To celebrate my pup Violet's 10th birthday, I decided to memorialize with a cake from Dogs-N-Donuts. Online ordering was super easy and pricing was excellent for homemade doggie treats. Pick up of the cake later in the week was super easy, the staff very friendly and customer service centric. The inside of the shop is really cute, chock full of wonderful and unique dog treats! Adorable little shop catering all things dog! I ordered a birthday cake for our family dog Luigi. The online order was fairly straightforward so I knew exactly what to expect. My husband picked it up for me and he remarked that everyone was super friendly and well aware that Luigi's owner was going to come by and pick up his cake. I love this cute little doggie bake shop. $0.75 per ounce gets you thoughtfully and carefully prepared dog biscuits in a wide variety of flavor combinations (8ish, if I recall correctly). From pumpkin to peanut butter, to apple cinnamon, they have a flavor to treat your pup with. My dog loves them all (duh). They also make doggy donuts, which look pretty good, but my pup is a small guy with belly issues so we haven't tried such a large treat yet (the smaller treats have never upset his belly, as an fyi). But we are definitely going to soon, and their prices are so good, that we've decided he's getting his birthday cake from Dogs-N-Donuts too. They have a couple of different sizes, and they're made to order (I think with 24 hour notice). They look adorable! We haven't tried any of the human food, but the coffee is very reasonably priced, and the human donuts, while on the small side, look decent enough. The staff is always very friendly and I like the atmosphere in their little shop. I tend to visit a business a minimum of 5 times before I write a review when I can. Well every visit here has been 5 stars and above!! Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They provide CLEAR instructions on anything that has to be refrigerated, and they never make me feel "dumb" for asking questions. My fur girls LOVE everything from here, and looking at the ingredients I am comfortable treating them on a regular basis. The store had some speciality items for Easter and those were a huge hit with my fur nieces and nephews along with my girls. If you haven't stopped in here yet do it. Super happy a business like this exists! It was my baby girl's 11th birthday and wanted to do something really special for her and treat her to something good because she's the best girl ever! I found Dogs-N-Donuts a while ago but had never been. Placed an order the night before her birthday and had a super busy day the day of pick up. The owner was really accommodating she had the cake prepared for us before the scheduled pick up time. Special thanks to her for taking care of us! I stumbled across this little place the other day when I was on my way to the UPS store. My curiosity was piqued and I went into. When you walk in, there's a variety of fresh treats in little bins to your right, which I immediately went over to. I put a few of each type in a little brown bag and headed to the counter. Not only do they offer donuts for people, but for dogs as well. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful and put the two doggy donuts in with my other treats. I can't remember exactly how much it came to, but it was between $6-$9 range for about 10 dog biscuits and the two dog donuts. Not exactly cheap but definitely a nice treat for anyone who wants to give their four legged fur babies a nice surprise. It's a very cute idea. I am not sure how busy it is because I went in the afternoon and it was just us. I got my dogs 2 of each mini donuts and they seemed to like them. Even my great dane who is pretty picky eat them. She didn't like it at first, but I kept giving it to her and she finally ate it. They doggie donuts are very cute. One of them had sprinkles on it. The other a strawberry frosting. I got my two kids donuts and they didn't like them at all. We had lunch right before going there, otherwise I would have tried them. I was SO excited to find a place I could get a dog cake for my girl this year! The reviews were great so I ordered her cake. It was beautiful when I picked it up and we planned on using it for her party the next day. Aware of this, the woman told me I can leave it on the counter for 24 hours and after that it can be refrigerated but that the frosting may crinkle. There were no discussions about storage of the cake beyond that. I stored it on the counter (my house overnight is set to 74 degrees) as instructed and the next day when I opened the box, the cake was completely ruined. The decoration had melted and the print bled into the frosting (see pictures). I called the bakery and spoke with the woman who made the cake. She proceeded to tell me that the cake cannot be store with the lid closed. It's extremely frustrating because nobody told me that when I picked it up and it wasn't included in the storage instructions on the cake box. I was so excited about having a cake for her this year and the cakes are really cute when you pick them up. Just make sure if you're not using it right away to store it with the box lid open or you're going to end up in my position. I am so disappointed with the outcome of this experience. UPDATE: I do appreciate the owner's prompt reply and offer to make another cake which is why I raised my review from 2 to 4 stars. However, to be clear, there was NEVER any conversation that took place about ventilation or humidity and it wasn't humid in Tucson that day anyway. It seemed like she had a lot going on with phone calls and other stuff when I picked up the cake so I can see that disrupting the flow of the normal exchange. While I appreciate the offer to make another cake, I don't see much value in doing so because it was for the party that has already passed. To the dogs, it all tastes the same and mine continue to enjoy it. I like to support small businesses so I hope they incorporate my experience into improving their storage instructions so no future customers end up with a similar experience. read more

Love this place so much! My dog loves the donuts (obviously) and my son loves going in and looking at all the different kinds to pick out a special one for his pup. My son also has dairy and egg allergies, so we love this spot even more because he can get a safe, delicious donut of his own. The human donuts are vegan and made with simple, wholesome ingredients (all listed on the containers), so I never feel guilty about eating them or giving them to my son. It was our Koda's first birthday and we wanted to commemorate it by having a birthday party! We looked around and most cakes were made it a ton of meat, which is fine, but they would just look ugly and have pigs feet or chicken feet on top. Came here because I needed change for my groomer at Pet Smart next-door. I came in with the intent of buying my dog some treats and found out that there's treats for humans too. my dog didn't care for the mini donuts only because he prefers soft treats. However I tried the maple donut and it is unreal. I'm originally not a fan of desserts because they are too sweet for me but these donuts were like cake and lightly sweetened to perfection. I came back the next day to get some more and figured I could freeze them. Unfortunately they didn't have any more maple flavored but I was able to purchase the blueberry, chocolate, and vanilla donuts. I haven't had a chance to try them but I'm sure they are delightful. Also I don't know the young lady's name at the front but she is the sweetest and mentioned if I ever want to order a dozen of the maple that I am able to call the day before and they can separate the donuts and frosting for freezing purposes. Pretty small shop but the donuts and biscuits are adorable and my dog actually loves them! They have great flavors and a good variety and even treats for animals with special needs like grain free. I have been meaning to try this place for a while now. Finally I went to get a Christmas gift for my puppies to share. When I got there, I found nothing wrong, but I wasn't impressed either. There were not many selections for anything. They have 3 sizes of donuts for dogs, some already prepackaged and some that you can purchase separately. They had a few toys and a few selections for humans. Other than that, there basically was only empty space. They did have a board up that explained how to order dog cakes, but no displays or pictures of what they look like. I came here looking for CBD treats for my dog. While the. CBD treats where pretty expensive, (overpriced in my opinion) the rest of the treats where great. At $0.75 a OZ you really cant beat it.
