The thing is, h the greeter who stopped me sees me in and out of the store several times a week so highly unlikely that I am a criminal. The absolute BEST item in the store is the ham salad! They make their ham in house and use it for the ham salad as well as sell it sliced. Yes, it's a small business and I get that. However, money only goes so far and choices need to be made. So, they are on a once every couple of weeks rotation for us. They have a punch card that gives you a punch when you spend $50 on one purchase. You do not get 2 punches if you spend $100 sadly. Once you get so many punches, you get so much off your next purchase.

Today, Friday, November 21, 2025, I visited Walmart for the first time in over a month to buy a few items and to save time versus driving to Kroger in Delaware, Ohio. To my surprise at checkout, I asked the cashier to apply the $15 promo, but I was told I could not because I no longer have an active Walmart membership/account (no active username, etc.). Frustrated, I left all my purchases on the conveyor and walked out. I then called the local store at 740-657-1341 starting at 7:19 a.m. and continuing until 9:39 a.m. EST, but I have yet to reach a Walmart employee. I've called the toll free number, nothing. Most of the shelves needed re-stocking and every single line was a minimum of 10 people deep, even the self-check out area. I waited 45 minutes to be checked out. The cashier had trouble hearing her scanner so scanned several of my items multiple times (coffee was scanned 4 times!). Good thing I was paying attention and was able to have it corrected. But I use coupons, and I get free e-gift-cards once in awhile so I wait till I have multiple discounts saved up. Really wouldn't come here except Kid K likes a few of their branded items. Instead, I was told they were closing for lunch and the gate was shut in front of me with no warning. No one else was waiting, and I had already been in line. I understand needing breaks, but closing right as the next patient steps up is poor customer service. Because of this, I was unable to get my medication when I needed it. The attendant, tho pleasant enough still made me feel kind of "judged" by needing her help 3x's. So there was that. The lady bagging her groceries next to me goes. "Psst, I think this self scanning is difficult too and often think "why didnt I go to the cashier"". Me: exactly!!! Im just not a fan. Im the sole care giver for my mother. Time is valuable to me. However avoiding stress is even more valuable. I get stressed at this store.
