We hired Dogwood Moving to help unload our pod in Wake Forest and they were fast and efficient. They sent 3 movers for a 9x9x16 pod and only spent 1.5 hours unloading. They were even able to unload our upright piano for an additional $50 charge - super reasonable. They were very professional, fast, and communicative from the very beginning. Tip: Fridays and Saturdays are going to be more expensive because of weekend rates. Monday - Thursdays will be cheaper. read more

I had to pay for 3 men, but it didn't make the move go faster. They all 3 stuck together, and no one worked independently. They would wait for each other, so I really paid more for this size move than I should have. They didn't shrink wrap upholstered furniture so that the cushions wouldn't have to be handled by sweaty arms and hands. This was disappointing to me , having experienced a better way. The wood furniture was not padded enough, so there were scratches. read more

I came upon them through a google search for movers in the area. When I called I got a professional and understanding person on the phone. He was very helpful and upfront with the pricing process. I received text messages on their arrival time, I was packed but not enough because of how fast I had to get moved. The guys came in asked to view the items I wanted to move and they got to work! Moved from Cary to Brier Creek earlier this month and Dogwood was highly recommended. I sent them an email and let them know how many items I needed moved and the size of my apartment. They quoted me a fee and also let me know because of the apartment complex I lived in there would be a 10% discount. They were super flexible about changing the date and time as my move in date changed. And they were flexible about the move in location as this changed as well. The day of my move in, I was told they would come between 12pm-4pm and they came about 2pm to my apartment. Unfortunately I was over at my new apartment, but the staff waited and I arrived as quickly as I could. Kyle greeted me and they were able to back up my items and then unpack them in less than two hours. Kyle kept me updated and was professional. They asked me where I wanted my new furniture and they took care of it! Minus one star for some of my items being dragged and dropped. Way too slow. This is the problem with charging an hourly flat rate. The slower the movers move, the more the company makes. The move should have taken about 4 1/2 hours bit took closer to 6 hours. Lots of side chatter too. read more

We recently used Dogwood Moving to pack our home and move to a new house. The price was not cheap, but it was in line with the quotes we received from other companies for this move, so their prices were similar to other companies in the area. Jourdain was our team lead for our move. The rest of the crew was Shadeek, Grant, Kyle, Yazan, and Pat E. Jourdain was an excellent leader, coordinator, and communicator. He and the rest of the team were so kind, respectful, careful, asked questions when necessary, energetic, and enjoyable to be around. The team seemed on the younger side, but they were much more mature than many older people I have worked with before. We even had to change some things at the last minute that needed to be packed and moved, but they still came in the range of their estimated budget despite this.
