Stumbled up Dolcevita as we wandered around Dorsoduro, it is a really great spot to grab cicchetti and coffee/an aprol spritz. Probably had the best flavored cicchetti here so far! Great ambience inside with fair amount of seating. The octopus, pepper/spicy and salami cicchetti are a must try!
This place is great for a quick afternoon snack. We stopped in randomly because it started raining outside and we're so glad we did. Had an aperol spritz, strawberry spritz, and 4 cichetis. You can point and order at the case and they place them on a warm stone. Generous portions and interesting flavor combos! The total was around $17 for the 2 drinks and cichetis
Stopped in randomly and it was a great find. Best cicchetti we've had yet. Jamon and radicchio, prosciutto and Gorgonzola, turkey and vegetable cheese, jamon and soft cheese with pistachio. Also a pistachio cream croissant. They had a special for a spritz and two cicchetti for 7.50 which was a deal. Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend
What a wonderful little neighborhood bar. We went there almost every morning for coffee and a pastry over our one month stay just around the corner. The coffee is perfectly prepared and the pastry as fresh as can be. And...(and this is a BIG "and") the two women who work there will absolutely brighten your day. Elisa and Ina are so friendly, fun, helpful, and efficient that you will leave there feeling great, and having had a delicious breakfast. What a great way to start your day. Oh, and the afternoon offering of fresh and varied cicchetti and spritzes is just what the doctor ordered after a day of sightseeing. So, if you are in the area and want to start your day off right, go see Elisa and Ina. Let them take care of you...and put a little something in that tip can...it is well deserved. Tell them Mike and Kaye sent you.
This place is Amazing- make a point to try it. 3 pastries 2 espresso all for 7 Euros in Venice- I'll take it. They also speak Spanish to English and of course Italian flawlessly in one sentence if they have to no problem. The pomegranate pastry, pecan pastry were flaky fresh and the chocolate croissant which they squeeze the chocolate cream fresh in layers INSIDE the pastry made to order were all beyond excellent
My husband and I stopped by here after having dinner across the street on a previous night. We loved the view, location, and in the morning, it was packed! There are plenty of delicious options. We ended up going with the pistachio croissants, lattes, and ham/ cheese multi grain sandwich to share. The pistachio croissants were lightly filled with a delicious pistachio paste and the overall texture was wonderful. The cost is reasonable and they offer to go or eat in. The latte is delicious, good size (A bit smaller than we're used to, but perfectly fine!). The sandwich was delicious and they heated up for us as well, making it even better. This is a great grab and go place or a quick traditional Italian breakfast. Not too heavy, plenty of pastry variety, and a coffee to sip on your journey. It is located on the way to a vaporetto stop or San Marco.

This is a great coffee spot in Venice. It's off the beaten path and you won't be around tons of tourists. Enjoy an expresso in the afternoon or a cappuccino in the morning. The service is friendly. And there's seating inside and outside. It's a great location! read more
Do yourself a favor and order a pistachio croissant here, and you're welcome. Stumble upon this coffee shop when we were looking for another bakery in the morning. I can't even remember which bakery we were trying to go, but turned out it was closed on that day. So we kept walking and saw a line at Dolcevita, which is always a good sign. So we went in and got our coffee and morning pastries. I got a pistachio croissant, and was pleasantly surprised that they fill it right before handing it to you. After I took my first bite, I was in haven! It was soooo good! I'm typically not a pistachio fan, but omg these pistachio cream filling was sooo good! I even came back the morning before leaving Venice and bought 2 to-go for my flight home lol read more

Excellent! My family and I were walking by and noticed this beautiful day. The bread with cheese and tomatoes, were yummy. The hot tea with honey hit the spot, and the staff is very nice. Will be back! read more

Absolutely phenomenal and delicious little cafe! My husband and I went here for breakfast all three mornings we spent in Venice because it was that good. The men always had smiles on their faces, and were more than willing to help me practice my Italian while they made our cappuccini. Each morning we both would get a cappuccino ("best in Venice!") and a croissant filled with either chocolate, pistachio, or marmalade. Prices are more than reasonable and the quality is *chef's kiss*. You won't regret visiting Dolcevita! read more
