I really like this store. It has it has all of the characteristics of a big-city Kroger (meat, deli, fresh fish, cheese, bakery, hot entres, olive bar, and even a Satrbucks) but just on a smaller scale. I especially appreciate the bulk foods section because it offers a nice variety of nuts (many with chocolate or yogurt coatings), rices and grains, dried fruit and candies. Usually, I stick to the fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and produce sections, so I can't really say much about the packaged foods (in boxes) or canned goods. Thus, for the things that I puschase, this Kroger fits the bill nicely.

Whenever I have a special occasion that I can justify it, I'd love to come and request a specific cut of meat here. In addition to meat and deli, they offer all sorts of goodies, treats, and things to make your meats taste better. It's always nice and clean inside, and even though it's a little tight that's never been a problem. My only beef (pun very much intended) with Boone's is that they're closed on Sunday, so I can't go to church and get my butcher shop shopping on the same day. Love Boone's, would highly recommend.

The older, shorter woman working behind the counter was exceptionally rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. Her demeanor was hostile and dismissive, making me feel as though I was an inconvenience for simply requesting deli meat and cheese to be sliced. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Instead, I was met with an attitude that was unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I chose to leave without purchasing not only my deli items but also the steaks and other meat I had planned to buy for an upcoming family reunion. I hope management addresses this issue. Employees who interact with customers should provide respectful, courteous service. No customer should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome simply for asking to be served.

Prices have sky rocketed and workers don't even know prices they make them up as they go. Suggest JHT market in Lebanon Junction. Gas is higher there than other close store. The hole feeling of place has changed from local family ambiance to more a tense experience. It's not a good sign that one of the share holders that live in Lexington keeps commenting on how good stuff it on food bar like he visits there everyday and lives in Lexington. Now, if you're from a small rural area, you already know what I'm talking about. When someone says they have a hot bar, you can already bet the food is delicious. These service stations (NOT to be confused with GAS STATIONS) are often cornerstones of communities, owned and operated locally and by people of the community. Boston Mart is no exception. This small town gem is owned by Boston locals as it has been since it's inception. Located on the main road of Boston, just across the street from the Volunteer Fire Dept and the Boston Barbershop, this little service station is the quintessential cornerstone of the Boston community. Serving food 7 days a week (except in slower months where they're closed on Sundays), you can always count on Hamburgers and FRESH fried chicken. You can also count on Liver and Onions every Thursday. All of those are nice, but the real crown jewel is the Mac and Cheese. As an autistic person, cheese and carbs are my lifeblood so I like to think I'm an expert on the matter. They manage to create a creamy, decedent Mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned and smooth that eases any pain. If you're in need of a mental pick me up, stop in and give our friends a try. Boston Mart has my official seal of approval for Homemade Mac and Cheese. If you're in the area or just passing through, it's worth any drive to experience the Boston Mart and small town Americana. Be sure to check their Facebook daily, as they are fantastic about posting what they have for the day! (And my green bean peeps, they season theirs. You're welcome.)

To top it off, they have pizza. For a small town 15 miles from chain food, this pizza is DIVINE.
