I walked-in to the Market Street Pet Depot this morning to get my 2 fur babies nails cut this morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one greeted us even after we spoke.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once I entered into the grooming salon I asked to get y pups nails filed down. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lady had the nastiest attitude and asked me to step outside while she checked in her customers as if I was not a customer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was the most unprofessional experience as if they did not want my business. I will add that I am black given I just noted they were hosting a Turning Point event back in April wish I had seen that prior because that explains everything. It's a sad time to see the inhumanity on full display. It's unfortunate that I am forced to give a 1 star. read more

We have become regulars here after adopting the breed we so adore. The Hospital: The first time was our saddest one and this place treated us with the utmost respect when having to say goodbye to our beloved Lola. Since that time three years ago, we have been coming here with our other pug pets that we have adopted- not only for food, but for their veterinarian needs as well. The second time was in seeing the hospitals doctor whom "come to find out" was actually the owner! It was a professional & pleasant experience for our senior pug Mo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've been back now numerous times for checkups and vaccine's visits with our newest addition Marvel and we have had nothing but knowledgeable, kind and helpful staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every visit has been very positive for our fury babies and they have been treated so well by all the employees. Note-They do have a long wait list so make sure you call way in advance to get an appointment. If it's an emergency for their hospital they do not have the ability to get your pet seen right away unless you "luck out" and there's a cancellation, but the odds of that happening are very slim. There is not an immediate "emergency" services hospital available here. Store-There's a nice shop adjacent to the hospital that offers many different types of pet products for every type of pet, Including treats, toys and healthcare merchandise to explore. They have a grooming salon, pet boarding and pet adoption program offered here too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Recommend- Highly suggest getting on their monthly newsletter which is sent via email. They send out detailed information to inform customers of their happenings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also provide deals on their products & promotions so sign up for with their rewards program. This will be helpful if you are constantly seeming to purchase pet food (dry) like we do! If so, this just might bring you a free bag after you hit a certain quality! We are gifted that perk with their Nurisource brand. This review is solely for the dog food. Market Street Pet Depot is the closest pet store to us that carries our dog food, a Fromm brand. Reminiscent of an old fashioned Market Street, it offers all of the services your pet needs. The offer pet supplies, toys, grooming, daycare and more. We've been consistently buying our dog food from Market Street since we moved to the area. After the 11th or 12th bag, you get the next one free. We've also gotten a couple of toys and treats from here, but they're a bit pricey. Staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

Decided to try their self bath facilities. It was $18 and included 1h use of the bath tub, "grooming table", shampoo, conditioner, dryer, towels and grooming tools. I found the bath tub too low and uncomfortable for the lhumam bathing the pet. Was also disappoinred to find out the "grooming tools" - brush, furminator, comb were in poor shape ( bent) and dirty. For a place that sells tools, i would expectt them to have good, clean tools available. My biggest disappointment was to.find out they charge $35 to $40 to groom the puppie themselves ( including anal glands and trimming nails). Self bath is certainly not worth it! read more

Took my senior dog back to Pet Depot to wash her up. She is a shy dog and I've never had her professionally groomed. She does well when we go to Pet Depot and I wash her in the self wash. They saw that she was a senior doggie and put the ramp on the tub for her. It's clean and handy and well priced for self wash. WE HAVE THREE DOGS THAT WENT TO THIS LOCATION. This place will rack up charges on your card and not call, text or email you till you owe almost $300 bc your cc expired AND then try to send you to collections. This could've been avoided with a simple call or text. Now they want to try to send us to collections for their mistake, we've checked our texts our voice-mail and our emails and nothing has come up till this notice. This is absolutely ridiculous. I / we understand cards expire and we can owe payments, but for, four months without notice is a shame on them. Again, we have no problem paying for what we signed up for, this is not the problem but the lack of communication is!. Let us know, give us a call and we will make it right. Took my dog to the groomer and they seemingly did a great job. The next day, I was petting my dog and noticed that he had scabs ALL. OVER. HIS. BACK. I have two other dogs and it is definitely not bugs and is from the deshedder brush!!! I am still pulling scabs and dried blood off my poor babes :( I cannot believe how aggressive they were to the point they injured my dog. Do NOT go to the groomers here. Everything else about this store has been fine except my experience with the groomers. I have taken my golden doodle here several times, and I've hated the job they do but it's close to my house so I keep giving it second chances. This last time has pushed me over the edge and I will be taking further action. I took in my beautiful 1-year-old golden doodle f1b to get her haircut. She had some mats so I knew that it would be slightly more than her usual. Firstly, the groomer with the short hair was extremely rude. Smart mouthing me the entire time (and adding random unknown prices to my bill at the end) I brought in a doodle, and came to pick up my dog who now looks like a completely different breed. A bad haircut. That's fine, I was upset but I can live with it. Until I got home and noticed the blood, cuts, and marks all over my dogs head and body. I am extremely unhappy, pissed, sad, and heartbroken. This is a form of animal abuse and it is NOT okay. I have attached pictures for you to see yourself I posted cute pictures of her, but her personality is extremely different. She is insecure, sad, flinchy, jumpy. Her personality has changed significantly and I know that is not normal. I've never had this problem before with any other groomers, and my dog usually does fine with haircuts. Update: It's been two weeks now. The owner made sure to publicly respond to my review but has not had the decency to give me a call back. Truly the WORST customer service I've ever encountered. This facility has now been reported to the arizona animal humane society for animal negligence and abuse. Mehhh..... I prefer this other place down the street, but it's closed for renovations. This is the second time I've used this place and I got there early on a Sunday morning so it wouldn't be busy and I could take my time with my Rottweiler who really hates baths. I think he's a little more calm with the two of us and no other distractions. We had the room to ourselves so that was great, but both aprons that are in there to keep you dry, were ripped. You could not attach it or tie it behind you because the tie was completely ripped off. I brought it to the girls attention at the front because I need an apron when I bathe him or I will come out soaking wet. I can't believe that those were sitting in there and nobody's ever said anything about them not being functional. They have product for you to use, but nothing is labeled. There's a blue one, a purple one, a pink one and a white one. I have no idea what any of them are. I assume the white one is a conditioner but I don't know. I just wish they labeled their products so you knew what they are. It's good in a pinch, but like I said I like the other place better. read more

Second time I've taken my husky here to be deshedded. The first time they did such a fantastic job I took her back! Well it's like they didn't even touch her! I still can brush brushes of hair from her! I wouldn't recommend Pet depot for deshedding your dogs at all! They do a terrible job!!! read more

They lost me as a long time customer and I emailed them to let them know of my frustrations and they could not be bothered to even reply to my concerns. I've seen multiple people rough handle a dog while I stood there and watched through the window. Also another thing. My friend had her bulldog over heat in their salon a few months back. They continued to tell her that they don't have air conditioning in the back room where they keep the dogs..... and they keep the big dryers that produce so much heat back their too and keep the door shut.... We only really go here to get dog food for our dog, but I passed by to take a look at the beta fish for sale. I stood there and examined almost every fish (there aren't many) when I literally see one fish that looks like it's straight up on its death bed. Beta fish ARE NOT supposed to be gray with shriveled fins and sitting at the top of their tank with their mouth above the water trying to get more air. I took a few photos for reference. I have waited a while to do my review on this place as I wanted to try everything out. The Retail/Store I love the products and the dog tags this place offers. It's priced a little high but overall they have Great products unlike other pet stores that have everything and anything. The staff is sweet and are helpful. The Pet Hospital/Vet I can't say enough good things about the Vets here. My golden doodle has seen all three vets at this location and they are all great! Their puppy plan is awesome and they always follow up to check on how my dog is doing. Grooming I have a mini/medium golden doodle he's 22 pounds. The full works was about $75. They did a great job and were able to schedule us pretty quickly. I would go here again. Dog Training The price point is comparable to petsmart and petco I had a coupon for $20 off so I decided to give this a try. The class was fun however I wouldn't recommend this dog training class to anyone. I think this is the only part of the business that could be enhanced. Amy could be a little more hands on. I understand it's a group setting but she isn't hands on at all and the class actually got smaller as time went on so I don't see why that couldn't be accommodated. read more

After a messy but fun day at Cosmo dog park I figured it was time for a bath. I searched for a self serve dog wash and found Pet depot. While I was there I figured I'd get his nails trimmed and his anal gland cleaned. We quickly were helped and they did a great job. The self washing station is complete with towels, brush, shampoo, conditioner, and a dryer. Self wash was nice and high up so you don't have to worry about hurting your back. They have an attachable ramp you can put out for your pup to climb up and in. For the self wash(15), anal gland(10) and nails trimmed (10) cost $35. Also grabbed a goody bag and got some salmon skin treats and beef fillet strips. All treats were 15% off today. Check their website and see what daily deal they have. My dogs fur feels amazing and it was a great experience. Definitely will be going back when I'm in town. read more

Beware!! I paid and TIPPED before seeing my dog. Look at my poor babies leg! The groomer completely messed up and neglected to tell me. I called and asked to speak with someone. I was told a manager would call me back the next day.....still waiting on that call. Our dog's leg is almost completely bald on the left side. The photo we showed and the cut we explained was not obtained at all. Maybe a misconception but to so obviously shave a chunk out of her leg? Big mistake on the groomers part with zero accountability. My advice? Always check your dog's cut before going home. Maybe before and after photos?? We are so disappointed. read more

What an amazing experience! I took my 8 month old rescue pup in for his fist ever grooming appointment and we were both a little nervous. The sweet girl that checked us in was so kind and personable she made us both feel extremely comfortable! Then there is Rachel (our groomer) She is absolutely amazing!! She did a fabulous job and I could tell our little guy was apprehensive to go with her at first but when I came back to get him he almost wanted to stay with her! I made sure to prebook my next appointment to ensure that she is our groomer next time! Not to mention the store is adorable and well stocked with all the goodies, I of course left with a new toy for our guy! Thanks again pet depot! You all surpassed my expectations!! read more
