We were in a really tight spot - we were scheduled to go to Italy for a week, and one of our cats…read morehad just gotten quite ill and would need medication twice daily, which we felt would be too much to ask of a friend to try to administer. We got Stephanie's contact info from our vet, for whom she worked before starting her business. She got right back to me on the same day and asked to come over and meet the cats and get to know the layout of our apartment, which put me very much at ease. She recognizes that every pet is different, and it's important to get to know them and learn about them from their owners before trying to take care of them. She was also very respectful of our cats' behavior and didn't try to pressure them into interacting, and was familiar enough with the medications she'd be administering to recognize when it would be better to skip a dose than to freak out our sick cat further. By the end of the week, he was feeling MUCH better and had even come out for playtime, and our shyer cat - who comes out for almost nobody except us - had come out to visit and play as well! I can say all of this because she left us detailed, twice-daily notes as to her visits, and responded to texts as well (even with a six-hour time difference). When we got back, they were both bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and happy to see us, which tells me that they were glad to have her around. If we go out of town for a similar length of time (or even shorter, potentially), we will absolutely be asking Stephanie to take care of them again. Her pricing structure was also very reasonable (especially for the care we needed), and she broke down each and every cost for us before we signed the contract. I would absolutely recommend her to any and all anxious pet parents who are leaving town, or even if you just need somebody who's great with animals to look in on your furry friends and make sure they're fed and watered and happy. Let me tell u.. If u need pet sitting USE THEM!! Tiffany is a good friend but treated this like a job separate from our friendship. The pups stayed on schedule, had walks, lots of cuddling. I got pics & updates. She stripped my bed and put on new sheets and pillow cases and made the bed beautifully! She folded all blankets (offered to wash them all but I stopped her OCD lol!) picked up all toys and the house was SO CLEAN! It made coming home stress free. Whether u need a pet walked, let out, boarding, or overnights at ure house USE THEM!! We also used them daily the 1st year of Gia's life. Let me tell you they were saints. Gia peed in her crate almost daily. They would clean the crate, clean her then walk them both without complaint. We asked Gia be hand fed her lunch (we were teaching her to take food gently as well as practice small commands like "sit" & "stay" ) well she did that too (I have security cameras that no one can see and I saw her doing every single thing I asked of her) I felt like I hit some kind of doggy jackpot!! They are the reason I can go out late, go on vacation, know if there's an emergency they will handle it and I never have to stress! I also recommended them to my SIL. A older friend of hers was standing beside in a hospice as his wife was dying. He knew it would be a week or so and HATED leaving her bedside but had a dog at home. My SIL contacted them (Pecora) and explained his dilemma. They moved things, worked extra hours and gave the man updates on his dog so he could stay by his wife and focus on her. He later mentioned that they were a godsend. He would never have forgiven himself if he left and she passed but because of Pecora Pet that wasn't going to be a worry. Apparently, instead of addressing the issue, they've chosen to penalize me for speaking up. Now I'm unable to book appointments online at Petco at all. When I called for clarification, the manager told me that because I complained previously, I'm no longer allowed to bring my dog there. On top of that, I can't even schedule appointments at any Petco location. This is completely unreasonable and unacceptable. Customers should not be punished for raising legitimate concerns about the service they receive.
