You can find great bargains here so what I do is I come and I look for items that are on clearance because I love sales. In the meantime I did purchase a few items and they do have everything you need for your home and I'm not kidding it's everything they even have a variety of cleaning Scrub Brushes. There's too many Items to list you have to make the best shopping here because you will be in here for a while it's not a place to just come in and leave no it's more or less a place you have to hang around for a while. They have the friendliest people here they're very kind and nice very helpful and today I was checking out and a nice guy Keith, rang up my items. I was very grateful that when they bag everything up for you they make sure they're wrap it up very nice so you don't break or damage your items when you take them home. I just want to say, they are off of 620, so you think it would be easy to find. But it's a little bit of a maze. It's almost like you're going to the hotel that is there, but then swing around to the back of the hotel. Once you find it, you'll know the next time. It's a little confusing. The parking lot right in front is somewhat small. But there is some parking to the side of the building before you drive to the front of the building. They also have handicap parking spots available too. I did take a video of the parking lot. As you enter, to the left is women's clothing. On the right is beautiful dish ware sets. Towards the back they have hand bags, and kitchen ware. In the back right corner is books and in the middle on the right is kids clothing and men's. They do have a lot of jewelry in the middle, and that's where the cashiers are to check out customers. Places like this seem like they move inventory pretty quickly. So if you see something, buy it up. Might not be there the next time. I bet they get a lot of new inventory often. (Although I don't know for sure) Racks are pretty organized by size. So it makes it easy to go through. I did see some high end brand names. I'm glad I was able to check them out. I think it's geared towards older customers. Not exactly what I would be looking for. The clothes I see in Dallas are more diverse, but leaning more towards the mature side. So, the clothes they have do depend on the location of the Uptown. They have regular sales, and their prices are competitive on bird seed, which has gotten quite expensive everywhere. Some friends of mine were visiting from out of state and from east Texas, and they specifically asked to go there. They found items they loved and bought them, and we had a good time shopping together there. I especially enjoy this time of year when they have baby chicks. On my first visit, I noticed they had a nice mix of clothing, shoes, glassware, and home décor, so I came back this weekend hoping to browse the clothing racks. I struck out on clothes this time around--not because they didn't have any, just because nothing in my size was quite my style, condition, or price point. That's thrifting, though. You never know what you're going to find, and sometimes the best score is in a completely different aisle. In my case, I walked out with a pair of vintage shoes in excellent condition for only $5, plus several beautiful glass pieces for next to nothing. I'd call that a successful trip! When I drove by on Sunday, they had boxes and boxes of free items out front with people happily digging through them. It was way too hot for me to join the hunt, but once the Texas weather cools off, I definitely will. This feels like one of those thrift stores that's worth stopping into regularly because the inventory is always changing, and you never know what treasure you'll find next.
