Sometimes when big rushes happen it looks like unsupervised toddlers have been let loose! You know, things in the isle etc. This was not the case here. It looks like this location has their stuff together. I was able to walk safety through the isles and locate all that I needed. The parking lot is big with plenty of parking. The checkout was fine. I did the self checkout. A warning with tap to pay, walmart does not accept any tap to pay unless it's on the walmart app. I do like the emailed or text recipe options though.

Recently, my delivery orders have frequently been incorrect or missing items. My last order, on October 4, 2025, included major items that were missing yet I was still charged. When I contacted the corporate office, I received a refund of $35.35, which included a $15 promotional code (XXXXX_____) to use on my next purchase, expiring January 2, 2026. Today, Friday, November 21, 2025, I visited Walmart for the first time in over a month to buy a few items and to save time versus driving to Kroger in Delaware, Ohio. To my surprise at checkout, I asked the cashier to apply the $15 promo, but I was told I could not because I no longer have an active Walmart membership/account (no active username, etc.). Frustrated, I left all my purchases on the conveyor and walked out. I then called the local store at 740-657-1341 starting at 7:19 a.m. and continuing until 9:39 a.m. EST, but I have yet to reach a Walmart employee. I've called the toll free number, nothing. Email corporate office , nothing No one willing to be accountable or responsible to explain to me how or why this happened Very sad that large market stores take little notice to the consumer It's not a personal issue; its principle."

I assume I've been here before, but maybe not; haven't reviewed it and it didn't feel familiar inside. It's big, and bright and clean. Parking lot is better-designed than some Krogers in town. Service (help with self checkout) was great. Prices are high, at least on stuff I buy. I look for sales here, and even then often things are more expensive than Meijer's regular prices. But I use coupons, and I get free e-gift-cards once in awhile so I wait till I have multiple discounts saved up. Really wouldn't come here except Kid K likes a few of their branded items. Meats are good here, as always. Produce is okay. They were out of a few things I wanted. Good location in the retail megaplex.

As soon as the customer ahead of me finished, I stepped up to quickly pick up two prescriptions--something that normally takes just a couple of minutes. Instead, I was told they were closing for lunch and the gate was shut in front of me with no warning. No one else was waiting, and I had already been in line. I understand needing breaks, but closing right as the next patient steps up is poor customer service. Because of this, I was unable to get my medication when I needed it. Because of this terrible customer service, I will more than likely be looking for a new pharmacy. I just can't believe the lack of work ethic amongst people nowadays.

And almost always find something new to try, most recently those Unreal coconut bars. The one issue I have with BJ's is those annoying beeping robots. I seriously cut my shopping trip short because as someone who can be sensitive to sounds and constant disruptions, I couldn't take more than a few minutes of it. Maybe next time I'll bring and wear headphones. It's maddening. I give it a 3 because of that beeping robot. Otherwise it would be a 4.

I kinda liked it. First thing I noticed? The brand war: Costco's a Duracell household, BJ's rolls with Energizer. Do I need to know that? Absolutely not. Did I immediately start judging my battery loyalty? 100%. BJ's feels more like a "wholesale meets grocery store" hybrid -- smaller quantities, but still solid deals. I appreciated being able to buy one normal-sized ketchup bottle instead of a gallon drum. Prices were surprisingly competitive, and in a few cases, even beat my local grocery and Amazon. Sure, the selection isn't as massive as Costco, and the store footprint feels tighter, but that's part of the charm. It's like wholesale shopping without needing a forklift or a second mortgage. Verdict: Still a Costco guy at heart, but BJ's earned my respect -- and maybe a spot on my errand rotation.

Fair warning: I come into this review with some bias as Im not a Kroger fan, but this store is…read moreright across from my mothers home so its her go to spot and she wants me to go "here". So I will at least try to not be biased. Their parking lot...- nightmare. I know, I know... but Im being 100% truthful. It has a weird traffic pattern. People zoom around in it. As if thats not enough to deter me from coming here regularly....The spots are narrow, the traffic lanes are also narrow. My biggest objection: half of it is on an incline (poor grading of a grocery parking lot) why donInsay poor? Well, carts roll around down the incline and cars gets dinged. My car has been dinged here from carts and doors when I dont park far far away. Tip: park closer to the mall and walk a bit further... as strangely that part of the center doesn't use carts and some reason they made it nice and level. Go figure. So weird. The store itself... a typical Kroger. This store: Their tea assortment is limited. Seasonal aisle also limited. Their produce is nice, meat/seafood department was just setting up around 9 so we didnt wait to shop it. (Giant Eagles is set up way before 9 btw) My mom went thru full service to check out. I choose self... which I thought would speed things up. Nope. Their self checkout isnt as user friendly as their competition. It took three calls to the attendant to finish the scanning. The attendant, tho pleasant enough still made me feel kind of "judged" by needing her help 3x's. So there was that. The lady bagging her groceries next to me goes. "Psst, I think this self scanning is difficult too and often think "why didnt I go to the cashier"". Me: exactly!!! Im just not a fan. Im the sole care giver for my mother. Time is valuable to me. However avoiding stress is even more valuable. I get stressed at this store. Even though this is right across the street, I think I will drive up or down the road to the competition as shopping at either location is just so much easier than being at this Kroger and dealing with the lot and the self scanner. Jmo.

The radishes were gigantic --but really hot-- but we were able to purchase other salads at comparable prices to other major chains. They have an extensive deli featuring Boarshead, but nothing really prepared there, huge disappointment because it's really what we came for. Everything is frozen or ready to heat, with nothing hot and ready to eat. I mistakenly got the sushi-- which I was later to learn was NOT fresh tasted like it had been sitting all day and not very eatable. Standard nigiri which should be easy? Yuck! Should be time stamped!!!! We will also try some of the andouille sausages and hamburgers but the seafood and meat selections looked good --for whatever that's worth.
