You all are ripped off image to move a queens size bed a bureau and a 4 seater dinning room table a small freezer a small tv groceries . 5 suit cases and 7 trash bags which I help they came from 11:45 to 3:30 to remove from apt manager stay 20 mins on phone to get 16 hundred dollars on my time and they left on there time I never get my Stuff in my apt until 8:15 they stay long not for me to get a refund as he told me if I finish by 8 I will get back some money but it was a scam they are scamers but God don't sleep!! read more

Review for All My Sons - Raleigh Location I've lived in Raleigh for over 15 years and had never heard of anyone having a bad experience with All My Sons--until now. I booked them for a small local move (less than a mile) and was quoted $1,100. After noticing the receipt didn't include the hours worked, I asked to speak with Tim, who originally gave me the quote. I was overquoted by about 30 minutes, and the total was adjusted to $980. I also wasn't told this amount already included my $100 deposit until I followed up later. Despite a light load, the move took over 4.5 hours. Between the movers and my boyfriend and me stepping in, I can't imagine how long it would've taken without extra help. Both movers were polite and worked hard, but they simply weren't the right team for the job. They struggled to move a 130-pound recliner together, which created safety concerns and slowed everything down. When I brought up the lack of basic tools, Tim told me he's been in the moving industry for eight years and that it's standard for movers to arrive without things like scissors or a knife. Later, the Raleigh manager Daniel clarified that movers aren't responsible for removing packing materials once your furniture is delivered--so make sure you have your own tools handy. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The damage claim process is also grueling. Save yourself the stress and go with a reliable local crew instead--my past experiences with smaller movers have been far better. read more

I had a horrible experience with this company moving from Raleigh to Winston- Salem. The movers were not fully stocked so I had to buy boxes and paper. Every lamp had to be repaired and every lampshade but one was replaced. About 15 items were missing and the same and a few broken. The packing was terrible- kitchen, bathroom and den items in the same box, difficult unpacking. The people weren't rude, just uncommunicative. Management was a nightmare. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Zero stars if I could!!! I am not surprised at their very low rating. I used them to move 12-15 furniture pieces from one home to another, only about 3 miles away, and it was the WORST experience I have ever had. Literally everything they touched was damaged in some way, they didn't come prepared and needed to use my tools, took 12 hours to perform the work, and the charges were not nearly what was quoted to me before the move. And, this is the tip of the iceberg...because filing a claim for damages revealed their true character. I had 1 specific piece of furniture, an antique buffet that has been in my wife's family for over 150 years, that was pointed out to the company when I first called for a quote, and in detail with the movers upon preliminary walkthrough. I was encouraged to purchase the "extra" insurance that increased the damage payments from $.60 per pound to $4.00 per pound, which I purchased specifically for this piece of furniture. To my horror, I watched as 3 movers allowed this piece of furniture to fall completely off their truck, and onto the concrete driveway upside down. This piece (with estimated appraised value well over $2,000) is irreplaceable, so I received a quote to have it repaired as best as it could. The repair quote was approx $1,100, and All My Sons proceeded to claim it as a "total loss" and "graciously" offered me a settlement of $400. So...I pay (way too much) for movers to damage everything they touch, and I end up with a damaged family heirloom!!! Stay away from this company!!! read more

MOVERS BEWARE!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use this service. Movers will move slowly and explore the neighborhood to drive up the time you will be charged. Moved 2 sofas (without pillows), queen mattress and 2 pieces of queen frame and took over 3 hours. No communication is done when they cause issues with the move and customer service is pretty much non existent. Movers just chilled for a lot of time and the paying customer(me) had to take their equipment to their truck because a worker walked around downtown to "search for a bathroom" for 20 minutes that we were charged for when they were moving speaking with the "boss", he did not listen and this place takes advantage of women. When trying to explain all the issues and the movers lying about doing the job in the timeframe, we were spoken over and ignored. Gave a "special" rate of 144/hr and it apparently took 2.75 for the little bit of stuff in our pictures which is a joke when you have a reserved loading dock and reserved elevator that only works for you during this time. Paying $540 for subpar service where I'm doing the labor of putting my own mattress in the bag and moving it closer to the door among other things. Add on the fact that my clean new furniture is now damaged, dirty and with exposed wood. At this rate we may as well go through our contract again and go to small claims court. Also, the nerve of one of the movers to try and tell the other new worker the damage was his fault for not wrapping it right when he wasn't there for 20 minutes at the beginning and 30 minutes at the end is unacceptable. Wasn't even there to assist him and blame it on him? Is there such a thing as negative 1000 stars? If there was, it still wouldn't be bad enough to explain everything that went wrong today. My sister is 8 months pregnant and I am currently dealing with joint issues and anxiety and we hired this company to move a few things to be less stressful and provide some relief during this move but it made us feel worse. I honestly would have done better with any other companies I was quoted with. Please, for the love of God and all that is holy DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you care about your life, your things, your money and your time. read more

PS: All My Sons broke a leg off my antique china cupboard and didn't tell me, put it back so it looked normal! Thank God, I didn't put any china in it, because when the leg fell off, the cupboard fell over! On top of me! and I was hardly strong enough to get out from under it! Am I upset? You bet! read more

I contacted this moving company because they were licensed. I told them I have a Treadmill I am still paying on and need to make sure it will be safely moved. After the three movers taking there sweet time smoking weed. My moved turned in to thousands of dollars. My treadmill never turned on again. I contacted the company and made a claim. To be told they denied my claim. That it's mechanical and they don't cover that. I said it has to do with the person who put it together. It worked fine before I am still paying on it! They do not care. Now I either come of thousands to have it looked at and fixed or continue to pay on a 3,000 dollar tread I cannot use sitting in my living room. This company does not care. The lag on purpose to get more money and they will hit you with supplies you don't ask for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY SCAMMERS!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst moving company I've used thus far. They damaged several of my expensive items (couch, end table, headboard, work desk, bedside table, paintings, etc). On top of that, I was overcharged by over 200 dollars and would not have received a refund had I not brought it up. Mind you, it seems I will only receive about 170, for repairs that will cost thousands. Here are some photos, which do not show the full damage. According to the two movers sent, there should have been three movers assigned to the job (which seems to be in line with how other companies I looked up assign movers for the type of move I had......which was a three bedroom, 2 bath home with two queen bedroom sets, full living room set, dining set, etc). They even called for help after doing the walk through and seeing how solid and heavy my bedroom furniture is. Of course, no third person was sent and I now have several damaged pieces of furniture. read more

this is the worst company ever!!! for one, they are so slow! they really like to milk that money!! they quoted my mom $1200... then a s the day went on, they kept raising the price! it ended up being $3000 and they didn't even get all the things!!! they left big things that we had to hire someone else to get!! this was 2 days ago and called today wanting more money from my mom!! they couldn't even hook the washer and dryer up right!! it flooded her laundry room!! we were all going thru a very hard time with the passing of my dad, and they knew that and still took advantage!! do not hire them for any reason or you will pay for it....literally!! read more
