Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting helped me to actually relax on my vacation this year! I have a cat that…read moredoes NOT kennel well, and another that is special needs. When my yearly, 10-day vacation came around this year, I looked into finding a pet sitting service that would come to the house so that I didn't have to put my cats through the stress of the kennel. I found Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting online and set up a meet-and-greet. Lindsay and Julie came to the house and were so friendly, professional (and punctual!), and obviously cat-lovers. I am a super anxious/paranoid cat mom and just the meet-and-greet alone made me actually feel comfortable with leaving the cats. While I was away, I got text message updates on the cats (and some pictures) during every single scheduled visit. The update let me know that they were okay, eating well, got their meds, etc. I never had to worry about the cats for the entirety of my vacation. When I finally arrived home, the cats were happy and healthy as if I had never left. My mail had been collected and my plants taken care of too. I was also left written report cards for every single visit by the sitter that went over each visit in greater detail. It is safe to say that I will be using Fussy Gussy Pet Sitting in the future. Your pets will be well taken care of and your home secure. They are clearly animal lovers and professionals. The services are incredibly affordable too- but being able to actually relax and not worry about the cats is priceless. I recommend!!

We've been using Love Those Paws since 2015 to watch our cockatiels when we go on vacation. It is…read moremuch less expensive than boarding them at the vet and less stressful for the animals. The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

Despite me typing up a whole instruction sheet, he insisted on walking through again just to be sure (which is very reassuring). The actual pet sitting was spectacular. The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

When she was done her coworker informed her she had another tour. She pouted because she said she had a sore throat. They paged a male employee. Are several minutes he came in from out front. They told him they needed him to do a tour. He made an exasperated noise and said he didn't want to. I stepped up and said since our business wasn't a priority, we would take it elsewhere. If they couldn't be bothered to give us a tour that they invited us to take, how would they treat our dogs. We could not believe we were treated so poorly.

They generally can get you an appt next day. The bad: 1. My pet has been seen here within the past 6 months. I called to get a simple flea and tick med refill. We are up to date on the heart worm testing that had been performed here. The receptionist told me I could not get the med filled because it is state law to be up to date on rabies vaccination to get flea and tick medicines prescribed. My pet did not have a rabies vaccine on file at the first visit, when they prescribed me a 6 month dose. They did not tell me at the time that a stipulation to refill would be to have proof of rabies vaccine. Poor communication to me, and gave me misinformation because it is not State law, but instead their individual policy for this company that they must have proof of rabies to prescribe anything else to you. I appreciate that the medical director did call me back same day and listened to my concerns. They filled the med as a one off, but it was very disheartening to have to jump through hoops to get a preventative care medicine that other vets would readily give because all that is actually required by law is a valid vet-client relationship which, for most vets, means they have examined your pet within the past year. 2. We had cytology sent away for my dogs lump. The vet called to discuss the results and said that not enough sample had been collected, but she was confident it was a lipoma. This seemed to be an error in collecting the sample, but when discussing with the medical director it was told to me that this was another miscommunication. It was actually deemed a lipoma per the lab. 3. We brought our 4 month old, 4 pound kitten is for pre-surgical labs for her spay. They said she was too unruly and gave us meds to make her calmer. We came back with her medicated and they were still unable to get a blood sample. This is not a feral cat, she is a well domesticated cat we have bottle fed since 4 weeks old. The vet that performed her spay was able to get bloodwork without pre-meds. Unfortunately too much "bad" outweigh the "good" for us to return here.

Somehow the wife found Loinhart and she convinced me to come to interview Linda, the owner with her. When Linda told me she's been training dogs for over 25 years, I asked her how much, she swiped my credit card and I left the dog with her. I picked the dog up 10 weeks later. He learned 10 words. And he learned them well! Now the dog is 20 months old and is unbelievably and extremely well behaved. I attribute Leo the dog's manners and attention and calmness and even his health to the 10 weeks that he spent being trained there. If you want a really well behaved dog I highly recommend this lady. She has some funny rules like don't come inside her facility until you're called but if you listen to her, she won't disappoint you. Now 20 months later, the older the dog gets the better he behaves. It's unbelievable how the 10 words he knows takes care of every situation that the dog gets into that needs correcting. Tell her Yasmin's husband recommended her.

To top it off, Dan actually let me know that I had overpaid them and said that he would credit my account for a future vacation - now that, my friends, is honesty. As far as I'm concerned, they can keep that money as a tip, because they surely deserve it. I am so glad that I selected Dog Day Afternoon as my pet sitting provider. As you can see by the other reviews, they're unmatched in both care and customer service.
