Nice open/airy first floor with lots of comfy chairs/couches with different configurations to sit and chill or rendezvous with your work team/friends, etc. There was a dude tying flies in the corner and college kids meeting for a study group, diverse mix of folks. Apparently they have tap beer & wine on nights where they host events like trivia on Thurs or bingo on Fri, cool local artwork featured on the walls Service was great/informative on the drink and bakery items, coffee came out quickly (granted it wasn't super busy), Nitro cold brew was excellent, wifi great, chair was comfy, would drop in anytime I'm in the area to catch up on work, relax with great caffeination, or check out the events they host. It's the self-proclaimed "Cheese Curd Capital of Iowa" and I believe them, given that the Frankville cheese factory has been out business for many years. And, for good measure, there is a legit-looking coffee bar as well. And, if you've never seen curds being made, check out the viewing room out back. All in all, the experience is very much like visiting the Tilamook cheese factory in Oregon, but on a more personal, less industrial scale; gift shop, coffee, ice cream, cheese and curds - no whey!

I already had the brewery to try but relatives that live somewhat locally to the town added more justified hype and momentum to give this brewery a try. Without a doubt we will be returning! Might first beer so far with Pivo is their excellent their American Light Lager known as Rice ville Light Lager. As the name suggests this is a rice lager which I do really enjoy getting. This beer is crisp, slightly sweet, malty and a clean finish. That is a highly excellent beer and I can't wait to try more of their beer options. Excellent, excellent starting beer with this brewery!
