There's real history tied to UNICEF here and you can feel the purpose behind everything in the space. Fun fact UNICEF was originally created in 1946 to provide emergency food and healthcare to children after World War II and today it operates in over 190 countries. So many beautiful pieces and honestly the prices are great for what you're getting. It all supports a meaningful cause and the service was genuinely kind and helpful. I loved the woven baskets made from telecommunications wires from South Africa super unique and detailed. Also the incense cacao bars and singing bowls are so good I could have spent way too long browsing. There are pieces from all over the world and it really feels like a global collection rather than a typical shop. I ended up snagging a beautiful bracelet and a unique woven hat and already know I'll be back.

I had an additional 315 square feet flooring installed in another room in my home by LL Flooring. I…read moreplaced the order in April but the job was not started until the middle of July. A THREE month delay! Once again, the delay was a result of not having a couple pieces of trim in stock. I dealt with the bulk of my order sitting in my home's foyer for over 5 weeks waiting for trim to arrive. When everything finally arrived, the installer called and agreed to begin installation on 7/15/21 at around 8:00am. He was a no show that morning!!! I called him at 11:30am on 7/15 asking where he was! He told me he did not have anything scheduled for that day!!! Finally, realizing his mistake he said he would arrive ASAP. His crew of four men did show up around 1:00pm and worked a few hours...quitting at 5pm that day. I was stuck at home all day... mostly just waiting for them. They did return the next morning and worked for THREE more days to install 315 square feet of flooring in one room!!! My previous flooring installation was for 475 square feet of flooring. One man completed that job in two rooms in two days! ( except for the trim that was shorted from the order) This installer told me installation took so long because the flooring supplied by LL Flooring was twisted, which slowed the speed of installation. ( Quality issues???) On the last installation day (a Sunday!) for this most recent job, one man showed up to complete the job and clean the hardwood floors...which were covered in dirty fingerprints and glue. He did a great job cleaning the hardwood floors.,. but left my foyer tile floors filthy with dirt and covered with glue footprints from the workers shoes after they stepped in glue while installing the wood floors. Also, the unused flooring pieces were simply left thrown in a pile by my front door. As a contrast, my previous installer collected the flooring cardboard packing, rebuilt the boxes and carefully placed the surplus flooring in the rebuilt boxes. He then secured the boxes with packing tape so I could easily store the boxes. I spent over 8 hours rebuilding the cardboard boxes, packing up the surplus wood flooring and cleaning up the dried glue footprints ( NOT EASY) and dirt tracked into my home by the 4 installers. I was pissed off!!! I made a complaint with LL flooring and when the installer called me to make arrangements for me to sign off on the job, so he could get paid, I chewed him out royally. To his credit he absorbed my not so nice complaining and apologized. He agreed to help me return the surplus flooring to the store for a credit. He acknowledged he messed up by not supervising his crew more closely and would learn from this experience. As for the new flooring, it looks beautiful...now. It was just another long journey with LL Flooring to get to this point. For potential customers reading this review, LL Flooring sells good quality hardwood flooring. However, it has lots of room for improvement in its installation dept's work ethic, scheduling and getting all its sold materials to customers in a timely manner. The store crew was helpful when dealing with me and the many issues that arose with this second job. Ultimately I am satisfied with how my 790 square feet of flooring from LL Flooring looks in my home. It was just too much of a journey to give them any more than a three star rating.

Granted there was only 1 staff person for the entire showroom and ordering. But, he spent the time walking another customer around and explaining different types of flooring - helping him browse rather than saying, "Please continue to browse while I help this other customer. I will return momentarily to answer any further questions." Helping us then going back to the other customer. Further, he was wearing an AirPod in one ear. Yes, I am positive it was not a hearing device. Yes, I am positive it was not for answering calls. How do I know it wasn't for answering calls? The phone calls kept coming in and ringing off the hook on the main line - not silently on his AirPod headphone. Side note, the calls were not answered. The prices and products at Lumber Liquidators are worth the hassle of the customer service. I write this review not to speak badly of the single employee covering the entire showroom and ordering center - but to alert management that their current employee needs help - he needs training and there needs to be more staff to assist him.
