The staff here at THIS LOCATION are absolutely amazing (not all offices are the same, trust me). Dr. Rosenblum took care of an emergency situation for my daughter during our first spring break here and after he made her feel so comfortable, my daughter insisted that he continue to be her dentist. Dr. Wright is now our orthodontist and she was so patient and thorough through that process. I recommend that if you're looking for a pediatric dentist's office that can also accommodate orthodontics, then this is DEFINITELY your place!

We were a little early for our appointment but were taken to the back right away. they have TV, magazines and a few toys in the lobby if you do have to wait. The dental assistant that cleaned my sons teeth was wonderful. She explained to him step by step what she was doing and was very gently with him. Since he's only 3 he is a bit apprehensive to lay back in the chair and have anything done in his mouth but he was made to feel very comfortable. Once she was done and we were waiting for the dentist they have a large variety of books the kids can engage in. He loves their animal book which lists hundreds of animals from around the world. Once Dr Levin came he gave him a very quick examination and gave him a clean bill of health. One thing that stood out to me that is why I will remain a patient here is Dr Levin's response to my son complaining of tooth pain. When he examined his mouth he said he didn't see anything but If my son kept complaining to bring him back at no charge. That shows that he really cares about his patients and its not all about the money.

They are really good with kids and have the best schedule. They have accommodated me in so many ways. I love how flexible they have been with me between scheduling and payments. I don't know of a better pediatric dentist.

The dental assistant who took my X-rays (I'm assuming that's what it's called) came out to get me and was super kind and easy to talk to. She explained everything as we went and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. After the imaging, Dr. Hernandez came in and went over everything they found. I honestly don't remember ever having a dentist be that thorough. He took his time, explained things clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on and had all my questions answered. This was just the first visit--they'll do the cleaning and anything else at a follow-up--but overall, everyone there was wonderful. It's hard for me to even say this, but I'm actually looking forward to going back. I told my youngest son and his wife (who are local and looking for a dentist), and they are eager to be seen by Dr. Hernandez and his staff!

I used to love coming to the dentist (we all have our quirks, people!), until I had a bad experience at our prior dentist. I decided to give Smile By Design a go, and I love it (although I can't say I LOVE getting dental work done- I'm now a normal person that dreads the dentist). I've had filling removal & re-fills done, and I expressed my fear & anxiety to Dr. Santos, and she was so calm and patient with me during the entire procedure. That first experience I had with her made me feel totally comfortable and I trust her completely with my teeth. I think they do offer a lot of options, and some people are put off by that, but I'm gonna tell you- I bought that expensive Bluetooth toothbrush they offered me, and while the Bluetooth part is whatever (IMHO), my teeth have never felt better and my hygienist notices a difference in my teeth (which I totally believe!). My teeth feel like I just got a cleaning every single time I brush with it (which is nightly). Dr. Santos also suggested I get a soft night guard, and while my insurance doesn't cover that, I saved my pennies and got fitted for it. In summary, I do feel as though this dentistry has my teeth in their best interest, and I would recommend anyone going here! If you've had bad experiences at the dentist, be honest with them about it and I think they'll baby you like they baby me. We need it!

My son is covered for general anesthesia and nitrous oxide because he is autistic. And no matter how I try to prove it to them, they refuse to accept that. I will never return to this practice. My 8 year old was having some crowns placed over fillings that were previously done wrong at the Edinburg konikoff practice. She was very passive when he expressed pain and showed no concern or compassion when an 8 year old sat crying in her chair. When he expressed discomfort and said he could feel the pain in his teeth she spoke to him in an angry tone and threatened "do I need to leave the room so your mother can do some parenting". As a RN, I have never witnessed such poor bedside manner in a pediatric setting. Would not recommend scarring your child's dental experience with such a lack of empathy from a so called pediatric dentist practice. When I spoke with the office manager and expressed how upsetting the experience was she was uninterested and then did me the favor of calling me back to cancel any future appointments with the office because Dr. Hubbard thought it was best to refer him elsewhere.

Now that all her teeth have come in, we proceeded to have them restored under general anesthesia. This is NOT an easy decision, especially as a parent of a toddler, but the entire team ensured we were well informed, equipped with all the options, and comfortable. Each doctor was great with my daughter, despite her anxiety with the experience of being around new people. I would recommend this team again and again to anyone who has kids. We've met with Dr. Sachs on many occasions and he is just incredible with kids. While cleaning and checking, he sang to my toddler to ease her anxieties. Dr. Wong was also SO great. He was always so friendly with Avery and talked with her about her interests before checking her heart rate etc. He also made sure to check on US as the parents, letting us know that she was in good hands. I was comforted to know that she was surrounded by a team and truly cared about not only her experience, but ours as well. Lindsey, the business manager, was also so very helpful. She understood my schedule as a teacher, and worked with us to have my daughter seen - which allowed us to take care of her tooth decay in a timely fashion. My original review remains unchanged as to the rating and we are so happy with the practice. Since August my daughter has received six week periodic appointments for braces. The process of install and adjustments has been smooth. Wait times for adjustments minimal. The pricing seems around standard for their office to do your child's braces. They have a monthly payment plan at no interest. They take most insurance plans. I would encourage a read of both my in depth original review and updated version if considering braces. If your child breaks up dental care and braces with two practices be prepared for a lot more juggle. I like that everything is in house. I can't recommend them enough.

I cannot say enough good things, especially about the pediatric department and Dr. Spruill! Late yesterday afternoon, we called to get our daughter seen following a playground mishap. They graciously agreed to fit us in at the end of their day. Dr. Spruill evaluated our daughter and was glad we brought her in immediately. Though we had initially been told any procedure may have to wait, he stayed well beyond closing to make sure she received the surgery she needed. He and the assistant made sure she was comfortable throughout and called back today to check on how she was feeling. They communicated easily with my husband and I, ensuring we understood what was being done as well as follow-up precautions needing to be taken. We absolutely love this practice and I have frequently recommended them to friends and family! It is clear that they truly care about their patients.

I waited while they activated my son's account, but they only booked my appointment and not his. At that time, there were no available appointments until June of this year. Today, May 28, I found out that they never booked my son's appointment, and now there are no openings until March of 2026. If you're trying to get your teeth cleaned every six months, this is not the right place for you. They only have availability for one cleaning a year. While the dentists and dental hygienists are nice, the front desk staff is rude and clearly lacks knowledge about their processes. Additionally, they previously scheduled an appointment for me to have my teeth pulled without a consultation, and the dentist informed me that this is a common practice, even though he can't extract teeth without a prior consultation. He stated he has tried to get the front desk staff to stop but they will not. I highly advise against wasting your time here. I wish I could give them zero starts but this review requires I give 1 star to post it.
