I can not find the words that would describe the exceptionally experience I recently had at the Pretty Lake office. From Kevin at the front desk to Angie and Kristina the dental assistant. Dr. Allen worked her magic on my teeth and it was a long day with 5 crowns. I wish I had a before picture to show the transformation. I never smiled that much because of my teeth but after Dr. Allen and her crew finished I can't stop smiling! I even ask my friends and family if they want to see my new teeth! Draft Review for Morrison Dental - Norfolk I have had the worst experience ever at Morrison Dental in Norfolk. I have been a patient with them for years, and they used to provide excellent care, but the past couple of months have been extremely disappointing. First, a dental assistant caused damage inside my mouth, creating a hole in my cheek that became infected, and they also broke my crown. I paid to replace the crown, but it broke again, and when they finally placed a new one, it fell out in less than a month. On top of that, they billed the wrong insurance and overcharged me. When they realized the mistake, the receptionist told me I would receive a refund. It has now been more than a month, and I still have not received my money back. The quality of care and customer service has declined significantly. I was treated very poorly, and after everything I experienced, I can no longer recommend this office to anyone. read more

I was new to area and wanted a cleaning and checkup I'm with short notice. After calling several different offices, MDG was the one office who was able to fit me in without a week. I provided my insurance info and received a confirmation listing all the items I needed to bring my appointment. The office is nicely organized and well maintained. I arrived, filled out new patient paperwork and the hygienist brings me down the hall for X-rays. I know any X-ray not done in the room is most likely a panoramic which I had not requested. I mentioned I got a panoramic less than 5 months ago and a new one was not required. I was told all Morrison offices required a pano for new clients. The employees refused to conduct the exam. I offered to get a copy from my previous dentist and contacted the office. It was now 30 minutes since my appointment time. The hygienist refused to begin my exam or cleaning and was told I could reschedule for next week. Why aren't new patients told of this requirement? I could have easily obtained the X-ray prior to the cleaning. Finally they offered to continue the exam and do a free panorama which was unnecessary only after the dentist arrived. Please communicate these requirements to patient before the appointment not 30 mins after they arrive and them refuse to conduct the desired services. My hygienist did a great job and was very gentle. Dentist seemed knowledgeable. I asked for info about mouth guard and was told they would sent it and they never followed up. Don't see myself returning. read more

If life ever is going to happen to you don't come here. Had been to this location one time with no complaints it was fast. When it came time for my regular check up I received a text the day before. I was not going to be able to make the appointment I called to reschedule to which I was told I'd be charged a cancellation fee. However after digging on their webpage I found that I called exactly one hour over what the expected cancellation time was. I was also told a cancellation fee of double what was in there policy listed online. After calling back several times I let them know I will not be paying a cancellation fee and that the fee that was explained to me was double what is listed online. Never received a call to reschedule. So if you need a quick dents appointment go here but if you schedule ahead of time beware they are definitely in it for the money. read more

Just had a great cleaning with their superstar Cameron! Maybe the first time ever that I got numbed up without the entire side of my face getting rubbery. She handled things like the pro she is, and took the time to explain to me not only what was happening during the procedure, but also gave me a game plan for treatments in the future. I needed an emergency crown due to a broken front tooth, and Dr. Gozan & Angie were able to get me on the schedule asap. They did a phenomenal job from start to finish, and they were very helpful/thorough in their procedures. They made sure to schedule follow-up consultations to ensure everything went well and there were no issues after I left. The office and the entire facility was very clean and I felt very comfortable. My husband and I took our very first appointment for few dental work that needs to be done first time in this Dental Clinic and worried about our initial appointment. We were seen by this very pleasant to talk to Dr. Estrada and his super nice assistant Angie (by the way, this was their first time tag teaming and they work like they've worked before, they know their job very well). My husband and I were super impressed and felt well taken care of. Kudos to Dr. Estrada and Angie! Because of that, I changed my daughter's dental clinic to now with Morrison. A family affair with Morrison Dental and felt highly recommended if you're in the look for a trusted dental clinic. Happy to be here! I sought care at Morrison in July 2023. Part of my treatment plan included a night guard and Invisalign retainer. Morrison dental has failed to deliver my retainer and has refused to refund my money. I must resort to filing a claim in small claims court. read more

The Morrison dental group is an amazing and wonderful group of people who help you get all of your needs and concerns taken care of. The dental assistant ,Chris, is simple wonderful human being. He explained everything as it was happening, and he kept me calm. I have bad anxiety, and having him talk about stuff kept my mind busy from wandering off into a rough headspace. Dr. Guevara is amazing and fast worker. He was amazing every time I went and see him. Made sure I was doing okay through everything. And the ladies at the front desk are amazing and sweet as well. It is absolutely shocking to me that this dental office has received such high marks on Yelp and Google. I can only think the other patrons did not visit the new East Beach location. Both my husband and I were charged for services that we did not receive and the office refuses to pay us refunds. For me, they convinced me that I needed a nightguard and proceeded to charge me $167 after insurance and had me come into the office on four separate occasions where I encountered wildly unprofessional treatment. They produced two failing nightguards, both of which caused pain and one caused bleeding, a sore, and the need for a numbing ointment to be applied (all facts omitted in the notes taken by the dental assistant--they use these notes to determine whether or not you are eligible for a refund). After repeated attempts to get a refund for the nightguards that I did not accept, I was told the owner of the company would refund me all but $110 that they owed their lab for producing the failed product. Absurd! When you cannot provide a service, the client is not responsible for your costs associated with the failure. I have yet to receive ANY money in return for the product I did not receive. For my husband, they charged $200 for a cleaning they would not perform and said that he needed an additional $1300 to perform cleaning services. After receiving a second opinion, he was told that he did not need the intensive cleaning they demanded we pay for--they were just trying to squeeze him for more money. Save yourself money and the hassle of dealing with hustlers. Go to a different dental practice. read more
