When I walked up to the place the building had two doors like a duplex apartment the first door is an apartment and the second door is a pet salon. When I came to the first door I knocked and a blond haired lady came to the door she seemed nice, but I had a funny feeling about this place. She told me to come to the second door and she would be there. I walked over to the other door and waited and waited then rang the doorbell. She came to the door and said "oh, I thought it was unlocked". Ok, weird. When I walked in the place immediately smelled like cigarette smoke it was very disturbing. The lady quickly took Pocky and said it'll only be 20 mins when on the phone she said 30 mins. All I could hear was my Pocky nonstop crying and this wasn't like any ole cry this was serious. So, I got up to see why he was crying because the lady was clipping Pocky's nails. She was trying to be as gentle as possible, but it wasn't working according to Pocky. Pocky started to cry more because the lady stopped working on him (because she was letting the flea dip soak on him) and started to work on a cat. Now, Pocky hates cats because they are scary looking and cruel to him. The lady immediately stopped early because she couldn't handle Pocky whining and crying. Sometimes it's hard, but I deal with his crying because I know what difficult past that he has been thru. With the death of his sister and him witnessing that. Poor thing, my Pocky deserves way more than that! Nice lady, but we won't be coming back! I can't handle cigarette smoke and have my clothing stanky. The lady charged me a flat $15 for blow dry, flea dip, nail trim, and bath . She said it was only $15, I had $20. She gave me $3.50 back. Not even the correct amount she was supposed to give me $5 back. She said she could run over to Donkey Mexican restaurant to get more money, but the nasty smell of that smoke I felt very uncomfortable and Pocky was too we were ready to go! Won't be back!! I searched on-line for local mobile groomers and liked Go! Mobile's website. I emailed the owner, JJ, to request an appointment and kept my fingers crossed that it would go well. Go! came by today and I am absolutely thrilled with their service. LC, the groomer, is incredibly knowledgeable and it's evident she loves animals. She was so good with them that I didn't even have to give Harley a tranquilizer for the first time ever! When you board your dog there is a contract that you sign that basically says they are not responsible for anything if something happens to your dog etc (please read carefully) as that was the first red flag. Next, was the new dog mom that was growling at the entrance. At first, I thought Johnna was really nice and personable which is why I took my dogs in the first place. She insist that I bring their dog beds that it reminds them of home etc. She told me that they clean the kennels, dogs get to go out in the run as they leave the doggy doors open for them. When I got there they were locked up, gross, filthy (as expected it is muddy out)later noticed it was poop on their rears not mud. However, Jessica (very pleasant) could not find their dog beds. Called Johnna who gets on the phone yelling at me that its common sense they would be dirty and the dog beds sometimes get destroyed thats on me not them. I still need to pay full price and I dont have to come back again. Like what owner says that? At this point, I had not asked for a discount or anything, just wanted to know what happened to the beds. I stepped out to call my husband and Jessica comes back out and says "she says dont worry about it just go". She doesn't care about your dogs at all. She will continue to have to be the cheapest in town in order to survive. Go somewhere else and spend the extra couple bucks. She just wants the money and nice enough to get the service, but cant maintain it once she gets you as a customer. RUN

After I get back I have her start providing housekeeping services as well. She wanted me to sign a document for maid service. She seemed really nice, and I trusted her. She later tells me I am locked into a 1 month contract. I do not believe she ever told me that it was a long term contract. I decided to say nothing, and continue on with the service, but just never use her again after the 1 month was up. At a certain point into that she tells me that her relative with dementia also stayed there when I was gone during the pet sitting visit. She also says that she brought her dog along as well. She said the dog did not get along with my cat. I found like maybe 15 opened spaghetti packages in my pantry after my trip. They were not used, just opened lol. They were bulk packages in plastic from Costco, and thought maybe there was an issue with the store. After she told me about the family member with dementia that was there, I wonder if it was caused by her. After this I never wanted to use her for pet sitting. I have since found a couple of really great pet sitting companies, which I am really grateful for! I have been using them exclusively since then. I had tried out a few freelance maids, but never had good experiences. I decided to try out her services again. I thought that if I just do not sign any contracts or let her be alone in my place, it will be ok. I felt she did a good job cleaning before. She came over, and while she was cleaning my bathroom it started leaking around my faucet. There had been an ongoing issue with the faucet leaking, but it had stopped after a plumber tightened it several months back. I asked her to not use a toothbrush or abrasion to clean any other places that have caulking. I normally just use alcohol and a towel. I never told her that she was responsible or got upset with her. She then got upset, and used a disrespectful tone to talk to me. I just ignored it. I had also asked her to not use scented dish-soap to clean as I have sensitive skin. She never used these cleaners before when she cleaned. She suggested vinegar instead, and I told her that I had some. She then started cleaning with vinegar. Later on she said that I should not really use vinegar to clean because it can damage things when used longterm. Why would she suggest it then, if she thinks it will cause damage? It seems very passive aggressive. Is she in intensionally trying to damage my things? She then went on about all of these problems in her life. I had asked her about coming everyday part way through the visit, but after the visit was over I just felt drained and gross. It was way too much bad energy. I later see all these brown specs in my toilet. I try to use the toilet brush to remove them. I notice they were lower in the bowl as well where stuff should not stick. I then see that they are divots with rust. I have never had this happen to any toilet in any home I have ever lived in. The toilet is less than 2 years old, and a high end brand. I paid almost 1k to have it installed. She claims she only used dish soap to clean my toilet lol. I believe the damage was intensionally caused by her because she was upset that I asked her to not use a toothbrush to clean my caulking. She could have a very successful business as a housekeeper and pet sitter, if she just acted normal, and did basic things right. Honestly, I am just happy I never have to see her again. I would gladly pay 1k to get this person out of my life, so I guess it was a bargain to have my toilet ruined lol. I have learned my lesson. I am going to stop using freelance maids from now on. I have had too many bad experiences. I am going to instead use a cleaning company, professional organizer, prepared meal service, and a laundry delivery service. I am sure it will cost a more money, but is is worth it knowing that there is a company managing and vetting the employees.

I like the fact that they get done much faster than petsmart. I use to take sharkbait to petsmart and he would be there ALL DAY. and i would feel so bad. he hated going there. But at Fabulous Furs, he's in and out. When they're done, they give you a call to come pick them up. They also give the dogs a bandana each time. However, the only downside is that it's a bit expensive. For a shih-tzu it's $42! ouch, a big dent for a college student with no job! So, the price definitely depends on the dog breed.
