The dogs consistently come back looking clean, fresh, and well cared for. What really stands out is how patient and gentle the groomers are--especially with our high-anxiety dog. They take their time and make sure the dogs are comfortable, which gives us so much peace of mind. It's clear they truly care about the animals they work with. Took my dog in to get her nails clipped and filed around 1:30 on Saturday. As I have always been told at this place just bring her in no appointment need for on Saturday. The receptionist no we can not take your dog the groomers are working on their last dogs. First the prices went up and did not file the nails last time. I gave them three tries. NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE !!!! They RUINED MY DOG ! I told them to do the same haircut they had in the notes... they DID NOT. I have a Samoyed, you aren't supposed to shave them because their hair may not ever come out the same.... They shaved him today !!! He may never look the same. I will never come back. I could hear my dog barking in the back a lot and I saw one of the groomers vaping by the dogs in the back. My husband spoke to the "partial owner" who didn't even remember taking payment from me 5 min before - how he forgot... I will let you draw your own conclusions. Additionally, when we got home my dog drank his whole bowl of water which leads me to believe they didn't give him ANY water in the FIVE hours he was there. They are unreliable evidently and will not do what you ask them to. Lastly, I reached out to them to speak with another owner and they never contacted me, they did nothing to resolve the issue other than give us our money back. The "partial owner" really didn't seem to care that much that they had potentially ruined my dog's fur forever. I have included before and after pictures. Took my furry companion in for a teeth cleaning and gland cleanse. Staff very friendly and the place was nice and clean. They came to get Lulu and about 10 minutes later she was smelling wonderful. I looked thru the door where the kennels are and they where very clean as well. They have full service grooming. My puppy tried this place for a full grooming service last year. We had a great experience. It was pretty easy to schedule the appointment although they only have limited days open throughout the week. When we arrived at the facility, we met with the groomer and discussed our preference for length, style, and any issues that my puppy might have. They asked us to bring our certification for vaccines, which shows they are legit and responsible. We have been to places where they did not need or even mention bringing vaccine proofs. The groomer was very nice and attentive to my dog. It took only 2 hours for them to text me about picking up my puppy. This was surprising because the other places that I took my dog before took about 5 hours on average. When I picked up my puppy, he seemed happy and his look was close to what I had imagined. The check-out process was straightforward without any hidden fees or extra charges. I did not have to use this service, but I heard from our neighbors that they let the dogs play together in a gated area if they cannot be picked up right away. I am not sure if this is true, but I suppose this could be helpful for parents who need some extra time before the pick up. Since then, we have not gone back to this particular location since we have moved. But we are a loyal fan of this chain groomer and have been to the Phoenix location many times. read more

ZERO stars. My poor guy has blood on his feet and face. Why? My other guy was literally not groomed! I can't believe I paid extra for de-shedding services then came home and with three strokes of my dog brush got an entire ball of hair! It does appear that their nails were trimmed, but not neatly. Instead, they are cracked and jagged. And I don't see evidence of teeth cleaning. I paid and tipped prior to seeing my dogs' results, which should not be standard practice, but it seems it is. Also, the cashier took it upon himself to tell a couple horror stories. One about a husky who was able to let himself out of the back because all of their doors are lever-handled. This is not the first time I've had dogs groomed, and this was the worst I've ever experienced. After contacting the owner and expressing my concerns, I received a call informing me that after I left, they "realized" that not all of the services were performed. But the deshedding supposedly had happened, so I cannot explain that. They literally suggested I take a store credit towards future services. That is not happening. My guys are only 45 and 60 pounds. I don't believe Doggie Daze can handle anything larger than a cat. And if your dog has any energy level, forget it! Go somewhere else. read more

Which I could give them a zero! My five year old small labradoodle has never been given a worse groom/cut. They shaved/chopped so badly that it is hard to explain. Brought her in as a walk-in and David at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable and the facility was clean and spacious. I am not happy to have walked into the establishment hearing someone tell my dog to "shut up" I know that Oakley can be a handful but he's just a puppy and I think that if you work with animals you should know how to handle them and you should know that dogs do in fact bark. Oakley is just very vocal but I don't appreciate someone yelling at him to shut up. I hope that you think twice before bringing your dogs here. They did alright on the haircut I'll give them that, but he was so scared I guess he peed when they tried to file his nails and that explains why he smells like pee now so I have to give him another bath. Took my 7 month old mini bernadoodle for his 3rd ever haircut! They were able to get me in for an appointment same week! When I went in they gave me a tour of the facilities which were so clean and very nice. The staff is very welcoming and kind and they were very patient with my puppy as he gets excited easily. I was able to speak with the lady who does the grooming and she did exactly what I asked! Upon arriving to pick up my dogs I wasn't greeted with a hello but immediately attacked at how bad my dog had "acted out" and for this reason I acted the way I was treated. In 12 years of grooming I have never had my 15 pound ShihTzu have any issues at a groomers, but suddenly your receptionist labeled my dog a attack dog. Maybe you should look into training your staff better. Plus if my dog was acting out why not contact me and let me know rather then continuing with the grooming and charging full price plus and extra fee for my now labeled aggressive dog. Not to mention the fact that I had to touch up my dogs face extensively with no aggressive behavior I might add because of the horrible job your groomer did. Along with your untrained staff it might not have helped that you board animals at your location with yelping and barking coming from the other side causing a stressful situation for my dog to be more stressful. Either way the poor training of your staff in handling dogs and customer service was both the reason for my dog and his owner allegedly "acting out". The kicker was when she went to get my dog after talking her smack I heard her say "Come on handsome". Condescending just like the owners of the business I suppose!!!!! read more

Beware! Do not trust your precious fur babies at Doggie Daze in Gilbert! My five-month-old puppy was injured during his grooming session. He came for grooming perfectly healthy and came home not well at all. He could not walk, hold his head straight, with his eyes blood red. After seeing emergency vets and a veterinarian neurologist it was determined to be a trauma related injury from his grooming session. Instead of addressing this matter as it should have been, the owners try to blame my pup saying he had preexisting issues. What a big lie! Keep your fur babies safe and go somewhere else! read more

I've taken my Mini schnauzer to Doggy Daze since they first opened.The first three times I was very happy! This time I got a new groomer who said my dog had a small mat on her chest and they charged an extra $10.00. I brush my dog daily. I brushed her before I took her in and she was not matted. I tried to talk to the manager and she ignored my claim. She said she had to trust her groomer.( who definitely doesn't know how to groom eyebrows on a schnauzer) I tried to talk to the groomer but he was too busy to come talk with me, so I never got a explanation of what a small mat was. Please be Careful when you go into Doggie Daze since they have new management! Seems like they don't listen to their customers anymore! read more

I found Doggy Daze when looking for a new groomer as I was not very happy with my previous groomer. They have a great new facility in Gilbert and all the staff were excellent. They did a fantastic job on our Golden Retriever, and the price was very reasonable. She's never looked better. I'll definitely be going back to Doggy Daze. read more
