    Dollar store

Since I totally like Spanish music (not kidding!) I rocked out a little as I walked around this place for a minute. We were on our way up the street but $1 for more items is always fun to shop in. Lots of childrens items, over-sized undies (again, not kidding) and toiletries on the wall where you enter. Some DVDs (also in Spanish) for $1. A very long food aisle was where I ended up finding an item for puchase. I had my Washington in one hand and a bag of veggie chips in the other. It was actually just over a dollar for the chips, and they were actually mostly corn with spinach as almost a final ingredient. But the price was right! Great little shop that I'm sure the neighborhood appreciates given the low prices!

My go-to neighborhood dollar store. When the other discount stores seem to be out of stock, Dollar Only never seems to let me down. I always check here for home goods, kitchen wares, or bathroom supplies before I go anywhere else. Cheap soap, detergent, shampoo, razors, aluminum foil, tupperware, TP, etc. Name brands aren't usually for sale, but it's a dollar store at 16th & Mission and it's super cheap - there's little else to say, really.

Drove in from Oakland to check this place out while I ran errands on the peninsula. I paid for parking only to find the doors locked and a small handwritten note with only a time written on it (1:35) and nothing else. I'm assuming that is the time they're returning from lunch? Standing next to an Amazon delivery driver who had tried to make a delivery and called the owner to complete the delivery. The owner said they're not at work and for the delivery driver to come back tomorrow. I also understand that businesses sometimes get charged by Yelp to update their info. In the future, write a review or something saying you will be closed for lunch so we can come another day and not bother to pay for parking. Time and money wasted. Also, if you took the time to put a sign on the door, at least elaborate what that time means.

Many different items inside from candles to napkins, make up to picture frames, snacks to drinks, utensils to small gifts. Before coming in here today, I drove around SF & Daly City looking to buy helium for balloons. My cousin couldn't find any for her daughters birthday which was in an hour!! Walmart was sold out. Target was closed. I had called Home Depot, it was said they have them in stock, went there and none to be found. Started googling, and this store popped up. I called and asked if they have HELIUM TANKS FOR SALE TO BLOW UP BALLONS, the girl who answered the phone said yes they sell helium tanks, a tank for $8, bigger tanks are more. So of course I drove there. Went in and said told them I just called, can I see the tanks, and the girl (in a hijab) showed me a helium tank. THEIR helium tank that they use to blow up their balloons for sale. I said thanks and left. Did a lot of texting with my cousins and she was at Lucky's down the street. She waited FOREVER, so she asked me to bring the balloons back here and get them blown up. Each ballon was $3, we had 26, total $85 (+tax) They also have balloons for sale, they have a huge variety of balloons taped top of the wall for you to choose from, and guess what? They're $3/ea! Not $1.50 or less. I'm grateful they were open, esp on this holiday where stores were closed. Both girls were really nice and patient. I felt kind of bad because their line was getting long, and I was holding up the line because I was getting many balloons blown up.

Came in here looking for bowls to replace our old ones, as some of them have chips on them. My mom didn't like any of them. And their price is high. Found the same bowls for $2 cheaper around the corner. I remember coming here when I was a little girl with my dad, he would purchase a toy for me each time we visit. Ofc I don't have them anymore. But I would play with them until they die on me or it breaks. I also bought a red mini broom/dust pan set for $10.99 few years back. It works so well! Light weight and sturdy. Used it at my work because the brooms we had there was extremely heavy. They have some value bargains definitively worth your buck. Instead of paying $5 for superglue, it's $2.49.
