Dogwood Moving Company is exceptional. They helped me move on May 25th, 2022. They blew all of my expectations out of the water, and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with them. I've moved what feels like a million times in my life. I've always done it myself out of fear that moving companies are exorbitantly expensive or don't treat your belongings with as much care as an owner might. This past month I decided to hire a moving company due to a very last-minute move in combination with just having started a new job, and I was nervous about juggling both at the same time. Dogwood allayed all of my fears and misconceptions. Their rates are super reasonable, customer service is top-notch, and the movers were simply amazing. Scheduling was easy and straightforward through the website and they were incredibly responsive to any questions I had. They provided a wealth of information on how to best prepare for the move and clearly communicated how the entire process worked. Just a few days before I was scheduled to move I caught the flu and they went out of their way to accommodate me in rescheduling. On the day of the move my team called and gave me a 30 min heads up that they were on their way and arrived right on schedule. John S., Matt F., and Jack B. were outstanding. They were friendly, kind, and professional. They let me know their plan of action and handled everything with the utmost care. I was blown away by their efficiency. It seemed like the entire apartment had been organized and loaded before I even turned around. The unload was as smooth even though they had to navigate a fairly steep driveway and a narrow staircase. I am so grateful to John, Matt, and Jack for all of their hard work. Without question, these guys are exceptional! As a former Controller of a large logistics company, I gave pause to giving the job of moving us to one of those large companies -- I'm glad I didn't! Ryan, their owner and key supervisor came for a face to face view of the 25+ years of accumulation we needed moved. He kept in touch and answered questions in advance of the actual move. The day prior to the move Ryan and a colleague came to the house to get things ready to enable an even smoother move the following day. We were moving a 2,200 s/f home and a 15x10 storage rental. I'm not accustomed to people being on time, so imagine our delight when they were 30 minutes early at EACH location! A team of 3 at one venue & 4 at another, they made quick work of loading the to trucks -- when one team was done at the storage rental, they joined the team at my house. These guys rocked. Because we were moving 135 miles away, they delivered all of it to our new home the following day. While our furniture was padded for the trip to the new home, they padded entry ways and set protective carpets down. As far as I can tell there isn't a single item damaged. And the walls/doorways going and coming may have had one scuff, if that. Finally, and I mention this because it's not the norm -- these guys not only worked well together, but they actually were affable & enthusiastic, while still being professional and polite every step of the way. We had a very pleasant experience using Dogwood Moving Co. We were moving a four bedroom house and used their website to get an estimate for our move. I gave a detailed list of the furniture that we would have to move and got an estimate within 24 hours. They provided very good communication as we approached our perp and move day. For our prep day we had Randy and Ray who were on time, polite, upbeat and hard working. They completed the dismantling and wrapping of the furniture closer to the lower end of the amount of time indicated in the estimate which was excellent. They also realized that two trucks should be sufficient to move that amount of furniture the next day instead of the three originally estimated and had the office adjust the work order for the next day which was much appreciated. On move day the move team of Randy, Ray, Seth, John, Jourdain and Khalif (in the attached photo) showed up on time and after a quick review of the rooms and the furniture, set about loading everything into their two trucks. They were efficient and careful with our furniture and were on it while maintaining a positive attitude. You could tell that they get along well and have respect for each other and their customers. We had them put down floor protection in the house that we moved into and they completed the move within the amount of time estimated. 6/26/2021 After doing some research about movers, I found Dogwood movers and the experience was phenomenal. Wes, Klaus, and Zach A arrived on time and were professionally dressed. I showed them what needed to be moved and in no time at all, they had all my boxes and furniture in the truck in no time. When we arrived at my new location, they were able to get the truck quickly and carefully unloaded. The three of them were a dream team of movers. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I will without a doubt be using their services again when it comes time for me to move again! On top of everything else, when it came to payment, everything was extremely reasonably priced and they accepted credit cards which was a huge convenience. I will be recommending them to anyone that asks for a service to help them move! We've worked with Dogwood Moving Company several times, and they've consistently exceeded our expectations. When we needed junk hauled away, Connor and Pablo made it seem effortless. In the year 2025, due to my fiancé job we had to move 3 times. We have used Dogwood for every single move. This time we had Grant, Naim, & Don. Let me start by sayin, we always request Grant. That man I can't say enough good things about! Hes professional and efficient. He makes moving so much less stressful. This particular time we got to meet Naim & Don. And hands down we were blessed with in my opinion probably Dogwoods 3 best employees. We used Dogwood Moving Company for an urgent move due to some ventilation issues in the other house. They were able to work us in on Sunday January 3. We had such a terrible experience when we moved a year ago (with Brazo's movers) and we were nervous. Right off the bat Liam asked about what we needed and scheduled 2 trucks with 4 guys. The morning of the move we got Chris, Randy, Logan and Shane. They arrived promptly and began working immediately. These guys were young but so professional! They worked nonstop. They clearly worked well together. It had been raining several days before the move and they took great care not to track any mud. They moved huge furniture from our upstairs and our big green egg like it was nothing. They had this job done in 5 hours (as opposed to the 12 hours plus a trip the next day with Brazos~ SAME STUFF!!!) Not one thing was damaged! We have to move again in a few months and I plan to ask for all four of these guys. They charge by the hour which is better than giving a low ball estimate that is not honored. They have restored my faith in companies that actually care about doing a good job! read more

Dogwood unloaded our truck when we moved in from out of state, and honestly, they were the best part of the move. We felt like we were in perfectly kind & competent hands with Randy & Guppy, who were consummate professionals. They checked in on exactly where we wanted every piece of furniture, so we didn't have to move things like dressers into place after they left. They also were very careful to not let the cat escape, and treated all of our things carefully! We were so glad that the moving company who loaded & drove us had secured Dogwood Moving as our unloaders. When we had a bad experience with a different moving company, which left us with a Uhaul full of one of our other household member's belongings, Dogwood graciously came to our rescue again. Although they were booked full, their dispatch person took the time to reach out to their teams and found a team willing to take on more work after their day was supposed to be over. Calvin and Seane got us unloaded quickly, including navigating bulky & heavy furniture up a STEEP flight of stairs. They made an incredibly stressful day end well. read more

They're the best. We interviewed 5 local moving companies prior to our decision to hire Dogwood. Some were matter-of-fact, some took a long time during the interview, all were decent, however Dogwood offered the most professionalism, most personalization, and reasonable quote. The MOVE was AMAZING!!!! The attitude of our team was our BEST experience and we've moved MANY times. Ben, Wes and Klaus were SUPERIOR to our past experiences. We had a big move from a 3 bedroom 2,400 Sqt Ft Condo in GSO to a smaller 2 BDR Apt and Storage Space in Raleigh. Chose Dogwood due to recommendations from The Eastern (Raleigh). Jourdain, Jalen and Jayvion showed up in GSO on time and ready to roll. Logistics worked against them as they had to make a huge number of runs in a passenger elevator versus freight. Needless to say, this was a long day. The crew finished up at 9pm, 12 hours later. However they never missed a beat all day. They were positive, consistent work effort, careful and reassuring throughout the day. I would not have blamed them if they were frustrated by the logistics but they never showed it the day/evening. All 3 took responsibility and were leaders. Jourdain was leaving the next day for some PTO and he still came back with Jaylen and Jayvion the next morning to finish up unloading at the storage facility. Getting "decent" customer service is what most of us expect nowadays. But, with Dogwood Moving I was pleasantly surprised by their work ethic and high quality customer care. I was searching for a moving company for a short move (7 miles) and read the reviews about Dogwood Moving and decided to give them a call. I was impressed from the very beginning! I had called twice, but got their voicemail. I didn't leave a message figuring I'd just call back. Seeing that my number had called twice, I received a call from them (Liam) within 30 minutes. During that first call, I received all the information I needed AND was able to book my move...even though the date was tentative. The email follows up until move day were informative without being overbearing. On move day, I was fortunate to have the wonderful team of Randy (Team Leader), Mo and Anthony. They were on-time, polite, efficient and careful with all my things. Randy communicated with me throughout and Mo even assembled my new bed frame! I was really surprised how good & organized this mover is, i had 4-5 moves before and this one was the best one. Their communication is really good, they explained everything very clearly. They were so accomodative, i had to reschedule my move date twice and they changed it without a word. Many movers charge upfront partially to schedule but here it was not that which I really liked. On the moving day crew Braden, Brendyn and Neil arrived right on time and did everything so smoothly. They were super careful with my furnitures, did wrap everything properly, disassembled and assembled all the furnitures carefully. Everything was moved from source to destination without a single scratch. My loveseat was not fitting through the door of one of my room and they unscrew the door, fit it in and screwed it back, I was really satisfied how easy they made the entire moving. Dogwood Moving is the ONLY correct choice. They were absolutely amazing... Let's break it down - Communication A++, Professionalism A++, Efficiency A++, Price A++. Every part of the process from start to finish was incredibly smooth thanks to the Dogwood team, scheduling was a breeze and the actual moving team was incredible. We moved back in August and regretfully I can't remember the names of the 3 gentlemen but they were professional, friendly, and so efficient. We bought them pizza for a quick lunch break (which IMO you should always do for your moving crew) and they were so sweet and appreciative. What's more our builder gave us an extra can of paint and guaranteed that we would have a lot of touch ups to do after the movers came through - NOPE not a single mark on any wall or any piece of furniture. Our move was about an hour drive from Raleigh to Angier and everything was so smooth and even the price was a steal! I would recommend Dogwood Moving to ANYONE looking to move.
