When I walked up to the place the building had two doors like a duplex apartment the first door is an apartment and the second door is a pet salon. When I came to the first door I knocked and a blond haired lady came to the door she seemed nice, but I had a funny feeling about this place. She told me to come to the second door and she would be there. I walked over to the other door and waited and waited then rang the doorbell. She came to the door and said "oh, I thought it was unlocked". Ok, weird. When I walked in the place immediately smelled like cigarette smoke it was very disturbing. The lady quickly took Pocky and said it'll only be 20 mins when on the phone she said 30 mins. All I could hear was my Pocky nonstop crying and this wasn't like any ole cry this was serious. So, I got up to see why he was crying because the lady was clipping Pocky's nails. She was trying to be as gentle as possible, but it wasn't working according to Pocky. Pocky started to cry more because the lady stopped working on him (because she was letting the flea dip soak on him) and started to work on a cat. Now, Pocky hates cats because they are scary looking and cruel to him. The lady immediately stopped early because she couldn't handle Pocky whining and crying. Sometimes it's hard, but I deal with his crying because I know what difficult past that he has been thru. With the death of his sister and him witnessing that. Poor thing, my Pocky deserves way more than that! Nice lady, but we won't be coming back! I can't handle cigarette smoke and have my clothing stanky. The lady charged me a flat $15 for blow dry, flea dip, nail trim, and bath . She said it was only $15, I had $20. She gave me $3.50 back. Not even the correct amount she was supposed to give me $5 back. She said she could run over to Donkey Mexican restaurant to get more money, but the nasty smell of that smoke I felt very uncomfortable and Pocky was too we were ready to go! Won't be back!! Go here off of your own risk!

Our dogs and cats have come home happy every time. Every experience has been phenomenal. So good, in fact, that I have recommended this place to friends and co-workers (who have also been satisfied). The staff here has always been friendly on my visits. I did have to wait a few minutes when I dropped off my dogs this past week, and that was because they were outside with the dogs. (Not a problem at all!) While I don't doubt that some people have had some not-so-great experiences here, I also know that many of the negative reviews center on cost. This place is not cheap. Neither are any other boarding joints that I am aware of. But I have never worried about their condition while I have been away.

When we introduced a brand new puppy into our dog pack, the problems started and kept escalating. Eventually, we started having full out dog fights between our dogs - which wasn't a thing before. It got to the point where it was "send the dogs to training or find them a new home." So I researched the top 3 dog trainers in our area. Triumph K9 training was the one and only business who took the time to call me. Another business emailed me generic info and I never heard back from the other. Pretty shortly after I submitted an inquiry request, I spoke with Shannon on the phone. A free consult was set up and her husband, Eddie, came out to our house. As soon as I met Eddie, I trusted him. I trusted him because my dogs (who are normally pretty protective) were calm around him. Although I didn't want to send my dogs away to training for 4 weeks, I knew they'd be in safe hands. They trained our dogs Shiner (7 yr old Lab/Dane mix) and Roxy (1 yr old Doberman/Dane mix) and they are BRAND NEW dogs. I'm not even kidding. I literally cannot thank them enough. I recommend them to anyone who's looking for a great trainer who is trustworthy and knows what they're doing. They also provide a great home away from home for intensive training that I can tell my dogs miss when they come back home. I (stupidly) left my wallet at home one day and felt completely embarrassed asking Greg if I could pay double the next visit. He said it was no problem. So understanding!
