I had taken my dog here over a year ago. Management has since changed and I will not allow my dog to go here. They will not show you where the dogs are kept and play. The management is extremely rude and not interested in making dog parents feel comfortable. I wonder what they are hiding behind the closed doors. read more

The place is convenient, the hours and staff very accommodating and the staff was mostly very pleasant. This was my first time using Doggy Office and I was in a pinch because my usual day care place is not open in Sunday's. I filled out all their paperwork but could not in good conscience sign one of the disclaimers as it was written. The disclaimer absolved the owner and employees of ANY responsibility whatsoever for injuries to my dog. I understand things happen in group dog situations (every other daycare or overnight kennel has some language absolving it of reasonable injuries that could happen) no problem. I refused to give up the right to hold the owner responsible in the case where the owner or its employees were grossly negligent. In other words if under their care they left the doors to the kennel and the building open and my dog ran out onto 124th street and was struck by a car they would not be responsible. I wrote in the gross negligence exception into their disclaimer but they would not accept it or the dog under those conditions. I see it as telling that they don't care enough or have enough confidence in their staff to allow for a legal standard of care the hold them responsible in the case of gross negligence (not even normal negligence). I won't be bringing my dog back here. read more

I've used The Doggy Office before for short stays for my dog. For example, when I had movers coming to my house, I boarded my dog for a day. When I went on a conference, I've boarded my dog for 2 days. It has been ok. She often comes home with scratches etc... but I felt like that was expected since she is around other dogs. This last time, I boarded her for 1 week and she came back to me sooooo sick. I will never use this place again. She came home with about the same amount of food that we sent her with. We told the staff to free feed her ~4 cups of food twice daily and it was ok to give her snacks and wet food if she didn't eat. She also came home with an ugly infected foot abscess that she wouldn't stop licking and a scabbed elbow. Two days after she came home, she still wasn't eating. We wondered if maybe she picked up a GI virus while there? She refused food and kept trying to go to the bathroom but couldn't. We got her special food from the breeder and she started vomiting. We had to take her to a vet who tried to give us a $600 bill for her GI issues and her foot abscess. BTW her weight was 13lbs down from a weight at the vet only ~1 month earlier. We had to start her on a bland diet and take her to another vet a few days later (another ~$100 bill) and she's now on antibiotics for the next 12 days for the abscess. When I contacted The Doggy Office to ask them why we weren't contacted about the abscess or the feeding issues. They said they had no clue that there were any problems. They had no documented feeding issues or wounds. I'm so sorry that I subjected my poor dog to this place. I will never do it again. read more

Do you want your dog to come home sick and bitten? Looking forward to hundred in vet bills? Go ahead and bring your dog here. Or stand outside at the gas station next door and listen to the crying dogs and a woman screaming her head off at the dogs. My dog went to the day care. At first we just noticed he was coming home dirty.. It happens. But each time it became worse and worse. Then he came home curled up on his bed and wouldn't move. By the next morning he was coughing, eyes running and wouldn't eat. Vet diagnosed a severe upper respiratory infection and pink eye. $200. We called to let them know that the vet said this is extremely contagious and they may want to check the other dogs just to be safe. Instead of asking how he was doing, the manager became extremely defensive. Said no other dogs were sick (yeah right) and its not their fault. MMMMM. Against better judgement, we took him back after the vet gave the all clear. Hubby went to pick him up. He paid, then our pup was brought out. They handed him the leash and high tailed it back. My dog has bite marks on his face, his nose was torn and dripping blood. When confronted, we were told he was bitten while playing. They never called to tell us he was injured and couldn't tell me what time this happened. Back to the vet. We were given antibiotics (oral and topical) and also given advice. To not return there. This vet has seen numerous dogs with infections, cuts and bites. All from this location. My husband called since the manager wasn't in the building. Again were told its not their fault. Said its a high volume facility and they can't keep an eye on every dog. I called back to see what is going on. Immediately the manager told me that yes she spoke with my husband, and he was rude. Are you kidding me? First off, this woman need customer service training. She also gave me the same crap that its a high volume (150+ dogs a day), they clean 3 times a day, and maybe this isn't for us. You are right! read more

I've been going to Doggy Office since they opened their first office. This was the third place we we to because of quality issued with other places. I've used them for daycare, grooming (mostly nails), boarding, and once for play date on Saturday. My dog can't wait to get out of the car to go inside -- most of his "coworkers" are already inside. When I pick him up at the end of the day he just crashes in his bed and sleeps. read more

We took our dog here for boarding and had a good experience, we will continue to use the Doggy Office in Butler for boarding. Our dog is a rescued, high energy, American Pit Bull Terrier who is somewhat fearful of new people. I was worried about boarding her, but we received a friend's recommendation for The Doggy Office and decided to try it. We were unorganized and very last-minute about finding a place, and we were thankful that The Doggy Office took our dog and her stay at the facility was no problem at all. Now we have a valuable resource for the times when our dog cannot travel with us, and we appreciate it so much. read more

Cannot say enough nice things about this place and the caring staff. Henry is always super excited to come in and the staff all greet him by name. He is always relaxed here and, trust me, with our dog, that's no easy thing. read more

Front desk was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dog food they were selling there. Both of my dogs got their nails trimmed and glands expressed. They did a great job (nails were cut nice and short) and the price is the best around after doing a lot of research!!! It seemed like every other dog coming in for daycare was SO excited to walk into the building!! That's a good sign in my book! I'll be back again! read more

Picked up my 2 dogs from a stay over the weekend and 1 has 2 big gashes on his eye and the other dog has a big scabbed up scratch on his belly. No mention of the latter at pick up time. When confronted and asked what happened, the response was "they were playing rough". These gashes and scratches are not "rough play" but more like another dog was viscous and attacked the other dogs. After messaging them with the want of more information, I was told "we gave you all the information we are sorry you don't like it" then blocked on Facebook. Don't bring your dogs here as the workers don't do their job of watching over the dogs. Poor customer service, poor work ethic. read more

I took my dog here a for grooming they cut her behind the ear and they cut one of her nails so short it was bleeding. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I put my toddler in her car seat and noticed that she was bleeding all over my car! I called to let them know that they should always let customers know when that happens... Just be careful with the grooming. I feel like experienced, trained groomers shouldn't have issues with cutting nails... especially with my docile dog. read more

This place is great!! After a terrible experience with central bark in Sussex we were looking for a fun and welcoming doggy daycare for our 2 Scotties. We have found it here -clean and modern facilities, super nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend! read more

Ive been taking my dog to Doggy Office for almost six years. He LOVES it! The staff are really nice and love and care about each of the dogs. He goes for baths and nail trims there regularly too and comes out looking and smelling great. Their five hour half day is great and they are very flexible. I highly recommend them! read more

My dog has been going here for a year now. She has been bitten twice by other dogs. The latest injury resulted in 7 stitches and part of her left ear being removed. The manager and staff informed me that it was not my dog that was the aggressive one. They do not offer compensation for these injuries nor will the other aggressive dog be removed from any play group. They will only notify the dogs owner. Also you can not speak to the owner of the company with feedback only the manager who relays this information. I wanted to inform the owner of the company about the situation myself and let her know about the other dog and my concern. I was informed that the manager was made aware of the incident but did not wish to speak to me. read more

Our dog, Buckley, loves going to Doggy Office. The staff is very thoughtful - I have our young child in tow whenever I pick up our pup and the staff always offers to walk our dog to the car instead of leaving me with a baby carseat and a dog to carry. They have great hours and really reasonable rates! :) read more
