I'm ok. read more
