UPDATE: We've been…read moregoing here for 2 years and it's so disappointing to see how the customer service has made a complete 360 degree turn to when we first started going here. When we first started bringing our dog here, the owner was so friendly and nice. She always took time with grooming our dog and she even took the time to talk with us when we would pick up our dog. But after a couple of visits, the owner started to show her true colors-- she's always so rude, irritated, and in a rush to get us in and out the door. I remember one time we had requested if she could cut our dog's hair a bit shorter than usual, but she immediately shut down our request. I would believe her reasons for not agreeing to our request, but throughout the course of the conversation her reasons kept changing which made me believe she simply didn't want to do it. After some tense back and forth, she eventually said she would do what we wanted. But when I got home, she called and said she was going to do it her way. At that point I was so annoyed that I just said yes since it was clear that it was either her way or the highway. I really wanted that to be my last interaction with her, but we've had difficultly finding a good groomer for a few months so we bit our pride and went back here. Going here is like a prize in a cereal box--you just never know what you're gonna get. One day the owner is so nice, while the next time she is so rude. Most of the time it's the latter. The last straw was today. I called to make an appointment and she was so rude. She kept saying I wasn't listening- meanwhile she was talking to someone in Korean on the other line while she was talking to me. Her annoyance at how long it was taking to find a day/time that works for my schedule was so clear through the phone- I could hear her annoyed little sighs and her mumblings under her breath. Maybe she was busy or in the middle of an appointment, but that is no excuse to be rude to a customer. I should have stopped going here after the first few times she showed her true colors, but I gave her too many chances. Even though they admittedly do a good job at dog grooming, no amount of shit from her can make me go back here. It's not even subpar customer service, it's down right disrespect.

My fur baby, Zuri, has been seeing Dr. May for a little over a year and half now. I'm thoroughly…read morepleased with her elite care of my baby. Little history: Zuri is an IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia ) survivor/rockstar warrior. She started seeing Dr. May approx. 3 weeks after a week long stay at the hospital, where she had 6 blood transfusions. The hospital did a phenomenal job, but when Zuri was released, her red blood cells count was still gravely low. Her case was very aggressive. Zuri was on a few medications to help her, but I knew that Zuri would need someone highly skilled. So, I did some research about internal medicine vets in NJ and found Dr May. Best decision ever! Dr. May meticulously monitored Zuri's health over several long months, always answering/addressing my many questions/ concerns, finally weaning Zuri off of her IMHA meds entirely. By the time, Zuri was off of her meds with great values, I was ready to cease the monthly visits because Zuri was doing great, and I was 100pct comfortable with Dr. May's plan. She got Zuri that far! It was a beyond scary time for me, and Zuri had been through a lot. But, Dr. May and everyone from the assistants to the front desk at Animal Care of Oradell made the overwhelming experience better. Everyone always answered my MANY questions!! It's even the little things like being engaged by Sherry at the front desk, who is always very friendly, helpful, and responsive. It doesn't escape me that she would engage me to maybe make me smile or laugh...to just relax a bit, especially earlier on when I was a nervous wreck. Fast forward to this year, Zuri was doing so well that she really just needed to get an annual done. And, it was during this visit, Dr. May noticed that Zuri's kidney function was off. She had Zuri undergo a few studies, and it was determined that Zuri has kidney filtration (protein losing nephropathy) as well as high blood pressure issues, but it was caught very early. And, since being put on a couple medications, Zuri's levels are looking really good. Btw, during this time, Zuri never displayed any signs that she was ill. Again, this is a testament to Dr. May's diligence and care. I've written enough, but since I never got around to writing one last year, I figured a lengthy review is appropriate. :-) I wholeheartedly recommended Animal Care of Oradell.

He always tells you the truth whether you're willing to accept it or not. He doesn't sugarcoat anything and that's what you want to hear as a customer. He is extremely knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything to you regarding your pet. His staff are always helpful and make the experience more friendly than other vets do. It's very clean as well. As long as he operates, we will continue to bring our animals to him whenever the need arises. Thank you always for your bedside manner and professionalism!

In my opinion through this entire situation by feel like they are the worst unprofessional place ever! I strongly recommend that you do not bring your dogs to this establishment unless you would like to get rashes or cuts or not even groomed properly! Chow Bella grooming has given my dog and her puppies a severe rash that I have to go to the veterinarian and get special medication just for them to get better! When I brought the situation to the their attention they became very upset they said why do I keep bringing them? And they did not even try to assess the problem! And quickly went to the police to try to make a complaint which was not valid! What kind of customer service is this!? Also, other dogs probably can become infected with this rash as well because it's contagious! All three of my dogs receive this horrible rash from this grooming place! And we still are having a hard time getting rid of it! The people at this grooming place are very rude, very disrespectful, and have very poor customer service! Maybe this is one of the reasons why their shop is not open all the time I wish that I would've did more research on this groomers place! Just know if a customer complains they will yell at them because that's exactly what they did to me while calling me names! The crazy thing about this is that I ran into some random lady not far from this groomers place and she told me she had a bad experience with them too! wow my advice to anyone is good luck if you do go to this groomers place because you will not be happy I promise! On top of everything my dogs weren't even groomed properly! It was uneven cuts one side might not have been cut evenly....the dewclaws all four weren't cut they would only cut two instead of all four! I'd rather pay full price elsewhere!!!!

After a friend told me how great they are with her pups, I took my 3 pups there this morning and couldn't be happier! I am a very over protective DogMom, as a new customer, I was my normal worried self! Great pricing, punctual and professional, with off street parking in the back, it was a perfect first visit for our pups... Hey Chow Bella, thanks for everything, we will be back!
