Overall the layout makes sense and it's easier for me to bring the kids here than pay full price at B&N down the street and the experience is pretty comparable. I also like that you can call them and ask that they hold a book for you- great for Moms running low on time who need to get a book for their kids school project or required reading (speaking from experience here). The only con I will mention is what others have mentioned as well. Don't come here with books to sell assuming you'll get a lot of money for them. Come here with the books you were going to donate anyways. I do wish they had a better trade in program.

Cynthia on the register helped me set up a rewards account and explained to me how it worked. The baristas in the cafe are absolutely charming and kind. The store itself is very clean and well-organized, but it doesn't have a huge selection of used…read morebooks for my taste. It is also a little hard to shop here -- it's not always clear what is new and what is used. There were new-looking books in with clearly used books but not everything had a price on it so it was hard to know what I was finding. Otherwise, the sections were clearly labeled and the books were in almost perfect alphabetical order. I can see how this place can establish itself as a local hangout for bibliophiles, attending all the hosted book club meetings. It just isn't a place I will seek out to go shopping at again.
