Pleasantville ran every test possible, but didn't check for pancreatitis until I already picked him up... I left him there for several hours for tests. What concerning is, it's said--all over the internet--that since pistachios is a high fat food, it can cause pancreatitis, so why didn't they check for it right away? I paid $765, and still needed to take my Pom to another vet to get him the antibiotic and subcutaneous fluids he needed, as I found out later that Pleasantville also didn't have the necessary antibiotic in-house. Don't waste your money or your sick pet's time at Pleasantville.

Meanwhile, Shannon's assured me that they had a tub that would accommodate my older, larger dog who desires comfort at all times. It was easy to get an appointment and they were clear about their processes and rules. They were ready for my dog on time and he was sparkling clean and ready to go an hour later. The cost was good for a short haired dog that doesn't need a lot of fussy clipping or styling. He told me on the ride home that he liked it there and everyone was nice to him, so I will gladly come here again when he needs his next bath and groom.

Short version: My friend went to this company and Christian…read morethe only cat groomer as of now, cut both sides of my cat's whiskers, shaved her skin on both of her thighs leaving cuts and wounds, left her smelling like pee, overcharged me, was over an hour late, and the business was fully willing to accept my money despite the horrific condition they left my cat in until I called. Although I received a full refund, the manager Henry refused to believe me regarding my cat's docile temperament and could not answer anything regarding what happened when he wanted to call about it in the first place. Situation: Appointment was set at 10am, got a text day of saying they arrive within 30 minutes. No communication until I text at 10:50am, where I eventually finally meet the groomer at 11:36am. I asked Christian for a comb cut, with pictures shown. Asked to have my cat Cookie's hind thighs and tummy shaved "closer to the skin," with her chest, tail and body trimmed/cleaned up. I was then given Cookie back with BOTH sides of her whiskers shaved off, an attempted shaved head, body shaved all over as short as possible, and with both thighs having gashes and wounds from a razor. I was charged for matting despite informing the groomer that she has no matting since I took her to the vet to remove them. Henry instantly gave me a refund once requested, and we eventually talked further about the situation. I explained cookie is very docile, submissive and easy to work with. No issues with previous groomers or vets, and had a brand new vet shave her tummy where I was told it was like working on an unconscious cat with how sweet and docile she is not even a month ago. I said this to express my concern with how Christian could have been treating animals in the van. He refused to believe me, and disregarded that concern and told me she lunged at Christian. He only apologized that the "cut was not up to my standard," and said that "irritation" should not happen, but that cats are difficult and act differently away from their owners. Again, my cat is 7 and has had a different groomer and many vets over the years. She is NOT aggressive. zero complaints or issues before this, where I have only been told she's sweet/easy. I will not be coming back again, and suggest others don't go here.

He got to play with sprinklers, enjoy one-on-one time with staff, cuddle during story time, and even have chicken and rice for dinner -- talk about VIP treatment! That being said friendship is friendship and business is business. My good friend Tiffany Pecora and her mom Judy Baker Pecora own Pecora's Pet Care, LLC. Tiff took care of D&G while we were away. Let me tell u.. If u need pet sitting USE THEM!! Tiffany is a good friend but treated this like a job separate from our friendship. The pups stayed on schedule, had walks, lots of cuddling. I got pics & updates. She stripped my bed and put on new sheets and pillow cases and made the bed beautifully! She folded all blankets (offered to wash them all but I stopped her OCD lol!) picked up all toys and the house was SO CLEAN! It made coming home stress free. Whether u need a pet walked, let out, boarding, or overnights at ure house USE THEM!! We also used them daily the 1st year of Gia's life. Let me tell you they were saints. Gia peed in her crate almost daily. They would clean the crate, clean her then walk them both without complaint. We asked Gia be hand fed her lunch (we were teaching her to take food gently as well as practice small commands like "sit" & "stay" ) well she did that too (I have security cameras that no one can see and I saw her doing every single thing I asked of her) I felt like I hit some kind of doggy jackpot!! They are the reason I can go out late, go on vacation, know if there's an emergency they will handle it and I never have to stress! I also recommended them to my SIL. A older friend of hers was standing beside in a hospice as his wife was dying. He knew it would be a week or so and HATED leaving her bedside but had a dog at home. My SIL contacted them (Pecora) and explained his dilemma. They moved things, worked extra hours and gave the man updates on his dog so he could stay by his wife and focus on her. He later mentioned that they were a godsend. He would never have forgiven himself if he left and she passed but because of Pecora Pet that wasn't going to be a worry. I swear you will rest easy while away and when u return!
