This is the first time I've been to a Habitat for Humanity Restore thrift store. I didn't need any…read moredoors, bathroom sinks or furniture. There are some art pictures and household items and books. Garden seeds for a quarter. I found a three hole punch for $1.60 after 25% off. What irked me is I had to use the bathroom so bad and they purposely closed them due to covid. Every other thrift store has open bathrooms. Its an ok store.

Bedding from quilts to sheets. Pillows throw pillows knitted blankets. She also has a variation of kitchen appliances, kitchen utensils all the way to ice skates baskets, figurines. In the back is where she keeps her furniture. The furniture can be anywhere from nowaday to antique just depending on what she has in the shop at the time. She also has bed mattresses headboards footboards lamps pictures and picture frames. I myself the shop there because you never know what she's going to have in her shop. It's always a surprise to see something that you haven't seen in years, say that old kitchen utensil that they don't make anymore that you loved to cook with, bam there it is on her shelf. I love pulling up to see all of the craft projects that range in such a variation from something that you would put in a farm home to in your brand new house that you were just looking for that one piece. That mouth drop piece that you have to have. So no Jan's is not a thrift store. Ok. So I was lured in by a discount, who isn't?…read more Because I think I know what what's what with my feet, I gave my usual requests of something wide and around a size 9. That's when I went down the Minnesota Treads, aka MN Treads on their storefront, rabbit hole. Have you ever stepped on a thermal sensor? Obviously not this guy. I then went down the path of plantar fasciitis(I'm a survivor) 101 and learning that what I've been shopping for in a shoe may be incorrect. I tried on some types and ended up walking out of there with a brand new pair of Topos. And guess what? I'm a size 10! Wow! Getting that comfort in the heal but also that added lift in the arch part of my foot is a game changer. Plus I got a pair of a socks from Adam Turman. Honestly a pretty awesome store. Other assorted clothing and shoes (see pics) and If you're in the area, it is a place worth checking out.

Our two teenagers and I have recently purchased custom fit orthotics in an effort to deal with the leg and hip pain we have been experiencing for a long while now... turns out it's likely from wearing standard fit, although name brand, athletic shoes. Brock, the owner of MN Treads, has gone above and beyond to find athletic shoes that fit our feet and our thick new orthotics. This task has turned out to be more challenging than expected. Through contacting his shoe reps, Brock has worked hard to locate the appropriate sized shoes that fit our family's non-standard sized feet (fairly wide and requiring deep pockets in the upper portions of the shoe to accommodate our high dorsums, tops of the feet, plus the added quite thick orthotics). Can't say enough about the caring customer service at MN Treads - leaps and bounds above the rest. Thank you!
