Poor service, lack of accountability. Was initially provided a weight estimate and told we could update inventory as needed. The execution was far from what was discussed. Promised 4 guys which is something we stated from the very first phone call. They arrived 3 guys in a rented truck, the 4 th person arrived only after we again said we agreed to 4 guys, (he left after 45 minutes). The wood furniture was not wrapped with pads only Saran Wrap. The truck provided was too small, we were assured by Tabitha that movers would call for a second truck after filling the first truck half way. When we asked the lead for the second truck, we were told all the trucks were out on jobs. The movers then proceeded to use their own personal vehicle. Not using pads left on the ground. After unloading there are several pieces with chunks of wood missing, parts of legs on new dresser splintered off. Molding broken on entertainment center. Provided all this to the owner who spoke over me often and passed it on to his claims. Owner blamed their failure on us because we updated the inventory 4 days before, we never changed the weight estimation but he kept going back to that. Ultimately after much back and forth we were offered a pittance based on weight per pound. Owner repeatedly blamed user error on us for updating inventory, (after we sold or gave items away). We also were told the guys were tired. Is that OUR problem? Of course they got tired, 3 guys doing with work of 4. While we don't believe the damage was intentional, it was gross negligence. The owner spoke repeatedly about basic evaluation . We have moved 7 times and never had more then that and never had any items damaged ever. The low ball " compensation" offer speaks volumes about customer service. He actually stated he treats all customers / complaints the same. Which is a problem because not every situation is the same. If you value your furniture and your hard earned money that it took to get it and want a company that stands by their word, we suggest to look elsewhere. read more

On Monday, I was fortunate enough to get paired up with a crew from Next Stop Movers that included Ralphiel, Henry and Marcell. These guys were on time, courteous, professional, and friendly and immediately made me feel like they were going to take care of all of my things. I was especially concerned about some of my bigger furniture not fitting into my new home at the beach because of the way the staircase was configured. Ralphiel, Henry and Marcell assured me that they would figure out a way to get everything into the new house and they did! To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement and I'll never be able to truly thank them for their hard work. They were able to "save" my furniture, and I would say that this move paid for itself, because without them, I would have had to buy a bunch of new furniture to replace the furniture that wouldn't fit up the steps. Kevin, Shake, and P did an absolutely outstanding job with my move. The process was much more strenuous than a typical move because the apartment required carrying everything up multiple flights of stairs, but they handled it with professionalism and a great attitude the entire time. They were efficient, careful with all of my belongings, and worked incredibly hard without slowing down. Not a single item was damaged, and they made sure everything was placed exactly where I needed it in the apartment. Next Stop Movers were fantastic. We did have a fairly major accident occurring during the move but owners Josh and Hale were right there and never made us worry about the situation.
