Ask for Tisa at the bar. She's incredible, timely, and always has a smile. Great happy hour.

We witnessed one of the staff members drop a cup and pick up and use that same cup. We asked for boneless and they brought out bone in. Our fried shrimps came out cold. They added items on my bill had to get them to remove items twice. & they ended up over charging me with ranch. CHECK your receipt.

My friends and I were excited to try BreWingZs when we went last Friday, but my first impression…read morewas a little mixed. As we walked up, I noticed the glowing sign above the entrance seemed to be missing a few crucial letters. Specifically, the 'E' and the 'W' were unlit, giving me the feeling that the restaurant might be disgusting. As we got seated, our waiter quickly came and was very attentive for the entirety of the meal. They checked on us frequently without hovering, and really made the dining experience enjoyable. The ratings on the food were very mixed. Overall, I felt the food was a little overpriced for some portions. We ordered a few starters, and the majority of the appetizers were decently sized and sharable, which helped justify the cost. The Boneless Wings, on the other hand, were a massive disappointment. We ordered the Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper boneless wings, and the portion size was shockingly small for the price. Worse than the size was the spread of the seasoning. It was very inconsistent. It seemed like the entire shaker of Parmesan garlic powder was dumped onto one single wing, while the other four were completely naked. It made for a very messy and flavorless experience for most of the dish. Checking out the entrees, we had one winner and one total loser. The Mighty Mushroom Burger was perfectly cooked and satisfied the craving for a solid, savory patty. I highly recommend getting that! Unfortunately, the Shrimp Tacos we ordered were terrible. The shrimp was really oversalted, and I could only manage a bite or two before I had to stop. The shrimp was definitely not fresh and completely ruined the dish. BreWingZs has great employees and can clearly craft a good burger, but the inconsistency in the kitchen (especially with the disastrous boneless wings and the truly awful shrimp tacos) makes it hard to justify the slightly high prices. They need to figure out their quality control before I can recommend it.

This has to be one of our favorite spots to come to. The ambiance is everything you want and more…read more You order at the entrance, then go and find a table. Menu is vast, with lots of options including daily specials and happy hour. We've tried most on the menu and everything has been delicious. The one note maybe is that the boiled regular crawfish was heavy on the salt/ seasoning. Otherwise the combo favorite is easily the favorite option with fried battered catfish and shrimp along with perfectly seasoned fries. Each table has ketchup, hot sauce, and their own crawfish seasoning. The staff and service are incredible, always super friend, speedy, and knowledgeable. They have a small area outside for families with little kids to play in. Centered is a tetherball set up along with a small toddler play set and a life size connect 4. There is a bar area, outdoor and indoor seating. We've come when there is a live band playing. Overall, great spot. Highly recommend.

The portion sizes did not match the price, and the overall experience was disappointing. I eat at the Lake Charles location often and have never had these issues. The food, service, and value there are ten times better. When I expressed my concerns and asked for a refund, the situation escalated unnecessarily, and the police were called instead of addressing a customer complaint. As a longtime customer, I found that extremely disappointing.

We were also informed that they stop serving food at 9:30, so pretty much to order soon. Needless to say I was so disappointed and ready to leave. But it being so late, sucked it up. Came here for the sword fish that apparently they no longer serve as their menu had changed. After ordering, I did voice my concerns about the loud music and thankfully they changed it. I was able to enjoy my late night dinner with my husband. We ordered the Kataifi shrimp as an appetizer. They were medium sized served with a spicy tangy sauce. They were very delicious. For my main course I ordered the American red snapper which was also a unique dish as it was served on a corn husk with rice and beans. 3 whole crawfish, a corn and cold salsa verde sauce on the side of the dish. All was delicious except they should have served the salsa verde sauce warm instead of cold. It was still a delicious dish. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. It was served with a side of green beans, puréed potatoes with a foie gras gravy. They have a descent drink menu. I ordered the Friendswood 75 which was a little too sweet for my liking and my husband ordered the Gin and tonic. They didn't have Sapphire so he opted for the Tanqueray. Overall, our meal was delicious and our server Sandy was nice.

The drinks were really good. The food was just okay and way overpriced. I would go back for drinks.read more
