I was a bit hesitant to leave my sweet girl, as she can sometimes be reactive with other dogs. From the moment I walked into the salon, I felt reassured. I was greeted by two kind, professional people who took such thoughtful care of her. When they realized she would need to be shaved due to the severity of the sap and matting, they paused and made sure to get my approval before proceeding, which I really appreciated. They took excellent care of her, and I was absolutely thrilled to bring home a clean, beautifully trimmed dog. All of the mats and sap were gone--she looked white, fresh, and so comfortable. I was able to get an appointment the next week. The ladies did an amazing job ! Amazing ! Grooming a wiggly 6 pound dog is not an easy task !! How they were able to clip her nails is beyond me. Other grooming businesses lightly file my dog's nails (even when I add nail clipping to my dog's grooming service), leaving a task for me to do at home. I was delighted that Uncle Nick's did a complete grooming ! Uncle Nick's is a very clean and safe environment for multiple dogs "in the house". I always tip 20% and try to be as accommodating to their schedule as possible since they aren't open late or on the weekends. This last grooming session, I asked the groomer for an overall trim and to make sure to get his face. I paid $140 including tip. Now that a week has gone by and his hair is laying more flat, it is much more noticeable that they did not take enough off his face or body. When I reached out to see if I could bring him in to have them trim it shorter, they said that they only trimmed his face (which is still too long) and not his body and said I could schedule another cut for an additional $90-$110 because their policy is that they will only do corrections within 48 hours of the appointment. Essentially asking me to pay $250 for their error because their groomer misunderstood/misheard my request. I'm disgusted by the lack of customer service and greed by a local business. I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else that cares more about customer satisfaction and the animals than their bottom line. Do better Adore.

The groomer wasn't okay with that, & literally got in the salon truck & LEFT. Without confirming why they were leaving!! I used to get my boys groomed at petsmart back at home so I was worried on the day of when I hadn't heard anything about an appointment confirmation, but I texted and we were still good to go. When I arrived, she was still working with a few other clients so we waited for a bit but it was no problem. She was pretty quiet when I dropped them off but when I picked them up she opened up a bit and talked to me about my boys and other clients she has. I read great reviews about how she treats her pups and I saw that when I picked mine back up. They looked great, might I add!! I'm glad I found a place that grooms well AND cares about their clients. It's hard to find that sometimes and you don't want to be dropping your pups off just anywhere. She's got lots of award ribbons hung up that just proves she does a great job.
