Then she said rudely again "well we only have two left so you're gonna have to get one of those." I was trying to find the flavors someone and read what all was in it. I was splitting it with a friend and he asked me which one I was thinking. Keep in mind it had been about 15 seconds and there was absolutely no line. I said "uhh I'm not sure" she rudely interrupted and practically yelled "Well do you want me to just pick for you!" At this point I was pretty tired of it so I admit, I was giving her quite the death stare. I just couldn't believe that she was speaking like that to me when I had been nothing but kind to her. She then said, "I promise I'm not trying to be a smart ass you just seem like you're gonna be taking a while." If it wasn't for my friend not wanting to leave I would've walked right away and gone to Dairy Queen instead. The ice cream was good but not worth the experience. The lady was an older lady, maybe early-mid 60's. I'm assuming she was a manager or smth? I will definitely not be back!

As I was buying the cheese, I saw a family enjoying some ice cream cones and I had to try their ice cream as well. This place has everything. I got a cone of the Oregon mint and honestly I think it might be one of the best flavors of ice cream I have ever had. It was so fresh and flavorful and I was actually sad when I started getting to the bottom of the cone. If you're an ice cream person, you have to try it. They also gave me a card for a free game of bowling at Northgate Bowl which I thought was a really neat bonus. I wasn't in the area long enough to use it, but if we had been staying longer I definitely would have tried out the bowling as well. This is exactly the kind of local business I want to support. To the owner's credit, they did reach out to me, acknowledged the issue, and provided a gift card to make things right, which I genuinely appreciated. Good customer service means a lot, and I want to recognize them for addressing my concern. Unfortunately, the replacement cake I ended up purchasing was disappointing. Nobody in my family was particularly happy with it, and the quality just wasn't what we've come to expect. Over the last year especially, it seems like the quality and freshness of the cakes have become inconsistent. Sometimes they're excellent, and other times they taste stale or simply aren't very good. Customer service can also be hit or miss. I've had some positive interactions, but there have also been times when the service felt less than welcoming. I am not writing this review to tear down a local business. In fact, I continue to support them because I know what they're capable of when they're at their best. However, consistency is important. Consistent cake sizes, consistent quality, and consistent customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because I'd love to see the shop return to the level of quality that made me a regular customer in the first place.
