This small town gem is owned by Boston locals as it has been since it's inception. Located on the main road of Boston, just across the street from the Volunteer Fire Dept and the Boston Barbershop, this little service station is the quintessential cornerstone of the Boston community. Serving food 7 days a week (except in slower months where they're closed on Sundays), you can always count on Hamburgers and FRESH fried chicken. You can also count on Liver and Onions every Thursday. All of those are nice, but the real crown jewel is the Mac and Cheese. As an autistic person, cheese and carbs are my lifeblood so I like to think I'm an expert on the matter. They manage to create a creamy, decedent Mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned and smooth that eases any pain. If you're in need of a mental pick me up, stop in and give our friends a try. Inside was pretty spacious and well upkept and the workers seemed fairly friendly. Gas prices were about average for the area as well. For the number of years old it is, it has been well maintained and refurbished. It is not nearly the size of the new grocery stores but it serves a much smaller population and does so well. They have high end fresh meat products as well. They carry high end varieties of many products including their in house deli. They also have plate lunches every day of the week. They have daily specials from week to week for the plate lunches. They have high end deli meats too. Staff here are all always very helpful. Prices on fresh food are in line with neighboring larger town grocery stores but center story aisle products do tend to be a little more expensive than those stores.
