Decided to check out this place been hearing a lot of good things about it. I would say a good 15 or 16 assorted flavors of gelato is the key attraction here. Was it tasty? Yes. Whould I go out of my way to go here again not sure. 6 bucks for what I would call a small cup I believe they call it a large. So I got four of them for my family paid 24 bucks. I understand this is homemade we are not at Carvel or Dairy Queen or some other chain . I tasted cannoli, rainbow cookie ,Rocher chocolate and regular chocolate. My complaint really is I did not taste anything special or unique about any of the flavors. in fact the rainbow cookie and the cannoli was even hard to distinguish. The other thing is if this was 4 bucks or 4.50 I think I would have felt better about getting four of them. Dolce Gelateria supplied gelato, spoons, and cups for our engagement party in July and everyone at the party was THRILLED! We ordered 3 tubs of gelato for 95 people and still had about 1 full tub worth leftover. All of the flavors are delicious, we had such a hard time choosing only 3 but we ended up going with fig & honey (the fan favorite of the night!! everyone loved it!!), rainbow cookie, and hazelnut. Our guests are still talking about the gelato today months later. Jo at the counter was also extremely friendly and helpful in helping us pick flavors and determine what we needed for our guests and we're strongly considering having them supply gelato for the wedding too! After having dinner in the area, my friend and I decided to stop by Dolce Gelato to have gelato. It is a very pleasant space, clean and airy. They have been in this location for about 15 months. After looking over the choices, my friend got stracciatella on a cone and I ordered a cup with mixed berry and straciatella gelato. We sat down and had our gelato in the facility, maintaining social distancing. We finished our gelato and then had to run some errands. Nice spot for gelato and coffee! We've driven past it so many times but never got around to going in. There are some tables outside with chairs and umbrellas. There's also some seating indoors. Very straightforward and simple menu (gelato, coffee and some cake slices, didn't catch flavors) but sometimes less is more :) definitely not lacking in flavor though. A bunch of gelato flavors that all looked so tasty, we went for cannoli cream, hazelnut and coconut. All very good. In the regular cup which might look small, it's actually quite generous and you can pick up to 2 flavors. Each order gets it's own cute heart shaped cookie which was delicious. Would love to come back and try their more elaborate flavors which looked fun. Decor inside is really cute, great spot for friends and family. read more

Cute spot for a nice frozen treat. Located right on the corner on Langdon and Franklin, it's pretty convenient coming home from the beach or pool. They have a few tables and some spots to enjoy on the counter. We found parking right up front too. So how was the gelato? Well I had the rainbow cookie flavor and it was quite good. I'd love a few more chunks of the cookie but as is works too. The kids loved the lemon orange flavor and were thrilled that each cup came with a little cone cookie. Beautiful new spot! Some seating available both inside and outside. The gelato is very tasty. For $5 they give you a pretty generous 2 scoop serving. They also have espresso which I didn't try yet but it looked great! Staff was nice. I hope they will get rid of the plastic spoons though, so bad for environment! Use the wooden ones instead! Found this wonderful little gelateria with my grandkids. It has now become a regular stop after camp. The kids can try any flavor before they make their big decision and whatever you pick its fresh and amazing. Even has delicious sorbetto if you do t want a milk base. The parking was horrible. I understand that it's gets popular at night but JEEZ i was driving around for over 10 minutes trying to get a spot. Although the interior is nice the gelato was a let down. They also don't have many gluten free flavors which was a real bummer. I ended up getting a lemon sorbet and this little cup was $6! I was shocked! Not to mention the fact that the sorbet was so icy that i felt like i was eating an Italian ice. I read about this gelateria in the newspaper and drove 50 minutes to try it and I was not disappointed. Born in Italy, I miss the gelato from there and try to find it in the States. Very cute and inviting little Gelato place, it certainly is located in a odd little area but still great nonetheless! Their team is very attentive and greeted me as I walked in, kudos to them! I might be a little miffed at the fact that there is a minimum $10 for debit card purchases but that didn't stray me away from deciding to buy more anyway, although I would say 10 is a little pricey and would hate to see anyone else be put off by that price... (But I will be mindful of that when I come again!) The Gelato on the other hand was a amazingly smooth and creamy delight to have, I ordered the Butter Pecan, Coconut, Fig and Honey, and I must say my taste buds are very pleased! I've been debating on writing a review or not but it's been weighing heavy on my mind. To some it might not seem like much but in this climate I felt like it was a big deal. On Monday the 30th of May I took a trip to this establishment for my very first time and when I entered I wasn't greeted with a smile or a hello but instead the 2 girls working there just stood at the gelato display staring at me and my brother. We stood there for a second waiting for some sort of greeting and there was NOTHING but silence. So I just hand one of the girls my list of orders and my brother and I just sit at the table waiting for it to be made. In hindsight I realize I should have just walked out but my brother is only 7 and really wanted the gelato so we stayed. Then an elderly white couple comes in and are INSTANTLY greeted with a hello from the tall girl that was working there and a rage grew within me. Of course the only difference between us was our skin color.... It's 2022 and this is still happening. Sad :( Nothing against the establishment itself or the taste/quality of gelato. Omg soooo good! I think the worst part about this place is the fact that they have so many flavors and it's so hard to choose because every flavor is just perfect.
