Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. In the past, they've only used our leash to bring them back and forth to the front and not during grooming. However, today they decided to use our leash during the grooming process and he bit through it. I then verified that my warning about the leash was never communicated to the staff. The owner was then called and they stated, "nothing can be done." One of the employees could tell I was frustrated and then offered one of their grooming leashes which is for a small dog and would not be appropriate for our 90 pound GSD. I just thought it was interesting that "nothing could be done" for a customer that has been going there for years and has used both their boarding and grooming services without any prior issues, has referred plenty of customers to their business, and made sure to warn them prior to the appointment but the staff failed to pass the message along.

This definitely gave me a lot of peace of mind to be able to see how my pup was doing and interacting with the other dogs. From 12 PM to 2 PM, the cameras are off for nap time. When I went to pick him up, they gave me a little report card with his mood, the new dog friends he made, and a brief overview on how he did. I definitely think that this is good for dog socialization. Regarding the price, to board your dog it's $69 a night. They have recently changed their system to involve a reservation system due to high demand, but honestly we have never had an issue getting our dog in on a day that we needed him to. They will give your dog a meal if you bring it with your dog. One note, it's best to remove your dogs collar before dropping off, to minimize the risk that they will forget to give you the collar back at pick up. In fact I think under the new system they request this specifically since Covid started.

The prices are reasonable in comparison to boarding since you only say for the days they come visit. You can pay online or pay the petsitter.
