We rented and paid extra for a minivan for our family and luggage on an 11-day vacation. On the first day, the front tire continually lost air and then the vehicle displayed an oil change warning over the next 2 days with over 1,500 miles still left to drive. We had to drive an hour out of our way to an Avis location, where they confirmed the tire needed repair and the vehicle needed service. Unfortunately, they had no minivans available, so we were forced into a much smaller SUV. While it was a nice vehicle, it was not what we reserved or paid for. Our luggage no longer fit, our kids were cramped, and we lost valuable vacation time dealing with a vehicle that should never have been rented out. Avis Customer Service told us we would receive the difference in the downgrade and even We followed every instruction they gave us, waited until our trip was complete, and called back as directed. Since then, we've received nothing but conflicting information, broken promises, and multiple representatives telling us different stories. Today we were even told that because the replacement SUV was newer ( though smaller) , if I continued to escalate it that I would end up having to pay more money instead of receiving the refund we were promised. That's simply unacceptable. Customers rent vehicles based on the size they need, not the model year. We paid for a minivan and ended up with a smaller vehicle after being given one that wasn't properly maintained in the first place. Revised.finally got someone to call me and they addressed all issues and made it right. Just wish that was done on the front end instead of outsourced customer service. We've spent hours on the phone, never received promised callbacks, and still have no resolution. We're asking Avis to honor the commitments made by their customer service team and make this right. We also hope Costco is aware of how customers using their travel partnership are being treated.

The toll pass charge goes into the pockets of Enterprise, nothing saved from the upcharge. Not to mention when I attempted to return my vehicle 50 miles away, they tried to charge an additional 50 cents per mile, stating that my rental didn't include any miles. So you morons expect me to stand outside of the car for 24 hours, stare at it and hand the keys back in order to avoid additional charges? Enterprise is complete trash, never again!

Budget Rental Service…read more I visited this location after booking a vehicle online through Expedia. I want to acknowledge that the woman working next to Stan was able to assist me and ultimately complete my rental, but my interaction with Stan at the counter was unnecessarily confrontational. When I approached the desk I was calm and polite, although I did mention I was not having the best day and was hoping to complete the process quickly. Instead of simply assisting with the reservation, Stan repeatedly suggested that I go somewhere else, including telling me I could go to Enterprise instead. I explained that I had already made my reservation and only needed help completing the pickup. The interaction escalated when he called for security, even though I had not raised my voice or behaved aggressively. I stepped away, took a moment to calm down, and then went to the employee next to him who was able to complete the transaction without issue. There was also confusion in the parking lot where I was initially directed to a vehicle that belonged to someone else, which required me to return inside and receive a different vehicle. Customer service situations can be stressful for both employees and customers, but professionalism matters, especially when someone is simply trying to complete a reservation. I hope this location reviews how interactions like this are handled so other customers don't experience unnecessary escalation.

Car they gave us was not the specified Corolla, but was a Mazda tin can that was difficult to get into because of how low the bucket seats sat and the smaller opening for the door. It was also most uncomfortable and a safety issue with the thick side bars dividing the front seat from the backseat, that obstructed vision when attempting to look right. It was explained to us that they were short on cars because people have not checked their cars in as they were supposed to. While unfortunate, I don't see how that's our issue as a customer and why we should be subjected to an uncomfortable and noted unsafe vehicle. If a car rental company did everything wrong, it's Budget.

Coming from Houston, I loved driving in Oklahoma City. No traffic jams. Drivers were polite. People actually used their turn signals. Amazing to follow speed limits and traffic laws. Note: Ask a local. Thank you to the agent who gave me a couple of museum and park recommendations. The Skydance Bridge and Scissortail Park were so beautiful. Loved seeing all the birds at the park. But we didn't have time to complain, so whatever). I had to have the car back by 5 PM. I dropped it off at approximately 4:55 PM (4:58 PM by the photo); the staff at the airport waited until 5:55 PM to check the car in, so I got charged for an extra hour, an extra day for an additional driver, and an extra day for tolls (because Hertz charges extra at the 30 minute mark). Plus all of the additional fees and taxes associated with that. I have the time stamped evidence, and I will attach it to this review. (Pink arrow is pointing to the car. In the return lane.) I thought, okay. I'll call customer service and get this sorted out. Hertz made me do the chat online first. That was useless and circular and I finally asked for a live human, only to remain perpetually in queue. I tried calling customer service and the AI Agent (Hollie? Heather?) told me to give her details. I started to and was placed on hold in the middle of it. What. The. Heck. And then I was on hold for over ten minutes, and I give up for today. My husband has been a loyal Hertz customer for over a decade. I'm now going to insist we take our business elsewhere.

I paid everything except taxes and fees through Priceline. $152 was to be paid at thrifty counter. they offered me insurance and I declined. I had to sign the electronic pad saying I declined. They charged me anyway and said I signed to take the insurance. I didn't know this until after I had dropped the car off. Seems like a big scam at $203 each time. Will never rent from thrifty again Daniel G
