They have a good selection of cleaning supplies as well. There are all kinds of cheap toys. I don't really good shop here but sometimes find something I may need at home. The folks who work here have always been very nice. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the fact that the concrete floors are always dirty. By that I mean they need to be swept. I will however continue to shop here on occasion.

For the most part, it is your standard Dollar Tree, but this location is laid out quite well and seems a tad larger than other nearby locations. They do have a freezer section and a decently expansive food section to go along wit it. While they seem to have the extra space for things, a lot of the shelves were empty. There were boxes all along the aisles, so it appears they were restocking actively during the day. I was looking for a particular care item and when I asked an Associate, she was happy to help, she checked the boxes on the floor and then apologized for not having the item. Overall, this Dollar Tree is a solid stop in a great location. While their stock may be hit and miss, it's worth a swing through given the price...even if it is now $1.25.

One of the customers mentioned out loud customers were wanting to buy their stuff and go, as we could all here the store employees in a back room, talking loudly about how bad their store was. Once one of the employees heard the annoyed customer, she stormed to the counter and said to me very condescendingly that I needed to ring the bell to get their assistance. Of course, there was no sign, and the bell was at the far end of the counter and not very visible. The attendant went on tapping the bell very aggressively, where the other store employee said she would be right with us. That is when the rude employee at the counter said out loud in an angry voice that was not a customer, it was her teaching us how to use a bell. If I did not need to take this adaptor to my very ill mother-in-law at the hospital, I would likely have shoved the bell up her ass. This should be an embarrassment to Dollar General and trash like that should not be allowed to work anywhere around customers.

Whatever happened to, "I'm fine thanks. How are you?" These people are not shy about sharing every intimate detail of their lives with you. Ain't nobody got time for that! Ring me up and let me be on my way. The prices are pretty decent on the things that they carry, provided you can find them in stock when you go. It's a crapshoot whether you will come out with what you were looking for or whether you will need to go elsewhere. And the store in Pegram is just as bad. Corporate needs to take some of those profits they're raking in, hire some decent people, and do some freaking customer service training. Clean up your damn parking lot! It's disgusting! If it wasn't for the fact that I need to go farther afield in order to get the things I need, I'd stop going here at all. They've only been in business for a couple of years and if things don't turn around, I'm thinking they'll probably be out of there in a couple of years.

Well, I went into Dollar General today, and they have baby formula! They even have the lil crunchies my daughter loves and a Great Wall of baby food. They have all the other products I need in a pinch, and the employees are nice and they go out of their way to make sure they have enough cashiers. Products and shelves are always stocked, and prices are good. Extremely impressed by all who make this possible. Great Job Dollar General Pleasant View!

This location is better organized than other locations. Whereas some DG put sale items outside,…read morethis one does not. The workers are nicer than a few of the stores I have frequented and they are willing to help when asked. They supply schools around them so it is an easy trip if a child forgets something. There are 4 schools nearby. The place has always been clean with the occasional box of inventory they are trying to put on the shelves. It is not my go to store but it is convenient when needed and you really never know what you will find. Kind of fun to drop in when you have time. Frugal moms shop by ads and that is when to go shopping. Easy parking and in and out when driving. Someone said in a tip it smells good. I did not smell anything, so that is a either good or bad. Easy shopping cheap, no attitude.
